Well, fuck. I didn't even know there was a hurricane. I should watch the news more often.
Yeah, you just have earthquakes. *note the internet sarcasm*
Haha. Pretty bad ones near here. I live pretty close to San Fran.
Earl got downgraded to level two, I hope it isn't bad for you :saddowns:

I'm in south Florida and I didn't even know. Eh, it can go fuck himself.
you should go to the eye, safest place in a hurricane.
No, don't do this, this is a genuinely bad idea. Not only is the storm harshest in the area around the eye, the eye moves fast, and I mean really really fast. You'd need to be driving in your car if you want to keep up with it. But I doubt your car would make it into there with winds that strong.
I just started college. Right on the south coast of Massachusetts. We're under a hurricane warning right now. If I don't edit this post at midnight tomorrow, I've died in some freak accident and/or vanished mysteriously.
MCNAB PLEASE DONT DIE! :h:
I'm in south Florida and I didn't even know. Eh, it can go fuck himself.
You do know this is where all the rain is coming from right?
Good luck friend! I wish you the best! Also, hopefully this brings some rains (preferably thunderstorms) to southeastern Pennsylvania. The heat has been unbearable lately.
Good luck friend! I wish you the best! Also, hopefully this brings some rains (preferably thunderstorms) to southeastern Pennsylvania. The heat has been unbearable lately.
It's true, it's really hot around here.
Thread...
I live on the eastcoast too, my area is supposed to get hurricane force winds too(Coast of Massachusetts). We might even see it too.
Good luck, reporting in from the West Coast. At least you guys get a warning about a disaster.. :(
When I lived in Jacksonville I went swimming in my Walmart pool when ever there was a hurricane. I only got to do that once but the water smelled like dead fish for days.
NY here, rain plox.
Don't post threads like this in GD like the entirety of facepunch is going to fall apart if GOD FORBID they don't know where you are for five seconds.
Don't post threads like this in GD like the entirety of facepunch is going to fall apart if GOD FORBID they don't know where you are for five seconds.
Hi I have a bomb.
I probably sound like a dick but, I bet the OP isn't even near the hurricane and wants some attention. Then a month later he'll make a thread about some kind of bad ass miracle on how he survived
Reporting from South Carolina. It wasn't even windy today. The sky was completely clear. Thank god for the high pressure system above the east coast. Without it, I would have just been hit with a category 4 storm. Instead it'll just skirt the coast and hit NYC as a category 1.
I'm really happy it changed course, it was headed straight for my island. Being without power and water for over a week in this kind of heat is a nightmare. I can still remember the smell of the bathroom after several days... and that was years ago. Although going outside during the eye if the storm is awesome, pure calm and sunny skies for nearly 30 minutes or so.

Then a month later he'll make a thread about some kind of bad ass miracle on how he survived
That's highly unlikely. If he's along the outer banks then he should be worried. If not, then he's probably just a little scared because he's being blindsided by a Category 4 hurricane. If he does play it up, though, just call him out and move on.
Maybe he'll spread tales of karma all along the east coast :buddy:
Just sitting here in ATL, ain't gettin shit.
It's just going to skim the coast. You're not even going to get the full brunt of the storm.

I'm at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro.. I'm hoping we get hit (hard, not a 2 hour rain) but there's no way we really will.. So I was playing TF2 for an hour or so and lost track of time and the weather. Uh oh.
Luckily I'm near Washington DC, so we might just barely get a bit of wind.
Godspeed my friend, godspeed
I'm glad I live in Australia, very rare for us.
I know. No tornadoes, no hurricanes, and no blizzards. All we get is the seasonal drought here.
And wildfires in CA.
