the only thing that would stop me is the words "EPA" on the side [editline]4th March 2017[/editline]
was he trying to cover the license plate in one of the pics?
thats not exactly uncommon
was he trying to cover the license plate in one of the pics?
I've learned to stop picking fights about that long ago People think joe citizen can find out where you live, what beer your drink, and what sexual fetishes you have from your license plate But yeah, literally no identifying information about the car in the article? Fuckin' pass [editline]4th March 2017[/editline]
the only thing that would stop me is the words "EPA" on the side
Double stops me because EPA is gang shit here in the bay Can likely just heatgun it off but I worry more about the seller, because grandpa definitely did not roll around reppin' the nortes

Fuckin' pass
I censor my license plates unless I'm selling the car, since in Norway you can literally find out who people are and where they live by the license plate. But if you're selling and censor the license plate, aren't you just trying to make sure people can't look it up?
If I post on /o/ I block plates. If I post here or on CL I don't. It's how your k:d ratio is with wizards.
But if you're selling and censor the license plate, aren't you just trying to make sure people can't look it up?
That's certainly the vibe I'm getting. If you're not up front about any info regarding the car you're selling, then you're hiding something. Which begs for lowballing.
I don't hide my plates, but I only post my cars here, so. If it was /o/ or something I'd hide em, but I only post in /ofg/ there so dart isn't really relevant.
i posted my car with plates on /o/ and it was stolen 52 minutes and 23 seconds later
what kind of board is /o/?
Oh boy the alcohol talk. Right, well imo the best dirt cheap beer is icehouse, its bland and boring but it doesnt try to be anything more that that. The perfect normal class domestic is coors golden banquet, the best slightly fancier beer is budweiser black crown. Corona is my favorite import. My favorite type of craft beer is either red ale or really really dark beers. Speaking of dark beers, theres a brewery called epic in SLC that makes one called the big bad baptist. Tastes like dirt in a good way, I love it. IPA tastes like fermented dog shit. As for liquor, Rum is king. Kraken is best straight shooting liquor, basically any spiced rum goes fine in a rum and coke, which I used to drink a lot of, but Im kinda giving them a break lately. Crown apple mixes good with damn near anything, especially monster. Best mixed shot is baileys and cream soda, but you gotta drink it quick and dont mix it up or it starts to curdle like a concrete mixer.
what kind of board is /o/?
automotive on 4chan. it's okay.
Corona is great if you're into eating skunk butte. All Mexican beer is like that. Build the wall. Tequila is good as heck tho. We can give that a visa. [editline]4th March 2017[/editline]
what kind of board is /o/?
Cara board on 4chan. It's generally scum outside of the generals, but those generals are pretty gud. They have regular VIN chec threads, decent guide on buying a first car, probably one of the better corners of XChan
the generals are what created the scum, it was a fun board until every other thread became a general. they are to blame.
Alcohol wise: I'm fairly boring. I do Jim Beam on the rocks, or bourbon manhattan on the rocks, mostly. Beer wise I'm just a Coors Light fan. A friend of mine co-owns Chaos Mountain Brewery which is local to me, so if I have to do a craft beer, I'll usually do one of theirs; though I generally hate craft beers. As always, don't drink and drive AA, because... duh...? And weird question related to coolant. Is it a warning sign of issues if at about 40° outside the coolant in my truck will drop from running temp to C within about 5 mins, and then take the same amount of time to warm back up as usual (about fifteen minutes of light driving)? I've noticed it does that a lot in my truck, but the levels are normal and everything feels fine.
Does it cool from running to cold while the engine is off? Assuming 40F? Wouldn't really worry about it, but if it's been a while since your coolant was replaced it wouldn't hurt to replace it.
coolant doesn't really..... wear out.... it will just get contaminated.
coolant doesn't really..... wear out.... it will just get contaminated.
The anti-corrosive additives can. Which is the no. 1 cause for a leaky heater.
Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I brewed some mead about a year and a half ago and it just sits in my closet, getting better each time a taste it. Turned out surprisingly good for how ghetto the setup was.
http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/2001-custom-PT-Cruiser_29009407.lite Lol
If you toss a turbo on it you'll be able to keep up with bicyclists at least, so there's a positive to it
I have never had mead. I need to pick up a quality bottle eventually, if I can even find it.
Its pretty expensive stuff, a 24oz bottle of pretty decent stuff runs about 8-10 bucks here. Its a bit cheaper to make yourself, but at the end of the day, honey costs money. Unless you know a guy with bees. I need a friend with bees. I did find some cheaper stuff at the medieval festival last year, but it tasted like my homemade stuff did when it was only halfway done. A little rotten, but not too bad. Maybe the shitty mead was part of the medieval experience.
I have a bottle of homemade mead sitting in my liquor cabinet, actually. A friend of my family professionally makes it. It's phenomenal stuff. It cools with the block off if I run inside a coffee store and get a cup of coffee, by the time I walk out it's already at C and takes it a good while to get back to running. And yes, I mean 40F ambient temps.
Yeah, it'd be nice to have family that makes decent booze. But, besides my one uncles wine, the only other person is my addict uncle who makes moonshine. It is absolute swill (as it should be, I guess) fit for like, really rowdy christmas parties and cleaning surgical tools, exclusively. :v:
I don't believe I've ever seen it at the ABC stores in Virginia, so I dunno if canuckland would have it. I'd imagine the more north you go the more expensive it gets.
Oh, hey, I keep forgetting your in VA, too. You can usually find some OK meads at Kroger (at least in Roanoke). It's just sold as a wine in the wine sections.
I've got some hard cider brewing in my room since October. Should probs do something about that. And I've decided to put off looking at cars for a while. I want to move out of my parents pretty much asap. Which means no garage most likely, so no place to store/work on a project car. It'd be nice to have a project car to wrench on, but I'm going to go insane if I stay any longer.
New power steering pump installed and flushed, went to bleed it aaaaaaaaand it leaks out the front. Wasted a good amount of time really. Now I have to decide to take it all apart or to use some shit stop leak in it

I have a couple cars on cl bookmarked that I'd like to wrench on with my dad, but considering I'm probably on my way out of here semi soon itd be unfair to take up another spot in the yard. :v; [editline]4th March 2017[/editline]
Oh, hey, I keep forgetting your in VA, too. Running by wegmans tomorrow anyways, maybe they carry some.
On topic of booze, I've never drank in my life, not a drop, split between personal/family reasons and not wanting to rely on alcohol to have a good time or converse confidently. (21 by the way) Ironically I teethed on beer cans while I rolled around in a fisher price car when I was a wee gaffer. Never done any sort of drugs or smoked insurprisingly, I have taken some gnarly pre-workout combinations that should be illegal though :v:

Hoping for better luck on number 2
