I Suffered from this for 3 Weeks nonstop, felt like Someone was hitting me with a Hammer then constantly stabbing My Brain with a Knife, i felt like getting a saw and cutting my head open and ripping that part of my brain out to make it stop.
You did it wrong, you dont mutliply the population by .1 to get 0.1 percent because 1 = 100%, not 100 = 100%. Therefore you should multiply by 0.001 to get the correct percentage out of 1. Anyway, as I said earlier i highly doubt the numbers are as high as 0.1% as only 400 people in Britain experience these.
Exactly. And yet, there's at least 5 people in this thread suffering from it.
Exactly. And yet, there's at least 5 people in this thread suffering from it.
Oh, make it 6! Look above your post. This forum is filled with adolescents and hypochondriacs.
Ugh, why do people have to start arguments anyway. "NONE OF YOU HAVE THIS. THE ODDS ARE TOO LOW." I see the error I made now as I was reading it as 1% not .1%. Someone could have easily pointed that out instead of making such a big deal. For example "You did you math wrong, the Percent is 0.1% not 10%." [editline]11:38AM[/editline]
Exactly. And yet, there's at least 5 people in this thread suffering from it.
it is likely that people with this will come to the thread more than people who don't.

[editline]12:40PM[/editline]
It's 0.1% of the world's population, dumbass.
Yep, I did.
You just repeated that 0.1 of X number is Y not that I was using the wrong number.
My uncle just started getting these. They say it was due to his drinking.
You just repeated that 0.1 of X number is Y not that I was using the wrong number.
Sorry, do you need all your information spoon fed to you?
Jesus, this has turned into a maths competition. :colbert:
We all told you this multiple times, you were busy being smug (and wrong).
Sorry, do you need all your information spoon fed to you?
You could have just not been a dick when stating things. Makes shit a ton easier.
it is likely that people with this will come to the thread more than people who don't.
Grasping at straws.
We all told you this multiple times, you were busy being smug (and wrong).
None of you said that I was using the wrong number until this last page. [editline]11:43AM[/editline]
Grasping at straws.
I see a thread with the title "Curved spine problems" and I have them. I am more likely to look in the thread than someone without them. (not saying I have them)
I took the user count and divided it by .1. Dont be a fucking idiot.
This is stating information in a non-dick way?
I'm pretty sure I would know if I felt like crap or not.
You are either a moron who honestly thought I was referring to the validity of whether or not you felt like crap after having a migraine and not the fact that you compared a migraine to a cluster headache, or you are a troll.
I see a thread with the title "Curved spine problems" and I have them. I am more likely to look in the thread than someone without them.
Considering there's almost zero active members who, statistically, have this on this forum, nobody would be here to look at the thread.
I see a thread with the title "Curved spine problems" and I have them. I am more likely to look in the thread than someone without them. (not saying I have them)
Or, the average FPer sees a thread about headaches, reads the thread, and thinks "Hey, I had a pretty bad headache a few weeks ago; I must suffer from this too!"
If they are worse than fapping with a headache... :ohdear:
I just figured out since there are only 400 diagnosed cases in England (according to the video). This turns the percentage of someone having this to 0.0008. 400/50 000 000 * 100 = 0.0008 Therefore if this is the true percentage of the world population with these then the world population with cluster headaches is: 6 697 254 041 * 0.000008 = 53 578 Which in turn would mean the active members of facepunch with it would be: 29 529 * 0.000008 = 0.236232
Considering there's almost zero active members who, statistically, have this on this forum, nobody would be here to look at the thread.
So 172 people on this forum have it. 5 in a thread is too much?
So 172 people on this forum have it. 5 in a thread is too much?
Please. Never become a maths teacher.
Dont use active members. Also like someone stated earlier, statistics are statistics and are not the actual amount. if 1 in 5 people are Chinese then in china only 100/500 people are Chinese right? No.

why is this thread so argumentative
So 172 people on this forum have it. 5 in a thread is too much?
172 people on this forum DON'T have it The number of active users is about 5-20 percent of the number of accounts on these forums, .001 isn't an up-to-date figure (it's likely much lower), etc All-in-all, you'd be lucky to find someone who actually has this disorder on this forum. Even one.
why is this thread so argumentative
People have a need to increase their e-peen.
Only 400 diagnosed cases of people having it in England doesn't necessarily mean that only 400 people have it in England.
But it's the best number we have to make an estimation on.
Dont use active members. Also like someone stated earlier, statistics are statistics and are not the actual amount. if 1 in 5 people are Chinese then in china only 100/500 people are Chinese right? No.
What the fuck are you talking about?
People have a need to increase their e-peen.
Says the one who's continuing to argue even after being proven wrong.
Only 400 diagnosed cases of people having it in England doesn't necessarily mean that only 400 people have it in England.
Thats why I said according to the video. And I realise that it doesn't mean that only 400 people have it. How likely do you think it is someone will have a headache in England which is so painful they want to kill themselves, yet they won't be concerned enough to go to the hospital? We can't know the true percentage but I'm going off the best we got.
