found a bike like mine being parted out. Paid 150 bucks for the exhaust headers, mufflers, blinkers, and brake lever. I got that shit for a steal
The only bike I ever bought costed me $100 and it was a running Kawasaki F7 Enduro bike. Guy gave me a second frame, engine, and forks too. Should have kept the extra engine for gokart goodies. :(
My friend wrecked his 88 mustang, he hit telephone pole, and it was foggy out.

love
Okay, so my girlfriend wants to get a car. She hasn't got her license yet, but will be getting it in march.
I've been checking out some cars on CL but I'd like to know the reputation some of these cars have. She's been eying this 96 Jetta, which she likes cause of the sunroof, but my concern is being German is it gonna be an arm and a leg to repair stuff?

Link to the jetta
I was lookin around and saw a volvo http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/3454613573.html
She'd probably love this cabrio too, but how can I tell whether or not it's any good?

So far the budget is >$1000, she prefers automatic but is willing to learn manual, but I'm still at a bit of a loss so far.. Any ideas would be much appreciated ;D
Kind of snowy here, these all were stuck :v:

You can definitely find better on the volvo, I personally know someone who is selling an 850 10X better than that one for $1800, but it isn't on CL.
Here is a turbo RWD http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/3450513892.html

That's one hell of a deal on that Jetta if it runs well. Maintenance will be no more than on any other OHC, FWD import, it's common enough and just in that year range where it's not old enough to be classic and pricey but not new enough to be expensive and strange.
Well sweet I'll give them a call. Here's to hoping everything looks okay
Dat 0 fucks given UPS truck down dirt road.

I've gotta start looking into cars soon since I'll be moving back to the states. It's a bit stressful because I don't want to save forever, so I need a fairly cheap car; even a fixerupper if it's not too expensive; but I also want something that will look fairly nice and not require a lot of body/cosmetic work.
Beggars can't be choosers though, I'll prolly settle with the best I can do.

@the jetta, imports will always be more expensive to fix and harder to work on.
What area are you in, Bredirish? Give me some location and I can hit the interwebs.
have fun with your electronic problems
Oh wow, exact issue I had with my truck before I touched the TV cable and broke it. Wouldn't shift until the RPM's got way up.
