The Surface Pro is absolutely beautiful, and in every review I've seen, they comment on the quality of the screen. I really want to see one in person... see if the color reproduction and black levels are really like everyone says.

it's not really a huge deal but generally speaking "Silent Unboxing" means you don't talk/play music and the only sound in the video is the actual box being opened
so i was sort of disappointed when the video started, but you chose a pretty good song anyway so it balances it out

My Nexus 7 doesn't lag, lasts 12 hours of screen on usage and has a multitude of apps designed for tablet displays.
But I can admit that the Surface Pro looks pretty nice.
The surface is a sexy looking device, with a nice screen. I'm not sure about the pricepoint and the other downsides though
If I can ever put linux on the thing then I might grab one if I see it on sale

I would only buy a Surface Pro if the price point went WAY down. It's a nice device and I love that it can run native Windows applications but I can't see spending $900 on a tablet when I can buy an Ultrabook for $200 less and just not have a touchscreen.

The surface pro runs on Windows 8, it can do literally everything that a desktop or laptop computer running 8 can do. (excluding loading something like the Rage modding tools because of it's laughably tiny hard drive space, unless you have a microsd or something)

Some people like me have fuckloads of 32GB SD cards, if you got a nice case for the surface you could put them in a pouch and label them
