I'll stick with my $5 thrift store MIDI keyboard, thanks.
Instrument 56 makes everything sound awesome when you're just regularly typing.
Got around to adding Snuffy's great work and mjbrooks194's A+ work too. I also took the liberty of adding a download of all the songs in a text file It's not kept as up to date as the thread though. Oh almost forgot I added a request section if you have a request of a song just post it then I'll add it to the list and if you think you are up to the challenge some of you should try making them.

For some reason I read the title of the thread as "Play the piano on your head" I don't know why. Anyways I tried this but my key-piano skills are not quite good enough I guess.
Oh my god this is awesome, also writing with the thing on is hilarious. Ahah, playing the halo theme in "FX 8 (sci-fi)" sounds exactly like the real thing. Time of your life would be a great song to start with.
Thats some great work there Latin_geek. I added the requested songs and the rest of the songs I forgot to add. This is coming along great!
OK, I got it to work on my school's computer but I don't know how...
OK, I got it to work on my school's computer but I don't know how...
Put it on all the computers :v: you'll get a real kicker outta that.
Wedding song please
I love you OP.
I remember in an old thread about this someone played Path to Borealis.
Not mine just kinda dug it up from the wiki and thought you guys might like it.
Pallet Town trewiyUyt eqqwer Jqwe-rew trewiUUiy tt rewqtrewq qwer t re qwer-r-t rte ewqw h e w q J q e-e w
You guys probably know this, but you can use your keyboard to play music in just about any professional music program. Here's an example of me doing this in Ableton. I did no editing, its just me playing three tracks live (drums, Rhodes keyboard, synth). You can have it do pretty much everything Keybored does, including leaving it running while you're typing in other programs. If you guys are having fun with Keybored, I urge you to try out an actual audio program like Ableton. Its just as simple to play and compose, but you're capable of doing much more with it, and have a huge library of professional instruments to choose from.
Yeah I sometimes do prefer to use the keyboard in garage band Keybored is good if you want something simple and don't want to download a professional a music program. Thanks for being more polite then the last guy.
Does not work for me. It opens up, I hit start, press keys, but no sound. Any advice?
Does not work for me. It opens up, I hit start, press keys, but no sound. Any advice?
Go into your Audio control on the tray bar and make sure the SW Synth isn't muted, I had the same problem but solved it myself.
-snip- Above worked, thanks.
This is my new favorite thing to do. Thanks guys!
Sorry for the bump, but I recently decided to try this again, but it no longer works. Does it work for anyone else still? I know my SW sounds are not muted, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
So what does it mean when there's a capital letter? Like: yTyTy etr w fhle hKer h yTyTy etr l fhle hrew (copied from Darkspirit0r's quote) [editline]06:26PM[/editline] Also, anyone knows if there's any way to record a sound from the computer directly and not via microphone?
Record using Stereo Mix. Stereo Mix is everything coming out of your speakers, so as long as no other sounds are playing, it will record perfectly fine.
Haha. When I ran this I scared myself when I started typing, because I didn't realize it doesn't run as a program on screen.
It does run as a program on screen if you used the right exe.
oh shit i remember this from a while back. pretty cool to fuck around with, thanks for the bump.
Thanks for giving me virus, idiot
I know it isn't a virus but why does it show up as one?
Ever hear of a False Positive?
Possibly because it tracks your keystrokes
