Tis' all good
i'm part welsh, like a quarter i believe.
two things;
1. I live on "Anglesea", which is actually spelt "Anglesey".
2. Why shouldn't people go to Anglesey?
Sorry but I found it rather boring.
Unless you like sea-life centres (And even then they wouldn't let me touch the sting-ray). I was around 8 at the time though, so it may have changed?

I wouldn't think touching a thing that has a poisonous barb on its tail a good idea.

Only touch the wings, I wasn't going to touch the barb.
I have a summer house in Llanfairfechan, it's nice but boring now because since I have been to nearly every tourist spot in Wales.
Full of sheep, valleys and charming little villages.
Dwi'n byw yn y Cymru a dwi'n hoffi fo.
I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the longest town name in Wales, which is one of the largest in the world.
"Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch"

I live about an hour away from there - and am also able to pronounce it.
:smug:
It wasn't bad, bit cold at night and I seemed to be a fair while away from civilisation.

Yeah I'm not too far from it either, it's something we had to learn how to pronounce in school during our Welsh lessons.
As someone living in Swansea, I'll be honest and say that some of the places looks like absolute shit, It's half way in that remaking the place look nice stage where nice buildings are close to the marina and shit ugly ones are in the background.
Though west wales near aberaeron/aberystwyth is rather nice.
Also DW I DDIM YN HOFFI BWYTA SBWRIEL

Also, if you're English, avoid going to Wales when the Rugby is on. They hate the English, especially when it comes to Rugby. They support the other Celtic nations too. They don't give a shit about football.
The Welsh seem to be a very patriotic people. Obviously I'm generalising here on the people I met while I was there, but after six months in Swansea this is the overall impression I came away with.
Best generalization I've seen so far too
I went on holiday and stayed in some cottage near Betws-y-Coed
I loved it.

Absolutely loved it. Then again, i was 2.
I went to Wales three times now, one time was to climb snowdon and the other two times were basically geology. Nice place to just relax in the county side and enjoy life.
