Why? They rare or something?
They're one of the rarer ones, though it's mostly because it's such a unique Subaru.
They were made from 03-06, so it was a fairly short run.
Things like the SVX, 2.5RS, SUS, etc. Are rarer, though not as unique.
Still stuck on this mustang. Anyone care to explain what kinda motor and stuff ?
It's a 4.6l 4v DOHC Modular V8 with an intercooled twin-scroll positive displacement supercharger from Kenne Bell in place of the regular Eaton M112 Cobra supercharger.

being the resident gm shill I hate to say it but the new edge cobras are really growing on me. I used to absolutely hate the way they looked.
I always liked new edge Mustangs, probably because my dad bought a brand new Cobra when I was growing up and it imprinted on me.
Well today I learned my Magna's radiator fan wasn't working in a borderline catastrophic way. I was doing some city driving and noticed the temperature gauge climbing super high so I pulled off and let it cool down for a minute. Whenever I started it back up the clutch was totally squishy and I couldn't get it to shift. I guess the borderline overheating caused something to temporarily malfunction with my clutch, because when I came back from eating everything worked fine, except the fan. So, I decided to ride my bike like it was air-cooled. Which is to say that I got it out on the highway and 120'd it the whole way back to my house. Discovered that the fuse had blown and after a replacement everything works fine.
Hydraulic clutch?
if yes, then your clutch fluid have been boiling.

Yep! That's exactly what it was. In the next week or so I'm going to be replacing every fluid in this thing. Already took care of the breaks.
The NG9-3 used optics on the stereo up until 06-ish. That's when they switched over to a 2DIN GM unit, which is the one in your 2007 9-5. The headunits in the 9-5 before 2006 uses regular ISO-connectors and as such just require an adapter you get with most headunits. Well, except for the AS2/AS3 (identifiable by the casette player), which have an external amplifier which will probably fry if you just hook it up as regular.
[editline]30th July 2017[/editline]
I assume you know how to wire your headunit if it the stock one has a cassette player?
My dad does so ye
[editline]31st July 2017[/editline]
You could always use a cassette adapter. I used one in my 99 Legacy for four years and it worked great. They're cheap to find (unless you opt to get a Bluetooth one, which honestly isn't really a bad investment) and it's pretty easy to take them apart and gut the internals if they don't play nice with auto-reverse. The stock one in the 07 has an aux jack though, so it nullifies my need to ever change the unit out unless it breaks.
I noticed the form factor looked a bit familiar. Good to know!
I've got a cassette adapter but I'm not too much of a fan, I prefer being able to control it via head unit rather than phone, especially with how much police watch out for people using phones while driving
Gotta drive a range rover on an obstacle course today and then a jaguar xe sedan and an F type r on an autocross track.
The f type was fast as fuck
Put my white fairing set on the duc, it was a big pain in the dickhole because the bike kept cannibalizing itself by sucking fairing bolts into it like a black hole. Finally got it and only lost one bolt, but luckily a local hardware store had a damn near identical one that works perfect. White tail cowl needs to be hit with goo gone, but I dunno, the red is growing on me.

Spent almost 12 hours detailing today.
Fuck am I sore.
I noticed if I spend extended periods of time from posting more random s post in here....
Fuck yes scored a E36 limited slip diff for 300 bucks.
They usually go for 1000-1500 usd here :v:
Rust-Oleum paint progress update:
Used the hood as a test panel today.
Polished and hit with wax.
Admittedly a little hazy in areas that I missed some sanding on but on the whole, I'm very happy with this compared to what it used to be like.

Looks a bit like an autocross to me. A really good autocross, but definitely not proper track speeds.
I feel like you've posted videos from going there before. Can't recall if that was just earlier this year or sometime last year.
I need to find a way to modify the exhaust of my 1986 Magna VF700c so it's four the whole way back. I don't want to get rid of the collector, but I do want four pipes back.

Making A LOT of progress on the racecar. It's really starting to get together now, All I need is some polyester bodyparts and it's practically done.
Here's a sneak peak with shitty broken camera pics because that's all I have. Gonna post a proper update later

Will put up proper DSLR pictures and a overview sometime this week.
So do you tow that to track or is it legal on the road there?
Got a trailer for it, can't drive it on the road.

did a bunch of maintenance as 30k miles is coming up. engine oil, supercharger oil, trans fluid, diff fluid, and air filter. took a little video afterwards!
had it for about a year now. has seen about 8 or so autox events, ~40 passes down the 1/4, driven year round through rain and snow.. hopefully i can retire it from DD duty before next winter but it's done well so far on a stock engine and drivetrain.
