This is only like the 3rd pic of my new vehicle.
How much extra horsepower you think that NOS sticker added? I wager at least one Honda engines worth.
How much extra horsepower you think that NOS sticker added? I wager at least one Honda engines worth.
I don't see any speed holes. If you wanna go faster, you need speed holes.
I swear it wasn't me
Liar, i know these things
I don't see any speed holes. If you wanna go faster, you need speed holes.
Nah dude, it's the flame decals that you need. Everyone knows flame decals double your horsepower
Hehehe That's 9.9 lbs for you americans
So. Do I keep the camper shell on the truck, or take it off? I mean, I can't tow anything with this little thing, so I may as well have access to what makes this truck a truck. Opinions? It's just simply bolted onto the bed by about a dozen half-inch bolts. Not like it's hard to take off and put back on for long journeys.
May as well, then it'll feel like it gained 100hp! If its not that hard, not like it always has to be on
Eh. I'd generally go for having it off unless you need it for one reason or another. Nice to be able to just chuck shit in without having to flip down the tailg8.
depending on the truck, you might get up to 2 mpg less with the capmer shell off. squareodynamics and stuff

Gotta get them weight reduction bruh
What's this material called?
Can't see exactly but it looks like bed liner. (Line-x,Rhino Lining)
Might wanna check this out: Skip to 7:45 to see how it drives Its a fully build concept car by Audi itself: Audi TT RS Clubsport Turbo. Sounds really amazing and probably has a lot of horses for a 5 cylinder engine
Looks and sounds similair to a local car for sale http://www.raceautotekoop.nl/overzicht/detail.php?id=2894
i don't even like how the older TTs look, to the point where i wouldn't want to own one regardless of capability. but that looks fucking mean
What's this material called?
ABS plastic. Super common material for doing custom audio installations or making nice looking control panels.
ABS plastic. Super common material for doing custom audio installations or making nice looking control panels.
Thanks! That's what I was looking for yea.
How wil I ever obtain (and maintain) a E9 if half of the stock is over in the US >:(
ITS NOT BED LINER!? FUUUUUUK I want my lemonade back!
Good progress today! And I learned something new. I finished the bottom of the rotten door.. all seam sealed up, door skin folded over, and I used some body epoxy in the middle where the door skin fold over bit was chopped out. It's a lot of seam sealer.. oh well. Bought a hammer and dolly set from the Harbor Freight.. Love it so far. No more claw hammer and brick when I'm shaping metal bits. Seems to make this panel beating business much easier. Somewhat straightened out.. the big thing is now the bondo will be 1/8" thick instead of like freaking 1/2" Then it was on to the door skin. The entire bottom was bondo and I was interested to see what was beneath that. Good thing, it was A LOT. Like I probably grinded off half a gallon of the stuff, and some of it was delaminating underneath. Dodged bullet. It's a super interesting bit of damage. Passenger side, like the rear quarter panel. It starts as a deep wrinkle dent at the back bottom then there's a perfectly straight line dent that you can see, and it actually carries over into the front passenger fender, too (I hammered that out already). Wonder what it hit? And I wonder what idiot thought it was OK to use that much bondo. So how I said I didn't have a slide hammer? I said screw it and went and bought one .. another Harbor freight special. Then I bought some raw steel nails and got to work. Probably hard to tell but now instead of a massive hole the panel is just wrinkly. Much happier with this.. the amount of filler this will need is probably about 1/4 the amount that was on there before. Iced it and called it a night.. you can see the wrinkles near the back since this is just the first (of many.. I'm sure) coat. Filler went on smooth on the fender when I hammered it, too. Looking promising. My PUI's usually consist of dumb engine swap ideas. Like the LSx powered Civic a couple threads back.
my pui posts are pretty normal because most of my posts are pui
If my computer had a breathalyzer on it that stopped me posting on facepunch, id only have about 2/3 my current post count.
