Soooo, how hard would it be to repaint some of my interior? I'm tired of beige

As long as you use a quality paint like SEM then follow and use all of the prep procedures and products it can turn out pretty good. If you don't, it's going to be a disgusting ricer nightmare resulting in ruined interior parts.

As far as your carpets, those you can use large trash cans or 55 gallon drums to dye them black with extremely hot water. Some people also use kiddie pools to do this. That usually turns out extremely well and if you have a dirty/dingy grey carpet but is still in good shape.
Seats though, I wouldn't attempt to paint or dye those. God help you if you ever wear something you even care remotely about and sit in them. Someone more versed in upholstery might have a differing opinion though.
Just get seat covers
I attempted to spray dye fabric seats one time. Never again. Leather or vinyl is easier. Just disassemble the interior and clean all the armor all and geease off everything thoroughly then get a flexible primer to put on the pieces and then paint. The carpet dye works, or you can ttpically buy new carpets for most cars for $100-$150 on ebay.

was pretty fun to drive.
The exhaust hurt my head though.
Is that one of them fancy V6 models?
Is that one of them fancy V6 models?
The 86 doesn't have a v6 model, if it did then it would be the GOAT. I think that's just a normal 86 with new wheels and an STi wing on the back. Judging by the exhaust comment it probably also has the invidia(sp?) catback, that thing drones like an mf
A flat 6 would be pretty sick, and it'd fix it's power problem

Haha, oh shit. My bad. I didn't click on the picture. I thought that was riced Hyundai Tiburian.

A year or two ago my sister and some high schooler had a collision that knocked my hood slightly out of place (still latches) but it's always kinda driven me up the wall. The hood just sits a bit crooked horizontally.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/m6P3kOB.png[/t]
What could I do to try and make it sit straighter? The car is totaled so it's not really worth extensive repairs. Will taking the hood off and tapping the hinges slightly with a hammer work or is this a lost cause?

Hood hinges are adjustable, you just loosen the two 10mm bolts that attaches it to the hinge and slide it forward/backward. Side to side though, you'll have to bend the hinges.
Alright, I'll take a whack at it tomorrow
I just spent $320 on road america tickets :blaze:

It's stock :v:
Not nearly as fast as my boss' cosworth, but pretty damn fast.
I'm so stoked today. I bought that '81 Honda CM400 earlier this year.. hadn't run in 8 years the guy said. I cleaned the carbs, replaced some perished rubber bits, put on new throttle cables, cleaned the rust out of the tank, replaced the petcock.. and today I fired it up! Back to life for the first time in 8 years, felt really good. Adjusted idle and it just ticks away. I can't wait to do a little more work on it and get it road worthy. Its so light and nice it may end up being the favorite bike.....
The '75 XS650 is getting there, too. Carbs cleaned, float replaced, new plugs, some tuning, and it finally seems to be hitting its stride. I put on about 10 miles buzzing around town and its driving 'pretty good'.
PLUS I bought back my old '78 XS750 from the guy I sold it to.. he was having money troubles. Sheesh. It has a broken kick starter, so I have a little bit or work to do there, but having all three of these classics on the streets seems very doable! A winter of puttering with them and maybe they'll be nice!
But the Celica project it priority #1 right now! I decided there were enough spots where I sanded through to the epoxy primer, or even the metal, that I wanted a uniform nice coat to just seal it all up, so I shot another round of primer today. I used the good gun so the orange peel was minimal and now all that should be left is to cut it up to about 800 grit.
This most recent coat was looking so nice and satin. I'm getting excited.

Someone lent me a spare AFM to test, and that was the mystery fix.
Cool.
Installed the windshield and a floor plate. Also cleaned up the wiring, and just need to bundle it together and tuck it away when I'm sure it's all done.
