what makes you happy? Lol..
no one ever really knows what they are going to do with their life career wise in highschool. people will say what they want to be, but on average, people change majors and career plans several times whether in college or elsewhere. try to enjoy the simple things and not let things kick your ass.
Work in a smelly factory, then you will think your lifes awesome.

Go buy an awesome car to start learning and working on. It would be worth it in the long run.
Go get one of "The Sims" games, and fulfill all your dreams through one of your Sims's life. I don't know, if it doesn't help - play GMod.
Looks at official facepunch diagnostic. "Well I'm no genius but something's telling me you have a bad case of teenage anxiety. Chances are the people you see around you to be happy feel the exact same way you do." It'll pass. In the mean time you could always check out some philosophies or maybe just listen to this... Get some long hair. Put lots of vax in it. Never smile. Dress in black clothes. Get alot of piercings. Aaand.. Be sure you have spikes on everything i mentioned above!
Teen angst, aka: your 'depression' is only a result of chemical changes going through your brain at this moment. You can kill yourself if you want to, but you should wait at least 4 more years before you attempt it. This feeling of depression is going to pass, I guarantee it.
Get your ears pierced and gauge them so you have huge hole in your ears.
I'll be your friend. [sp]For money.[/sp]
You have to commit. No matter how hard it seems, don't duck out of something that you can't instantly win. Persevere, work hard and be rewarded. As for career ideas, find something. Find a subject you enjoy, and are good at. Then commit to it.
Hell, I'm going into senior year and I don't know what I'm going to do. Am I fucked?
I know what your point is. Life really is meaningless for the most part. There isn't really a point if you don't have SOMETHING. I was there, at the edge. I was close before someone came into my life that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. It's interesting how only then I started to realize how talented I really was. Of course that was just luck for me, but at least you are seeing the logical side of things.
How about love? There'll be love some day.
Stop listening to your idiotic mom and choose for yourself? [editline]09:06PM[/editline]
I know what your point is. Life really is meaningless for the most part. Life's meaning is to pass your genes on to the next generation. That is all.
jump off a building something like the empire state building funnest (and last) minute of your life
Your not funny.
jesus helps those that help themselves
Yeah, work hard then give the credit for your success to jesus. That makes sense.
I'm going into my senior year and I still really haven't planned anything yet. All you're facing is some typical teenage depression, you need to grow some balls and get over it. As much as there are many things that can help, the ultimatum is deciding that you're not going to be depressed anymore (unless you have a diagnosed condition, in which case you should be on happy pills). Just be thankful you aren't feeling this because of a relationship, it makes everything worse.
"You're dead. You say no to life and therefore you're not living" You should watch the movie Yes Man, and follow the example.
"you're dead. You say no to life and therefore you're not living" you should watch the movie yes man, and follow the example.
Exactly!!! And I know your fellings man. But don't give up. One day, you will see, that life is worth living.
While you were all arguing between yourself he went and threw himself off a building
You need to learn that you don't need to have a purpose in life. These people you say have "positive lives" are either blissfully ignorant and do what they think is expected of them, or smart enough to know that it is their decision what they do and do what they want. You're stuck in the middleground between these two extremes. You're not ignorant enough to simply conform to the identity given to you by others, but on the other hand you're not motivated enough to do what you want. You're current state is in fact a good sign. You've already established that you are not content with simply allowing others to define who you are, but in order to move on you'll have to take the next step and start doing what you really want to do. Basically things have slowed to a standstill and you need to do something to get things moving again. I find that the best way to do this is to be a bit impulsive for once. An example would be to pick a hobby you'd like to take up and go for it. Don't worry about doing well or not, because the point of this would not be to do well at something, it would be to get out of the stagnancy that you're in right now.
