Yeah I didnt know they made tvs that straight up run on 12v for campers. I figured all the campers with tvs just had inverters.

how many do you have? I've got 15 currently but almost none of them are in working order. only reason I didn't post a picture with all of them is because I used a picture I already had on my camera and most of my cars are parked at my warehouse in ocean springs
I never got any real good pics of my Catalina, and the only car I have now is already in the OP.

Smaller insignia TVs at BestBuy are 12v. If they have a 'brick' for the wall plug it should be 12v output. I think up to about 30" or so.

We unloaded the bike across town at a loading dock and then I had to ride it home and it was like 20-something degrees out and flurries. I was cold, the bike ran like a cold MF.. but we all made it and I can feel my hands again.
The truck we drove was a V6 F150 with 287k on the clock and it developed a rear end howl on the way home because I found the passenger side axle seal was leaking and had that side backing late just soaked with diff oil. Nice. But it's all happy now... we're home, it stopped being loud a few hundred miles later.. who knows. Add more oil and go go go

Swapping torque converters tonight. Ran out of light and dropped the transmission on the ground. Tomorrow i have to lift it off the ground and back onto the jack... not gonna be fun.

I could literally not start the car because of this rare torque converter that requires a special starter. I am sick of trying things with various starters when i know the original converter worked. The stall was just fine on it anyway.

I can understand if it has a super low lockup and your just making drag but when you have a turbo car don't you want a high stall converter to make that turbo spool?

Been there. And there with just enough funds to keep me realitivly afloat. Shops mostly dont want me because of how mechanics are in these parts. If the shop is slow, they get defensive of the work that comes in and jump at it like rabbit dogs on crack.
I also dont have a very deep voice and look younger then i am and always get looks of "hes green, he cant do nothin" Its funny almost when I prove em wrong and do better work. Diagnosing is something I am exceptional at and making repairs come easy because of it.
My roommate's gfs friend had some car issues today, it was overheating and vibrating really bad. She gets the car here and the first thing i see is oil coming from the broken dipstick, so I check it. Oil half way up, not splashed, thick. Wipe it down and check it again, same thing. Its over filled by nearly a GALLON.
Go to pull the drain plug and no go, the HULK tightened it. Use my best socket to remove it, or try, and strip it fully. Then I go look for my visegrips and they are gone, great. So i pull the filter off, by hand, and use a hacked 2 liter bottle as a catch and guide to drain it that way, works perfect. Oil is black by the way and the filter element is rattling around in the metal, good thing she had already got one because it leaked after removing it.
No more shake, no more over heat. Next is a new tool and a new drain plug next time I see her.
Took me less then a minute to figure this out, but I need a paper to tell me I know what Im doing.
