Exploders are nice. Is it AWD? Which motor?
Today marks the day I finally made it to a Formula 1 race. Sadly I was only able to catch like, 10 minutes of FP2, but I got to see a couple other cars out there. I'll actually get more photos and time the next two days

I seriously considered getting tickets for either SAT+SUN or just SUN, but I decided to be my own F1 driver and attend a trackday in Canaan, NH Instead. It's basically on the way there, perhaps just under half the distance between where I live in southern NH and Montreal.
See if you can get some videos and pics of the Master's Historic race, All I've ever seen are their FB pics. I don't really get how they race vastly different F1 cars from different decades. But it seems so awesome.
Also do they run both Ferrari Challenge and Porsche Cup races as support series?

Could always go ebay

I've always been worried I might end up getting fucked over with a shitty exhaust though. Are there any brands I should definitely avoid?
I want to punch a past owner of my car in the nose as they did a REAL BAD JOB ON REPAIRING / REMOVING RUST !!
They just looked like small spots but noooooooooo, its all small pieces of rust held together by glue(?) and paint. it could have been an easy fix, but because of neglect it will take much more work :(
Quick fixers and people who just want to get rid of their old cars tend to do that very thing. Fix it enough so it looks good and not care if it fails later because it's no longer their problem.
I have a few stories about prior owner fuckups, but they tend to be quite long stories. I tend to ramble.
I just found and bought a replica STW (E36 Supertouring) front bumper

Might not be everyone's taste but I REALLY like it!

You realise that picture is not my car right? That's an original STW. I just wanted to show what the bumper looks like.
I wish mine looked as good haha
[editline]10th June 2017[/editline]
HOWEVER,
I just finished painting the front parts. And I'll be getting the bumper pretty soon. So actually...it should look identical to the picture..minus the decals (which i might even put on!)

These STW cars have some sick fucking stance

~250 miles in Florida sun over the course of 8 hours in stop-and-go tourist traffic on a crotch rocket.
everything hurts why did i do this to myself

Interestingly. I survived 7 hours of traffic over the course of 420 miles today for a work-related picnic in Maryland. Only got sunburnt on one arm, and my car successfully managed to drive up and back and not break something. And I got decent gas mileage, too, which is amazing to me.

Man, that's a beautiful motorcycle.
Exposed clutch and timing belts? I mean it looks cool as hell, but Id be paranoid as hell of something getting caught in them.
Just don't dump it. Or run into anything.
I wanna hear that bike run.
went drifting today, it was exactly what the internet made it out to be. straight pipe, stickers, and vape. it was a great time. drove a stock 240 that got pulled by a 1.6 miata but it had no problem getting sideways! would definitely recommend.

I got my C20 out today, and its definitely down on power. Im gonna take the carb off tomorrow and clean it out, its probably a little gummed up seeing s most of what it does is sit in a shed.

Bam. Built the head on the Daytona.
Chrysler 3.3L Valvesprings
Chrysler PT Cruiser lifters
GM LS1 valve spring retainers
GM LS1 valve seals
1994 cast valve cover
Fel-Pro headgasket
New EGR system
New belts for everything
Re-ran all the vacuum lines
Timing is dead on
Going to be sweet. Hope the head doesn't blow apart. I ball parked the spring heights and shit. :v:
Great news everyone, I painted the front of the car. Hurray!

For those who don't get it...it's a completely different version of the color I have. I just painted the front of the car in the wrong fucking color.
There's a bunch of different versions of the Alpin Weiss color I have, ranging from like 1985 to 2017. The older versions are more yellow and faded. Like I have, but they gave me the wrong one. Which is way more white. In daylight the difference is pretty noticeable.
And all I did was order the exact same paint, I even referred to my old invoice to show them EXACTLY what I needed.
How is it that someone like you with such a good work ethic who just gets out and gets it done runs into so many goofy problems like this, but when I eventually get off my ass and work after 6 months of procrastinating and half-ass even that everything just works fine?
That doesn't seem fair at all :v:
Effort is overrated. Aspire for mediocrity

A WET Laguna Seca? When the hell does that ever happen???
Also I just did my 2nd trackday yesterday in lovely 90° heat, at a little spot called Canaan Motor Club (NW NH). Twas a fun day!
That Green FRS in the background; I rode shotgun in it and got to feel what a control arm bolt snapping mid corner feels like!

Video of my first lapping session at Laguna Seca. Poor visibility and a general unfamiliarity with the track (aside from practice in Forza) made it look pretty damn sloppy...

The hiccups in the video are where I was stitching together my dash cam clips.
Always wondered what that track would be like first hand. Looks more complex then what GT made it out to be.
