I was supposed to be working on a 3 page script over my Spring Break.
I haven't even started it yet and its due tomorrow morning.
Normally I'd have at least 6 pages of script done and gone up and beyond the call of duty, but the trouble is the parameters I have to work around are so insufferably restrictive and the rough storyline I've had to come up with the satisfy these horrendous restrictions is just plain crappy and trying to stretch this snore fest onto 3 pages is annoyed me so much I've procrastinated this pile of crap into the night before its due.
You'd think an assignment on how to write script that HAS to involve VIOLENCE in some form would be easy but when you HAVE to base it around a REAL event it crosses that invisible line and becomes a gigantic fucking headache to deal with. It's especially hard for me because the stuff I usually like writing is funny/sci-fi :frown:

Well, I had a group assignment for Biology, which I was supposed to do over the term (3 months?). I ended up doing it the day before, alone, in 4 hours. I got a 15,5 (out of 20). That's better than the previous one, on which I worked in for a week with the other guys and got 13.
I should do some math, by the way.
I have a 250 word letter to write for my German class, and as usual I don't know how to start/ really can't be arsed to, so I browse FP instead :/
Best advice, no matter what you are doing:
Just turn off the monitor, even if you're in the middle of something. Wait about a minute, and then you will be able to focus on something besides the internet.

Right... I have had an entire month to do a chemistry assignment one of my lecturers set.
I have to write a 1500 word magazine article on biopolymers, and finish off a few questions, by Tuesday. Oh actually make that quite a lot of questions. One of my other lecturers emailed us some work we were supposed to get last term to do in the holidays. THANKS GUYS. REALLY GREAT EASTER BREAK WE'RE HAVING HERE.
the best way to focus imo is to do NOTHING but what you are supposed to be doing and after a while you will focus
