When my parents had their free years of Sirius in their cars, I would basically only listen to 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, or 80's, on their respective single digit channels. And also BB King's Bluesville. That was the best station.
I've been enjoying about half the stuff on the new Guns N Roses channel.
First Wave channel 33 is my go-to.
I'd love to have Sirious XM, but living the poor life. Stuck with 4-5 top 40 stations, 2-3 80's that play the same top 40 80's on repeat, and one decent country station in another state that i can only get at night.
Finally going to take a crack and replacing the burnt out front door weatherstrips on my car, on the cheap. Gonna get creative with some silicone sealant and black peelable coating. Will post results later.
silicone does not hold up in any kind of sunlight whatsoever just so ya know.
I just use Spotify or di.fm :v:. I've seen Sirius XM, but I never really saw much of the appeal to be honest.
Company pays for it and blasts it over the intercom throughout the warehouse. At the end of the night after all the pickers leave I just put headphones in. :v:
silicone does not hold up in any kind of sunlight whatsoever just so ya know.
Can you link me to what you mean because when I searched for this I got the exact opposite statements Also, if I'm covering it up with a thick layer of rubber, will that help? I don't plan for any silicone to be visible

Bought my first car last week. I chose this one because I've never seen a car/truck combo like this before and thought it was neat. Plus I couldn't decide if I wanted a car or truck. :v: Subaru Baja 2003, if anyone's wondering.
Nice, what did you get it for? Im thinkin I would kinda like one of them as my next car in a few years
Nice, what did you get it for?
Hopefully getting my license soon, so I'd like to have my own car for convenience. Plus I always feel bad when I have to borrow someone else's.
Got in my car to drive home from work and the damn abs light was on. Scared me because I replaced that stuff two months ago. Thankfully it was just moisture from the humidity and the light turned off at the first stoplight
Hopefully getting my license soon, so I'd like to have my own car for convenience. Plus I always feel bad when I have to borrow someone else's.
P. sure he meant the price.
fuck saab for not using a standard double (or single) din size for its head unit. It's the only thing I dislike about them because I have to spend an extra $70 to get a kit to make a double din head unit fit.
A Saab with weird nonstandard parts, huh? :v:

Love them, but people charge a premium for them even with high miles here. What kind of price did you pay? I'm pretty much a shadetree Subaru mechanic. If you have any questions about it, i should be able to help, or at least point you in the right direction.
Yeah those things are excellent. Useful, fun, and respected by enthusiasts!
Have you guys ever seen a Mercedes w124 wagon limousine? My uncle's got one apparently, at my grandad's house: [t]https://puu.sh/wX1cv.png[/t] Really tight spot so that's the best pic I could get pretty much [editline]30th July 2017[/editline] Here's another one actually:

They're like $20 on Ebay.
If you're paying $70 for that extra plastic fascia then you're getting ripped off.
P. sure he meant the price.
Oh whoops, then I'm fucking retarded. :v: It was listed around $4500 but managed to negotiate it down to $3800.
Oh whoops, then I'm fucking retarded. :v: It was listed around $4500 but managed to negotiate it down to $3800.
How many miles? Just looking at how clean it is though, I'd say 3,800 was a god damn STEAL for that. Excellent find.
About 239k. Despite that, the car's in very good condition with minimal wear and tear on the outside. I won't lie, I honestly didn't think the dealer was gonna' let me get away with that price.
Hopefully getting my license soon, so I'd like to have my own car for convenience. Id be interested to see how it holds up, if i ever get one, itll probably have the same or more miles on the clock.

I won't lie, I honestly didn't think the dealer was gonna' let me get away with that price.
That's in very good condition for the miles. It amazes me how much the Baja goes for. My SUS, which was produced in about half the numbers of the Baja, I paid $2300 for with 106k miles. At the moment, I'm trying to buy an '08 Forester with 195k miles for $1,000.
Love them, but people charge a premium for them even with high miles here.
Why? They rare or something?
Both rare and coveted by the Subaru enthusiast community. You'll rarely find any below the 7K mark here, if at all. Bajas in particular have a cult following of their own. I think the stock one on the 07 sounds great, but the lack of Bluetooth is kind of lame. Don't you basically have to re-wire the whole thing? (+ I remember reading something about them using fiber optic connections on everything up until about 06)
Yeah the sound quality is really good but the fact that I can only use cds or casettes with it kills me
Fuck deer Coulda been way worse though edit: hwoops, fucked up posting the image [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/YF5E1ij.jpg[/thumb]

That's when they switched over to a 2DIN GM unit, which is the one in your 2007 9-5. The headunits in the 9-5 before 2006 uses regular ISO-connectors and as such just require an adapter you get with most headunits. Well, except for the AS2/AS3 (identifiable by the casette player), which have an external amplifier which will probably fry if you just hook it up as regular.
