I don't see why always everybody is afraid of blood. Blood really isn't anything and if you see it you should be careful and keep your senses up
It's not really that i'm afraid of it, it's just.. you get that eerie feeling and question why, in this case, there's blood in a toilet.
I don't see why always everybody is afraid of blood. Blood really isn't anything and if you see it you should be careful and keep your senses up
Blood spooks people in high quantities, because that means another living creature was heavily injured there, and if the blood is fresh, whoever or whatever did it could still be lurking the fuck around the place. BRS, Have you ever encountered a feral dog? It's really not a fun thing to have to deal with.
BRS, Have you ever encountered a feral dog? It's really not a fun thing to have to deal with.
every fucking time I am at my friends house he's always talks to me about that one fucking feral dog. and yes I have
When the place is supposedly haunted or mysterious to you and you hear scary ass noises. (doors opening, voices, coughing etc)
every fucking time I am at my friends house he's always talks to me about that one fucking feral dog. and yes I have
I had to trap one under a wooden crate once, while my friend figured out a way for us to get out :suicide:
I had to trap one under a wooden crate once, while my friend figured out a way for us to get out :suicide:
where did you guys go to?
where did you guys go to?
It was like this abandoned house out in fairfield. We managed to get the door open by ramming into the door with a shopping cart from a nearby kmart, and when we went into the basement there was a fucking dog. (We had to drop down from where a floor was collapsed, because we couldn't get the basement door open. Ended up having to do what i did last time i fell into a basement, except one of us had to trap the fucker under a box
We had to drop down from where a floor was collapsed, because we couldn't get the basement door open.
how the fuck you managed to keep silent hill's hospital holes out of your head before going down?
how the fuck you managed to keep silent hill's hospital holes out of your head before going down?
What do you mean hospital holes?
Me and my friend tried urban exploring once, although where we live I'd rather call it Rural Exploring. He told me this story about his uncle or something found all this jewelry and stuff in some broken down house. So we agreed after school to go to this broken down shack near a hunting club where I live. The only thing that really scared us was getting caught by some angry landowner so I had to keep look-out. Also it was dark and raining that day so that didn't really help. Sadly the house was too run down, and after my friend taking a look inside it we decided it wasn't worth it. Didn't really think we'd find anything in there anyway. Always thought of trying to do something like that again but I'm pretty busy nowadays... Guards
And then they accuse you of being gay and kick you out :D
They revised that. And even though they revised it I know half the kids in my troop would shun an openly gay person. Just the truth of things. Anyway while we're still on the subject of urbexing, anyone ever run into dead HUMAN bodies. Yeah I know most people would call the police and what-not but has anyone ran into a human body or the remains of one while urbexing?

But i had been kicked out four years before they did that. And yeah, sort of. I found a human skull in the bottom of a dried up well once. I tied a rope to this shed door and kind of lowered myself in to see if there were any weird coins down there.

Or a body was dumped there either way kinda creepy.
Well bottom of a well suggests some poor soul fell down it and couldn't get out. Or a body was dumped there either way kinda creepy.
The skull was pretty badly cracked lol
did you.. were the eye sockets intact?
did you.. were the eye sockets intact?
It was like a normal skull, like the kind you see as a decoration on halloween, but really badly cracked and it looked incredibly old. I went to move it and part of it just crumbled, so i quit moving it.
Signs of squatters/hobos, that shit will get me out of a building faster than anything.
Signs of squatters/hobos, that shit will get me out of a building faster than anything.
Especially considering almost all of them have knives.
When a rat gets the urge to scream as loud as its tiny lungs can handle.
Especially considering almost all of them have knives.
It gets even better when you run into a "tribe" of hobos in an abandoned hotel... and your friend offers them a machete as a truce...
It gets even better when you run into a "tribe" of hobos in an abandoned hotel... and your friend offers them a machete as a truce...
Pretty sure that's when you're supposed to run the fuck away
Pretty sure that's when you're supposed to run the fuck away
Only time I would be "offering" a tribe of (I'm guessing hostile) hobos a machete is when I offer to stab them with it if they get too close. Then you run
I know this is probably the wrong thread for this.. but does anyone know any places in the middle peninsula area of Virginia? There's the ruins of Rosewell, but it's more of a tourist attraction than a urbex place. And there is a abandoned Purina factory, but the owner has more security than the DMZ between North and South Korea :tinfoil: (like for real, i've read he has motion alarms, cameras, a shotgun, and barbed wire.) Any Suggestions? [editline]12th December 2013[/editline]
They did revise that. But i had been kicked out four years before they did that. And yeah, sort of.
I know this is probably the wrong thread for this.. but does anyone know any places in the middle peninsula area of Virginia?
Try driving around and looking for a place that looks abandoned. Or you could use google maps satellite view to look for buildings that appear abandoned. It's best to scope out an area before you go to it, and if it looks sketchy (Like a fucking meth lab) Don't go there. Or if the security is too tight. However, if you feel like risking it to get some good pictures of the place. Also, check out this thread for tips on how to do that: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1224609 Don't skip over AFewOstriches and Marfach's posts, because they bring up pretty valid points.
Cup of tea, still hot
This interests me, could you go in to more detail?
I just love when I find a large amount of dolls attached to a string with markings on the floor below.

Yeah I know most people would call the police and what-not but has anyone ran into a human body or the remains of one while urbexing?
This may be a late reply but oh well. Back in the summer of 2002 my brother and I went hiking in the Appalachian mountains. I, already have been urban exploring since 1995, my brother, 2000. We had come across an old scrapyard. From the looks of it, its been long since abandoned. We planned on exploring it when the sun went down. Until then, we had set up camp off in A nearby treeline. We synced our watches and planned to head out at 11pm. Around 9pm, we heard footsteps. REMINDER, we are in Buttfuck nowhere, Virginia. The footsteps of at least 4 different people. All of them seemed to be breathing heavily. Both of us scared we turned off our light, grabbed our rifles, and waited. They seemed to get closer to our tent. Safety off, forget Trigger discipline. We waited a moment thinking the mystery people were getting ready to kill us. LITERALLY tears rolling down my brothers face, the footsteps resume but they sound like they were getting further away. Relieved, we waited about thirty minutes and then resumed our normal activities waiting to go into the scrapyard. Finally we got out of our tent and dimmed the light, we headed into the yard, there was a one story building, no bigger than a gas station, [the office where you purchase stuff]. There was a wretched smell coming from inside the Building. We decided to split up. My morbid curiosity had drove me to climbing through an open window bringing me into the small building. My brother went exploring in the yard. It showed definite signs of recent use. This unnerved me. noticing something on the adjacent wall was a LARGE splatter of blood. I KNOW WHAT THAT SMELL IS NOW, Behind a counter connected to the wall was a body. I can actually remember what was going on. The body was putrefying in a puddle of blood and water. or just blood. I gathered my bro and managed to get a signal out where i was. I called the local authorities and led them here with a flare gun we brought in case of emergencies. They sent a few units over and removed the body from the premises. My brother and I were offered a ride the nearby town. We accepted the offer but requested that we go and pack up our camping equipment. We found our tent, but it was ransacked. Probably by those mystery people. I actually went back there in 2005 during daylight hours, and found a bullet casing. and some old photos of what appeared to be a man and a wife. these were next to the spot the body had laid and rot. ALSO,I believe I was nearly Murdered by a small cult.
