With 848 votes. Not suspicious at all.
So what ? it's 848 legit votes.
Oh wow, I used to have faith in humanity, what a bunch of dicks.
Why would anyone join this community if they're not going to support it :downs:.
Look so now all you pricks complaining about unfair votes can shut the fuck up. It's fair game if we're using the same techniques.
except those bakeries are getting votes from their friends or loyal customers and this bakery is getting votes from random people on the internet.
According to the commenters Ashley's fans have another thing coming.

They would do it too if they were as smart as us.

there's a difference between being fair and being smart.
I voted, OP makes me go :3:

Whoever can win fair and square is the smartest.
The smartest is Facepunch.

this isn't winning fair and square.
I voted because I'm such a nice guy.
this isn't winning fair and square.
What nonsense! Go somewhere else with your masturbatory drivel!
this isn't winning fair and square.
In war and love everything is allowed. 'cept the nukes.
I voted, for the sheer love of baked goods.
There weren't any rules set on how to win, so asking FP to vote is as fair as any other method.
You're welcome.
Send me a cupcake
Again, the way to get lots of votes is to get the word out to your customers by e-mail, your own web site, signs in your business or wearing a sandwich board.

I'm pretty sure Facepunch is counted as a sandwich board, right?

I love how a war evolved over pastries :v:

I'll take pastries over oil, money, or religion any day.

Oh yeah, if you decide to cheat — like using some sort of automated voting —we reserve the right to delete you from the list of nominees, reset our poll to zero votes at an arbitrary time or just eliminate you from the final results. How we decide to do this is up to us, but nominees getting many votes per minute will be prime suspects, as will those getting all their votes from too few IP addresses.

he's not getting votes because his bakery is good, but because he posted a poll on a message board and everybody thinks they're doing something great by voting for him.

There is no automated voting or scripts or anything else that some people have said therefore rules were not broken therefore there has been no cheating.
And you know their Facebook friends would even vote for them if they've never been or thought it tasted like shit.

asking people on a forum to vote =/= automated voting
gtfo

congratulations, you can take a statement literally. they provided an example of cheating, but i'm sure posting a link on a forum and telling everybody to vote for your bakery, causing your votes to rise sky high, is under their definition of cheating.

and how is this any different from the other bakeries posting on FB telling others to vote?
please use your brain

One is cheating and one is good marketing.

marketing? it's not like we're suddenly going to go eat at this bakery now.
Publicity is not cheating.
That said, stop commenting on the poll site. You guys are making it look bad.
because the people on facebook had probably eaten at the bakery? why else would they join its facebook group?

Could very well be because they were on their friends list so of course they would join the group regardless.
