My rant on arrogance and idiocy of Computing Teachers - General

My teacher is awesome, every exam or test we do he goes over the answers with us on the smartboard and shows us really idiotic examples that other people put down. If i had them here it would make for dramatic reading.

My school's techies have an undercover agent. Any conversation he hears, example: "Hey, you know you can access command prompt by saving 'command.com' to a bat file?" He reports it to the techies. echies block command.com. Nobody really likes him.

I set my gmail to the terminal theme and a teacher thought I was "hacking" and tried to get me a referral (demerit, punishment). Teachers think they know so much and when proven wrong they will not have it and only punish those who question. But still it was my fucking gmail, fucking dumb ass.

The best part about my school is that they have locked down so many of our privileges on the school computers that we can't even change our generic passwords. All I do in my tech class if go into the school server and get into the student list and than from there I have there login, and with the generic password I just go in and make a text document and copy it around 1,000 times and leave.

God damn, not as much arrogance as pure idiocy and stupidity, but I hate my Computer Science teacher to no end. She thinks she is an amazing teacher, when she has in fact not taught us one thing since the start of the year. We have had to teach ourselves. She hands us pages with definitions of various things we are learning and gives us assignments. She'll occasionally read out what a certain thing is (From the identical pages she gives us. I swear, she's probably said the exact same script to every class every year, it's so robotic and repetitive.), but will never try to explain it to us. What if we don't understand? She won't help us get it right. She has terrible catch phrases (When she assigns stuff, she is all like "Goodbye and Good Luck", and "Big Big Test" When we have tests.). Plus, she's like fucking ninety years old and getting senile. Ugh, I hate it. And on top of it all, it's an AP Class. She isn't qualified to teach one, let alone teach. Frustrating rant, but yeah. Only two more months of her crap.

We also block anything close to a blog. It doesn't even need to be a blog to get blocked.

Me and my friends have started to bring laptops into school and hook into the school mainframe and print shit from every computer. Its hilarious to print :P on 100 different computers and watch the school go insane.

I took three of those last year to maintain student status while I was looking for work. I don't think Ive been in easier piss classes. 2 hours per exam, 3 exams. Started at 9, I was done before 10, all three. Quite pathetic, even my computer clueless sister would've had a chance of passing them.

My ICT teacher at school turned out to be a paedophile after he was caught feeling up some 12 year old girl after class.

Our school invests in these online databases for projects. The damn things have no information, and since were not supposed to use wikipedia (HERP DERP ANYONE CAN EDIT IT) I get on there anytime I see that teacher just to make her mad.

For the past 3 years (2 years of college and first year of University) I've been stuck with foreign Computing / IT teachers. Learning Binary to Hexadecimal conversion from an Indian man, was possibly one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. Now I'm at Uni, I'm stuck with some chinese woman who knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, about computing. She reads from a script the entire lesson and when we ask her questions about the subject she doesn't know the answer to any of the questions, instead she just dodges around the question and ultimately ends up not answering it at all. We once found a whole script that she was reading in the class had just been copy and pasted from Wikipedia, we could follow it word for word from what she was saying. I'm not saying every teacher is like this, but people like this should definitely not be teaching people who obviously know more about the subject than they do.

I natuarlly rage at every teacher. E.g.My science teacher (who is a bitch) told us to make a slideshow on Animal creulty and our thoughts (you can see what is coming). When we presented it... A cat smiling <3 Animal testing! and then 7 pages of Lolcats. Needless to say there was a lot of rage and a call home :D.

I think a PC killed my teacher's father and raped her mother. Because she's always licking Mac's ass and she obviously thinks the only browser available on a PC is Internet Explorer, and if something is wrong with her Mac she tells us about how the computer would have BSOD'd if it was a PC.
