we atleast the world doesn't have to deal with Bushs shit anymore!
Yeah, now we have to deal with Obama's. Except that when you try and criticize him, you're apparently racist.
Well, those links were.
But thank you for the re-direct.
No problem, sorry about the links being screwed up in the first place... I should have just quoted him.

I do hate that about it.
People need to learn to separate the race card from things.
You should be able to criticize the president.
Sadly, it seems anymore it's just a band-wagon for one party or the other.
When i was in highschool hating bush was cool, sadly, not many of my friends bothered to read up on anything, they just hated him because.
Now it seems that bashing Obama is the new "in" thing.
I think it's easy to criticize a guy who came into a troubled economy.
Everyone is expecting instant gratification, and i don't think you can undo the mess that our economy has become in 4 years, possibly not even 8.
A hole as deep as ours takes time.
I don't think a republican or a democrat could have helped in the immense scale that Americans are expecting.
Also, i get so tired of people just thinking of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as such easy to stop conflicts.
You can't just walk out and leave a mess.
I hate that that constantly gets thrown in Obama's face.
There is no accurate means to predicting a war, and it's an even harder thing to end.
Especially when you're not fighting an army that can just lay down their arms and sign a cease-fire.

Well, I'll be damned, you didn't convert me, but you've got a good point. Although, I don't think Obama is getting bashed as badly as bush, at least not yet. But then again, very few presidents have made it through 4 years of presidency without ruining their reputations.
SonofBrim;23584371']Well, I'll be damned, you didn't convert me, but you've got a good point.
Haha.
I just think people take sides in the matter too much.
I think people should try to find their own facts instead of having someone else tell them.
I can't count the number of times my Mom has made me want to punch myself in the face by regurgitating a Bill O'reilly or Glenn Beck monologue to me.
Sometimes i just want to tell her to read her own news, but she's too e-tarded to get her news from any other source.
OP's a troll. A good one at that.
What a frustrating thread.
Not the best, not the worst. I think he has been doing a decent job. He would be doing better if the Republicans weren't so uncooperative.

He had a filibuster proof majority until Brown was elected... you can't blame his inefficacy on the Republicans. He couldn't even get his own party to vote for a public option/the health care plan most liberals want.
Let's see... We can all agree that Obama has 3 major things he has done so far.
1) Stimulus Plan.
2) Afghanistan war.
3) Health care bill.
Now, let's see... Bush started the stimulus, almost everyone is against the Afghan war, and the health care bill is just going to drive up costs even more while only covering about 10 million more people. (I will find sources if anyone requests)
SonofBrim;23583803']Yes, you are right, that is not a reliable statistic.
These, however, are reliable statistics, courtesy of sgman (they were posted earlier in the thread).

This is why I feel more comfortable knowing 75% of facepunch don't live in the US.
Obama fucking ruined this country.
no he didn't
no he didn't
Tell me why then is the unemployment still at 10%, considering people have stopped looking for work it has gotten much worse.
So you feel the being able to turn off the internet is a good thing, eh? In a sense (nobody can completely shut down the internet).
if obama ever needs to use the kill switch you probably have more important things to worry about.
[editline]11:43AM[/editline]
it's not like obama hasn't been trying to lower the unemployment rate either
He has failed doing so, and everybody knows it.
he still has plenty of his term left
[editline]11:46AM[/editline]
I would like to see you solve it mister critical.
He's a bad president.
He handled the BP crisis like bush would have done it. He's corrupted.
Yeah he should have handled that better.
I give it a meh so far. I mean, a lot of shit went down so much in just the first part, and who knows what lies ahead. Only thing left to do is wait and see.
Complete shit president. :colbert:
carful man u gona b excutd bcoz u r oposing presigent
Obama isn't really doing anything to fix America's problems. He made people believe he would though.
Oh god everyone thinks I'm racist for disliking Obama.
I really can't believe you fucks are still feeding into this damn troll. You're really disappointing me facepunch. And your arguments never go anywhere, so why argue in the first place? Damn, it gets annoying.
Glenn Beck.
I am still angry at him for his Overton Window cliffhanger. :argh:
Anyway, ConservaOP, point your finger elsewhere, please.
Obama is trying to do his job, but we need a stronger president to fix the messes of now 2 presidents.
Republicans should just be removed.
knowing you, "removed" means "shot in the face" right?
Oh god everyone thinks I'm racist for disliking Obama.
He's making an effort. Change is slow to happen sometimes.
Obama is trying to do his job, but we need a stronger president to fix the messes of now 2 presidents.

He's a bad president.
you people say he's a bad president, but you never explain WHY
[editline]08:48PM[/editline]
Tell me why then is the unemployment still at 10%, considering people have stopped looking for work it has gotten much worse.
because it takes a lot more to clean up this mess that the Republicans got us into than to create it
and the economy HAS gotten better. we're not in a recession anymore. it's going to take YEARS to clean up all the shit that Bush and his administration did.
This is why I feel more comfortable knowing 75% of facepunch don't live in the US.
Obama fucking ruined this country.
most FPers are in the US just so you know. look at the census poll that someone did.
Obama fucking ruined this country.
you are an absolute idiot. Obama had nothing to do with the mess the US is in now. shit had hit the fan before he even was sworn in.
have you been living under a rock or something?
