21 as of late July, still live with parents, going to school for I.T. and work in the automotive industry. I'm still a baby compared to almost everyone else here. 2012-Current 1985 Toyota Celica GTS Manual (Summer) 2010-Current 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX Auto (Winter)
24 2003 Nissan Maxima SE I drove my family's 2001 Chevy Silverado 5.7L before I bought the Nissan. I still want that fucking probe if it's for sale but i still can't replace the car :v:
Cars I have owned 1985 Olds Cutlass 2002 FordFocus 1985 camaro with twin turbo 1965 Pontiac Parisienne 2door hardtop 2007 Toyota 4runner 1968 Chrysler New Yorker 2016 Chrysler 200 1974 Plymouth Scamp 2dr hardtop I should slow down im only 25.
20 here: 2001 Saab 9-5 Wagon (going to the wreckers soon) 2004 Saab 9-5 Sedan 2004 BMW F650GS 2007 Yamaha YBR125 (only have it 'cause the municipality managed to cover it in white paint...) 2012 KTM 690 SMC-R
I choose bad cars 2002 Audi A4 1997 Range Rover E36 life E36 320i Sedan First E36 E36 320i Coupe first track car E36 325i Sedam (Complete track car used by a racing licence school) E36 325i Coupe Rotrex Compressor (Also track car) E36 316i Coupe200$ shitbox that is now the white racecar as you know it I guess it's pretty mild. I've owned more racecars then streetcars :v: [editline]1st September 2017[/editline] What's your realistic dream car? I hope one day to own a E46 M3, or a Range Rover Sport
I'd like a legacy gtb or a Pontiac gto. Or maybe a chevy ss.
I've only owned 1 car, my 1973 BMW E12 520, I hope to own a CSI or CSL once, I'm digging the shark noses on the older BMW's
have had two cars a VW golf Mk3 which was absolutely bulletproof and never failed, never had any major problems (apart driver side door lock cylinder coming out) and then I went to a Saab 9-5 Wagon that has been problematic since I got it :v:
The only car I've ever owned is my 78 Opel Kadett City. Maybe one day I'll swap the engine for a 2.0 4 cylinder or a random cheap BMW I6, but that might be way overkill on a car this weight. 180 hp in a car weighing 870kg is a bit much. Could be fun though. I might get a first generation RX-7 in a year or so. The Kadett'lll be 40 then, which means I don't have to pay any taxes for it at all. Getting a second car insured is a lot cheaper than a single car, so I'd essentially have a free car except for the initial cost of the car.
I'm 22 when I was 16 my parents bought me an AE86 that needed a lot of work, I did a lot of work to it, but ultimately a bit lost with it but it'll happen some day. after that I bought a 1988 320i with an M30B35 swap that I did with my dad. then I had a peugeot 206 1.4(never again) after that I bought a 1984 Ford sierra that I have dailied for a year and a half now, beat the piss out of. and in february I bought another 320i, from 83, with a m20b25 swapped in and a turbo put on it, still needs a decent bit of work, but I have a non turbo engine for it that I'll turbo down the road.
I've had a lot of cars. Gonna put them in the order I got them in, I guess. 199-something Ford Escort 1996 Volvo 940 1971 VW Beetle (I still own this) 1988 Jeep Cherokee 1988 Jeep Cherokee 1998 Renault Kangoo 1984 VW Golf 1997 VW Golf 1997 Subaru Domingo 2001 Mercedes C-class 1997 Toyota Avensis (This is the one I crashed and broke my spine in) 1999 Jeep Cherokee (I still own this too) Not quiiiiite sure if all the years are correct, but they should be about right :v:

I'll add in my list, why not. I'm 24 and have owned: 2001 Toyota Yaris 1.0 VVTi 2001 Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec 2000 Volkswagen Golf 1.9 GTTDi 2013 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost Zetec S It's not an extensive or interesting list. I'm not sure where to go after my finance is up on the Fiesta. I'm considering anything and everything. An odd one that's caught my eye is a Vauxhall/Opel Adam, since you can get it with a 1.4 turbo engine with something like 160 horsepower. I've never really been a fan of Vauxhall other than a 2005 Corsa an old girlfriend had, so I might have to check and see what these little things are like as it's a lot of power for a pretty small car.

It is about on par with a citroen c4 cactus for driving experience. Something that should feel small and sprightly feels all lethargic and corners absolutely dreadfully compared to pretty much any other small hatchback. The steering has no feeling, yet the ride is like they chopped the suspension to cut costs. Worse still, there is absolutely no space inside whatsoever. A friend owned one for two years, and as you would expect from a vauxhall, the build quality is even worse than the very little you pay for it. The MAF sensor died, the interior fell apart and the boot seal leaked, and whilst these were all repaired under warranty, they took their sweet sweet time about it. I cannot recommend. [editline]1st September 2017[/editline] If you're looking for something on the smaller side though, can't really go wrong with a VW polo?
Am 22 1974 Dart Sport- DD for two years. As much as I regret it, I don't. Current weekend car, been hiding most of summer since 90 degrees everyday 2000 Toyote Rav4- GOOD FUCKIN VEHICLE. I actually miss this little 4cyl turd sometimes. 2007 Nissan Xterra 6spd. Current turd. I enjoy it immensely, planning on blowing my bonus at work on some new tires. Also a dart swinger for a very brief period that we Cannibalized in offering to the A body gods

my girlfriend just picked up a 2000 suzuki grand vitara hopefully it was a good choice after she accidentally caused frame damage to her camry
how does one accidentally cause frame damage? Did she get hit or something?
how does one accidentally cause frame damage? Did she get hit or something?
My stepsister totaled her Subaru Forester by hitting a curb while reversing. Unibody was bent.
my girlfriend just picked up a 2000 suzuki grand vitara hopefully it was a good choice after she accidentally caused frame damage to her camry
Changing engine belts and alternator is a bitch, so if self-servicing get used to removing the front if doing serious work. Otherwise reliable yet boring, but a bit keen on rusting.
My stepsister totaled her Subaru Forester by hitting a curb while reversing. Unibody was bent.
Unibody cars are ridiculously fragile. Just jacking one up wrong can total the car by bending it, for example. Or a minor crash that would be $1000 to fix on a body-on-frame car could cost thousands for a unibody vehicle and total it. it's ridiculous.

An ex girlfriend of mine told me she test drove a low spec Adam and it was utter garbage, so she got a Corsa Limited Edition instead. Talk about a step up :v: Where I live there's very little selection of dealers on the island, ideally I'd want to stick with them so I have a proper brand garage to go to if need be. We've got Ford, Mazda, Vauxhall, Mitsubishi, Toyota (all of those are owned by the same person), Suzuki and Great Wall. I'd consider going away to get a car but that involves paying hundreds of quid for a return ferry trip and a cabin (sleeping rough on that boat is fucking horrible, and I've done it). I can use that as leverage against price I would think though. Plus I was wanting something a little bit older anyway, something recent but from before everything became totally electrical. I'm looking to downsize if possible from my Fiesta because I just don't need a car that big. The most hauling I do is some guitar gear so the main test is being able to get a speaker cabinet in the back with the seats down. An older Polo might do the trick I suppose, plus the spares for mid 2000s VWs are fairly cheap which is a fairly important point.
I've only had 3 cars but I can rattle off the ones on the property :v: In order of age: 27 ford model t lakes modified 52 split window morris minor sedan 57 vauxhall victor super x2 65 mk3 ford zephyr 73 holden hq GTS sedanot 90 holden VN commodore SS (just sold :( ) 93 toyota surf 99 holden VT commodore In the past my dad has had countless holden hqs, a mk3 Capri, a few escorts and various other British and aussie cars. My grandad has about a dozen prewar ford's, some of the flathead v8 have old school twin spark heads! WIsh I had photos
