massachusetts reporting in.
i live next to new bedford which is like right on the line between tropical storm winds and hurricane force winds. where i live is just a little over into hurricane warnings.
Its funny how this one storm is causing rain all over the East Coast, it really sucks when the streets flood.
I said the same thing when I saw "Bing" in the corner.
I'd be more afraid of THAT than Earl.
Does this tickle your fancy better?
Shit, son.
May the almighty Garry be with you.
I know. No tornadoes, no hurricanes, and no blizzards. All we get is the seasonal drought here.
As long as we can continue on not having devastating earthquakes. :ohdear:
Im from North Carolina as well, I'm suprised Earl isn't here already. I'm not supposed to get much of it though :frown: I love hurricanes.

And good luck, fellow North Carolinian.

Looks almost like CGI and if it is real I just shit my pants.
Actually, I think I'm missing it... I haven't even noticed.
That's real
It's a category one.
It's a category one.
Still glad its not hitting me, hurricanes suck and even a category 1 can knock out power.
I remember hurricane Ike. That thing was a direct hit. The eye passed over my house but it was to dark to see it. It was funny because you would see all the trees blowing one way, then the next day they were all blowing the other way.
[editline]10:28PM[/editline]
We lost power while watching news stories about people having hurricane parties on the bolivar peninsula. When we got power back a week later this is what we saw on the news:

That's what was left of the Peninsula.
Ive been in Katrina AND Wilma. My fence got slaugthered by Katrina and my shed got murdered by Wilma. I wish you luck McNab.
People here are having hurricane parties. Seems stupid imo.

Ike beat my trees and raped my fence. Fuck you Ike!

Now you can spend it here with us!
Get in the basement. Pack your computer and other electronics in there. God, I lived in Kansas City and once a tornado warning came, that's what I did.

Basement in a hurricane?
I take it you havent been in a bad hurricane yet have you?
Get in the basement. Pack your computer and other electronics in there. God, I lived in Kansas City and once a tornado warning came, that's what I did.
Hurricanes are different than tornadoes. Getting in a basement could be a bad idea. It's best to get to high ground. If you get a flash flood your basement could become your grave.

Yeah...
Though I doubt there will be much flooding with Earl. Except the coast might flood a bit.

Is it wrong I laughed at the fire with all that water around it?
Also damn thats a lot of water.
Fuck you Earl.
He should have struck in northern Mexico.
I wanted some rain here in Texas.
In Louisiana we've been getting non-stop rain from it for the past week. Wanna trade?
Probs going to hit where I live. Not going to get it bad though I'm guessing.
