I'm actually running with power steering! Racing is tiring enough as it is, it's very true that you have much better feel of the car, especially when driving on the limit of your tracktion. You can really feel how much grip you have. [editline]17th August 2017[/editline] People of AA please help me decide. I need to pick a front bumper but can't choose. late stage Supertouring bumper Late stage supertouring bumper but with rounded foglight holes suited for brakedisc cooling Mostly standaard M3 bumper, kind of boring. But it's 100 euro's more then the other ones (and money is tight) Second choice would be Agree
I'd like to say thanks to Scientwist, and everybody who gave me advice a while back! Here's the Honda at the moment. It's pretty beat, with the worst parts probably being the ruined clear coat, and seats that look as if somebody took a knife to them. Anyways, I decided to pull the valve cover off today, I've succeeded, but wait is it normal to smear that much RTV onto something like this? :s: There was a gasket sandwiched in-between all of this, and the job seemed to have been done pretty messy

Not sure if you cleaned the inside of your valve cover, but I don't see caked on oil and sludge so that's a good sign. I suggest replacing the gasket with new unless cash is tight then permatex right stuff will seal that beasty right back up. Also, glad I could be of help. I hope everything comes out better then good.
HD is adding their bikes to the crew 2. Starting with an iron 883 and street glide special.

It just goes everywhere.
RTV is amazing. Remember different colors do different things. Scrape off that old stuff and do the same thing the previous owner did, it ain't gonna hurt anything except if you put too much it could goop into the motor....but let's not think of that shall we. I also wish the shit came in caulk gun tubes so you can lay some beautiful beads instead of that tube shit were if your too abusive you blow out the back of the metal tube.
My grandparents have a Suzuki Alto from 2010 and there's a small chance I could take it over from them once they're no longer in a fit state to drive. In those 7 years it only has 22,000km on the odometer and as far as I know it literally never had problems before, with the exception that the engine is 'lazy' and takes somewhat longer to start than my dad's 406. How bad of an idea would it be to take this car as my first vehicle after I get my driver's license? Surely it doesn't pack a lot of punch for it being a 3 cylinder 1.0 engine but I noticed yesterday that it's actually pretty snappy, and after all it still looks good. [t]https://i.imgur.com/UfWv05C.jpg[/t]
Small, cheap (both to buy and to run), slow shitboxes are literally the best first cars. Easy to park, easy to drive, you don't give as much of a fuck if its scratched or whatever, and bonus points is how (for me anyway) it kinda feels like you're going faster even if you're at average speeds since you're pushing the engine more. Especially if the car is old, then you'll really feel like you're going fast if the deathtrap is rattling and making lots of noise :v: [editline]18th August 2017[/editline]
[t] https://i.imgur.com/H1Qmf2E.jpg[/t] All fixed at no cost to me! It looks better than it did when I bought it.
What was wrong with it?
AA has voted, it will be the late stage supertouring bumper. I've just ordered it. It's pretty plain, but adding a big splitter completely changes the looks. Reference picture from a real Supertouring car
What's the signal of choice for "please get off my ass"
Middle finger
What's the signal of choice for "please get off my ass"
Slam on your brakes as hard as you can and see if their insurance is stronger than their brakes.
Would it be weird, to ask Garry Newman if he's interested in sponsoring a Facepunch racecar? I was just thinking about putting a red facepunch logo on my all white car for fun when I thought of it. Now this might come off a bit strange, but I've been racing for quite a while now. whilst also being the youngest driver in my class, I'm probably also the only one without actual sponsors. Granted, there are a lot of drivers who run a company and advertise themselves. It just struck me as kinda odd that I've been building a new racecar and have been blogging it on a Garry's Mod forum :v: I'm hesitant because I've never even approached anyone about sponsoring me. What do you guys think?

That would be fucking sick. Trim the car out in red, big FP logo on the hood, or maybe more subtle than that, FP logo on a light cover?
The worst he can say is no! I suspect if you dont ask for anything ridiculous he'd at least listen and any money is better than none right?
If I were to actually do it, I'd just offer to put a massive decal on the car and leave it up to him. I mean I'm racing on next to nothing here, anything is helpful really.
a facepunch studios car would be cool as hell. Go for it.
That would be fucking sick. You might wait until the car is built and you've run a couple races in it so you can show him both the finished product and your actual performance. Mock up the Facepunch livery and include the concept with some pictures/specs on the car, your race results, and a video of you driving it. I feel like Garry would go for it, but I'd try to let him suggest an amount if he's interested in sponsoring you rather than asking for an amount outright. Even if he "only" pays for your slicks, that takes a tremendous load off of you for racing.
I mean, even if he isn't open to actually sponsoring you and giving you money, I can't think of any reason he would have to deny you the allowance to just use the logo or name on your car, as long as you were being respectful about it. It's so bizarre that you asked that because when you posted about the bumper earlier I was on the treadmill at the gym and I was thinking about you putting some kind of reference to FPAA on your car :v:

The car still needs finishing, and a lot of testing before it's capable of winning any races. I've though the same thing with my older green race car "I'll wait till I got some proven results". But I never did. This is my best race yet, started 6th, dropped back to 16th in the first corner. Ended 2nd place. Since that race (quite a while ago already) I've grown quite a lot. The decals on my older car are from the family business. Which doesn't pay anything :v:
Boy that fucker sure tried to pit you at 1:10. What was he thinking??? Anyway yeah, I dunno. I'm just trying to think from Garry's perspective and to do that I'm thinking like my own boss, who would be reluctant to sponsor a car that hasn't won anything yet.

Check out 14:50 ---- But yeah you're right. He's running a business after all, why "give" money so something that probably wouldn't earn him anything. However you gotta agree, as a gaming company it would be hella cool to have a racecar with your livery. That and it's not like I'm a random person, I actually have something with Facepunch. I've been on this site for the better part of my adult life. It's been part of my daily routine by now. ---- Nah it's not accepted, or cool. Both of them just couldn't control their car, or weren't paying attention.
Are these guys just not paying attention or are bumps and shoves just a thing that's accepted? That's ridiculous. The first hit really doesn't look accidental.
Are these guys just not paying attention or are bumps and shoves just a thing that's accepted? That's ridiculous.
From what I've seen in BTCC it's just accepted :v:
I don't have BTCC money or spare body panels :v:
White indicators! [t]https://puu.sh/xdyq5.png[/t] Also the grill got painted and lies at work to dry
I don't have BTCC money or spare body panels :v:
Just remove any damaged panels and if someone raises an eyebrow just say "drift missile bruh"
White indicators!
Why would you do this? Are the bulbs underneath at least still amber?
