[QUOTE=Gulen;52600453]I quite like my F650GS. 37kw, very forgiving bike, easy to handle. Luggage looks good on it, touring on it is nice. Pretty much the same engine and chassis has been used since the 90s and can still be bought today so you know it's reliable. With some offroad oriented tyres they're also decent off road.
There's also quite a community of F650 riders online, with tips for improving the bikes or fixing them.[/QUOTE]
That thing looks fucking nice but it's a bit too expensive ($4200 AUD at the absolute cheapest in my state) for what is essentially going to be literally a babbys first beater bike
[QUOTE=Savage Octane;52601004]Get a Yamaha v-star/Virago 250! I have one and it's a fucking blast. Pretty quick for a 250 as well. Plus it's a vtwin, so it sounds decent and has good low end torque.[/QUOTE]
$1500-$2000 is quite alright though, i'll defo take this one into consideration.
thanks guys
[QUOTE=Lerlth;52602237]You should have seen it when I flushed it the first time. It was like some one crushed up a brick and put the dust in the cooling system. 1/4th of the system has been a solid brown material.[/QUOTE]
Dude, there is a kit, a cheap ass kit specifically designed for flushing cooling systems.

Saves all kinds of headache and you can choose to leave the cap piece in or take it off for use in something else. Best part is all you really need is a washing machine hose or just a short piece of garden hose, 2 female hose ends and some hose clamps. You HAVE TO put it in the hose that goes to the heater core or everything goes wrong, trust me.
Drain system, leave rad cap off, fill through fitting till water comes from radiator then start the car and let it idle. It'll move what ever is in the system around to be flushed.
Just don't run the hose on full blast unless you want a chemical shower.
Moving the New Yorker I laid an trench in the front yard...I was turning it around to make pulling the engine easier and well It wouldnt move think some collapsed lifters...Ended up just hammering it out of frustration it moved...while plowing two 5ft long tire trackes in the grass.
I just got to see the new 2018 Harley's.
I can't post any pics until the 26th, but let's just say they finally joined the 21's century.
They're fucking [I]dead sexy[/I]

You won't regret it. It's a fantastic motorcycle. Reliable, cheap, and super fun. It's also sized decent for normal folk. The rebel is too small for most people. I'm 5'9" and I fit comfortable on my Virago. The only downside is it has next to no aftermarket.
Finished up the exhaust on the Celica the other day..

And now in honor of taking the week off.. we decided to build a box for my roomie's IS300. It's a PSI Platform 2 15" sub.

Ported it through the center armrest access hole.. ported to 36hz, something like 3.4 cuft if I remember right. Sounded great on 1200rms so far.. still need to cover the box up.
Your homie is never going to be able to use that trunk again
I do genuinely enjoy pictures and all, but is there anything wrong with using the thumbnail'ing [noparse][t][/t][/noparse] every now and then, if you have a load of pictures to post?
I mean, my scroll wheel gets some sick millage in here, had to change bearings on it twice, since i got it.

I feel like I'm one of 2-3 others that actually bothers to thumb. It's an epidemic how much space big pictures take up on these pages.
I learned too that you can create rows, so that you don't just need to put one picture per row. Just don't hit enter after each url of a picture. Simple I know, but for the longest time I didn't realized it worked like that on here.
I've always had to thumb my pictures. 18 mega pixel pictures are huge.

Well, TIL.
Also, I always thumb my pictures. My phones take huge photos and they'd be horrible to view on here if I didn't.
I guess I'm the other member of the Thumb Club here. It's easy even on mobile. If your image uploader service gives you bbcode, just double tap on the "img" in the img tags and replace with a T. That does it.
I never thumbnail any pictures
Sorry :v:

Also I'm on a 1440p screen, so I might think YEAH THIS IS A GOOD SIZE
when someone on their phone gets absolutely fucking blasted by a massive picture
I don't know if this is the appropriate thread to post this in,but what's the difference between GMC and Chevrolet? Looking at the cars both GMC and Chevrolet offer on the internet and IRL during my vacation in the States it seemed like there was no difference between the two brands.

Only real difference is trim. GMCs are cheaper and usually plainer and lacking some features a Chevy might have, but you can usually option them up to the same level. Other than that it's the same car.

I thought GMC > Chevy? Denali trims can get up into luxury car pricey iirc

I dunno, I drop the size with the "h" at the end of the pic name in the link, the stuff shows up at a decent size on my screen.

Alot of people do that in here. It's the only way to get attention.

Or an Imgur gallery
Tagged imgur galleries are ultra broken and ruin mobile browsing

Hyperlinks are still a thing last I checked on the internet
I thumb because I'm to lazy to resize.
And I am moving to Phoenix, so I've been pursuing Craigslist for a new project. I was set on either the aforementioned 630csi with a M30B34 swap, or a super cheap Volvo 240.
But then I decided to expand the search area and found an 82 Corolla with a rebuilt boosted 3-TC. I always loved the E70s because of how light they are and how expansive the aftermarket is for them. Plus I can part outy MR2 for use in the Corolla
[QUOTE=SirKillsAlot;52599810]While I'm not advocating joe rocket the new highschool hotshot to go buy an R1 as his first bike, limiting riders by cc has always ticked me off. I feel it is even more dangerous having a bike that can barely cruise at a highway speed limit than just having a reasonably fast bike. Although rare, I've had a situation where I needed to hard throttle my way out of a bad situation, e.g. I was stopped alone at an intersection, car coming up behind me, my light turns green, car doesn't seem to want to fucking slow down, I gun it and he slams his brakes at the last possible second (was probably texting) both actions barely saving me from being destroyed. Similar thing happened on the highway as well by someone crossing three lanes of traffic while driving like a mong 20mph over the speed limit behind me, but he clearly didn't see me across [i]three fucking lanes of traffic while I was passing a car[/i]. I had to gun it into the median brake down lane while he panic swerved right up my ass beside me, then drove off again like a looney.[/QUOTE]
I agree, and that's why even though my Grom can get up to 75-80mph, I avoid taking it on the highway at all costs. It can reach those speeds, but there's nothing left over after that if I need to get away. If I have to slow down suddenly, I can't get up and going rapidly so someone not paying attention could easily blast me from behind as I crawl from 40mph to 75mph over the course of a minute.
I don't ride much faster on the Ducati, but it gives me peace of mind knowing I have the juice to get out of there in a jiffy when/if I need it.
3.4 CuFt on a PSI platform 2 is gonna bang you just running 1200 to it to test or is that your final wattage if so what are ya running it off of? also that box is nice makes me smile when I see people put subs in a proper enclosure instead of whatever 20$ pawnshop box they can find

Car audio, basically the same thing

But I personally don't have high hopes for Imgur not getting worse.
[QUOTE=Trekintosh;52605485]I can't understand this post, what is this about? Is this a drugs thing?[/QUOTE]
lol yeah as zombii said car audio basically the same thing as drugs also when i started that post it was much closer to the post to which I was referring lol
Gmcs may have been similar or more basic in the past idk, but now they're just chevy pickups and suvs with more chrome and a nicer interior.
A contractor I worked for had a 2000 GMC truck that he bought second hand and had seen hell yet survived a long damn time surprisingly.
At one point Chevy was the cheap working brand and GMC the "professional grade" but that is no longer really true. Only difference now is like said above, just more chrome and fancy trim levels.
