I didn't like how the body line was so I rebuilt that And then I did a little more filler work on some misc low spots and set up for more primer tonight.. Emptied out my primer supplies. Hopefully that'll be the end of that chapter.. back to blocking and then it'll be paint time before we know it!
Need some car repair advice. My 2000 Nissan Sentra started vibrating wildly yesterday when I started it. At closer to idle speeds, the shaking is pretty severe. At higher speeds on the road, it's not really an issue. There's a good bit of power loss. First guess: Bad spark plugs. I replaced all four today, but I'm still having the same issue. What do you guys think it might be?
Well if nissan 4s are anything like the VQ35DE V6 start with: Cam pos sensor crank pos sensor injectors ignition coils (not your spark plugs, also use OEM only sparks) EGR if you have one MAF and more! Mine misfired quite a bit but for me it was just cam sensors and an ignition coil on cyl4 edit: also, the 5th gen maxima (my car) has a funky ritual you can do to get the CEL to flash your codes at you and the sentra may have one too, if you don't have a reader or can't be arsed to go to a shop that does it free.
flat plane crank LS powered kadett the camera angles are shit though. make it look like it's doing 20 mph.
Goddamn that sounds amazing. Reminds me of Gurney's 'cuda for some reason. Reworking all the timing and ECU to accept the new crank must've been fun
@clutch2 I'd fill in that lower body line, its doesn't contribute too much to the car and I think it'd look much cleaner with it filled, then it'll be look pretty smooth too
Fuck I want this. Ex police low km low price but terrible fuel mileage. Idk why I have an urge for the Excurse so bad
Smiles per gallon though... If that's a diesel you better get it. It gets food fuel economy, for what it is.

We used to have a diesel Excursion, thing was massive inside and out. Barely fit in our garage, but it could comfortable fit like 10 people.
An Excursion is basically an RV without the house part. I love them, the rear door so are so awesome.
Check the entire ignition, not just the plugs
Exactly.
Figured I might as well throw a picture up of the current state of the MR2. [t]http://i.imgur.com/e9bP3Bj.jpg[/t] Just waiting for all the necessary brake parts to ship then thats the next thing to do.
my volvo had an issue where sometimes the gas pedal wouldn't respond correctly, I took it to the dealer, and they said they just tightened the electrical connections on the whole throttle system, but ever since the response on my throttle seems less energetic, like i have to push it further towards the floor to get it to accelerate than I did previously. I liked the quick response it used to have :( Is this something adjustable by someone who has zero knowledge of vehicular electrics?
Year, car, engine? Check for vacuum leaks, clean the throttle body, and if it's an electric throttle body, unhook your battery for 20 mins and see if it feels different.
Are those all things I could safely do myself if I google how to do it? I can certainly unhook the battery, but is there any risk associated with doing either of those other two things with no knowledge beyond a google? [editline]asdf[/editline] check the year and engine, it's an S40
Oh yea. Easily. I basically learned everything from Youtube. They have a video for everything.
Unhook the NEGATIVE on the battery first. When you put it back on, put on the negative last.
alternatively you can ignore this advice and make fun sparks
alternatively you can ignore this advice and make fun sparks
or be like me and hook up your multimeter to your battery to check voltage using the 250 mA side. it still smells like burnt electronics

Regular Car Reviews' new car is an '88 AW11 MR2.
I really want new pipes for my xv250, but there is only one after market company making any, and theyre over 400 dollars. I can't justify that for a small bike like this. What should I do? Stock pipes make it sound like anangry sewing machine. I considered drilling Intl the baffles from the rear.

American muscle car in what looks like europe (I know its not but it has very euro style buildings), one taillight, and blue lights on a civilian car.
Oh my god, I just had mcdonalds delivered to my door through uber. What kind of world is this?
So I'm going to The Twisted Sisters road (http://www.ridetexas.com/the-twisted-sisters/) this weekend with a group of other Fiats. I'm lucky enough to have someone loan me their GoPro, so hopefully I can record the whole thing. I still can't decide on what resolution to record at... (1080p60 at least) Any advice on recording?
Such a great song, such a sad scene.
That scene as a kid used to piss me off so bad. I always thought "THEY'RE ALIVE YOU IDIOT, WHY ARE YOU KILLING THEM?!" Quality songs like that are rare as hell these days, and this movie if you can recall any of it was just shy of not being a kids movie with the themes it has.
Looks like its time for an oil and filter change. My car does this weird thing once the oil gets old. You will drive it around the city and its fine however once you hit the highway for a few kilometers and stop as soon as you start idling the oil pressure light turns on. I think this year I will try a filter with a higher mileage rating. Fort he alst few I've been running over 15000km annually with a filter rated for 10000km.
