It is so appalling that so many people are misinformed or delusional about this president.
Overall Obama has been a dismal failure. He came into office wielding more power than any president in recent history. He had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and a powerful majority in the house. Reagan had to work through a democrat controlled Congress and Bush dealt with constant opposition and filibustering of his projects. Obama had to deal with neither case. He could pass whatever he wanted during his first year without a single Republican vote.
Now, 2 years later, hes on the eve of losing control over the House - maybe even the Senate. His health care plan is a disaster that had to be front-loaded 3 years in advance to pass the Congressional Budget Office, and even then they've since revised their numbers to more accurately reflect the damage it will do. It has become a beacon to rallying the opposition in order to throw his party out of power. His list of accomplishments are small, and his list of mistakes, disasters, and failures are longer than i could write in one post on this forum. This guy really is the next Jimmy Carter. I can't even figure out how someone whose is a bleeding-heart liberal could be happy with the guy.

I voted for the dude because the other option (Palin and the old man) was retarded, but Obama kind of blows.

They had a filibuster proof majority, and still didn't put in a public option which makes it totally useless.
At least we're getting out of Iraq, but we ought to get out of Afghanistan too.
