It is.

But I got it free with a second one loose in a box, both completely dismantled with no screws.
First leg of the trip to TN and the V70 has managed an average 33mpg.
Woo wagons!

I'm going to try and swap ebarings between to caps, see if the bearing is just fudged. Maybe it's crushing to little or too much. Or magical chairs with the caps until it works.

US Gallon or Imperial Gallon?
For the longest time I was ranting and raving about the fuel economies mentioned on Top Gear until I realized there was a difference that vastly favored the Imperial measurements.
For example 33mpg US is 39.6 MPG imperial.
Has anyone here even dealt with freight? Doing some research it supposedly doubles the price if you have it delivered residential? Other people suggest getting it delivered to some sort of shipping center?
Two people could easily lift the pallet up into a truck.
I don't want to turn this into a $1,500 ordeal.
I usually have it delivered to my work.

Apparently theres some grumpy old lady at work who whines about me parking my motorcycle on the sidewalk. It is common practice for people to park their bikes on the front sidewalk, but i park on the back sidewalk because i go i the back door. The guy who came to warn me about her said that one time someone parked in "her" spot (there are assigned spots, it was a 30 year employee spot and they were both 30 year employees), and she tried to get them to tow the other guys car away. He told me to keep parking there, because its reallythe best spot for it. Is out of the way, and the parking lot is overcrowded as it is without bikes taking up entire spots.

That's the wrong program. You're supposed to be using NOS Program 2.0 so that you can tell if you have danger to your manifold and if your floor pan bolts are loose.....

We have assigned motorcycle parking right next to the turnstyles to get in where I work.

Regular fuel nozzles are green at Noco, Canadian companies are weird. A diesel Camry conversion would be pretty funny though.

yeah, it's a 1983 320i, so originally l jetronic, it's now a turbo 325i running motronic 1.0, and the cars harness has been modified to accept the round plug instead of the other way around.
i can see why the guy i bought it off of didn't want it, seeing as he bought it as semi built as well as far as i understood. but eh, it can't be that hard to get tail lights to work again right .-.
spent yesterday getting my 3t running.
first we tried spinning it over by hand, it was getting stuck about 1/4 of a revolution either way, even with forcing it with a strongarm so we pulled out the sparkplugs and got a camera in there
I wish I took a photo because all the cylinders but one had brown muck all in them :v:
after that we put the plugs back in and then it turned by hand again so idk what the issue was before
cleaned the sparkplugs with a wire brush, cleaned up the points we got it to start firing but the mechanical fuel pump is otherwise out of commission so we hooked up a holley blue which got it running :D
surprisingly little smoke came out, here's a video of it just sitting in my engine bay without mounts and no exhaust

Ahhh I may have a BMW racecar situation.. it's primered, but It's not an official success.. more on that later.
When the epoxy was still wet you could see how the panels looked, though. Not bad!

Better than realizing your engine had barely any oil in it after you and your mates stood around revving it...
Speaking of my bike, I ordered the two aforementioned screws last Wednesday, have been expecting them since Friday. All of last week and all of this week it's been more fall weather than winter. I finally got those damn screws in the mail today, of course on the day we get a shit ton of snow again. And it's only going to get worse.
I've never been a believer, but I swear somewhere up there there's someone laughing their ass off...
I did put the bike back together though, emptied out the remaining oil (was maybe a couple desilitres in there), changed the filters and screens and filled her back up again. Screens had a bit of metal in them, but I was happy with it.
For some reason they drained the coolant overflow tank, but didn't bother with the rest of the system. Put the tank back in its place and filled it up. Put the ignition back on, along with the airfilter box and put the battery in place.
Put the new clutch master on, and bled the system like 3-4 times. Still not entirely happy with it, there was still some tiny bubbles in the tube. Still have to swap over the clutch switch, but couldn't figure out how to remove it from the master cylinder.
And after three hours of working on it, I could finally fire it up. Freaked a little when the oil light stayed on for a bit, but it luckily went away.
All I have to do now is put a new shift pedal on/fix the old one, put some zip ties around the clutch lines/wiring, and get my damn license! It was looking promising, but then it suddenly snowed tonight/today. Hoping to get it in early/mid april.

I generally do 19 (44.7 ?) to 20 (47 ?) km/L on a daily basis, 21 (49.4 ? ) if I grannydrive.
But my A4 is a Diesel, soo that might be considered cheating...

Pretty sure it's not supposed to do this...
It's marking its territory because of the nearby cyclists.
It fits. I ordered them overnight. I'm a sinner.
Man, FUCK removing old head gaskets. I've spent a good 4 hours so far scraping the shit off, not even halfway done :v:
