Well, that's probably the nicest vehicle owned by an FPer, so congrats on that! :v:

Nicest owned by someone who hasn't killed someone street racing anyway

There is a jag person here that has some fancy blueish jag or so.
I've liked the newer Cadillacs for a while but never realized they were actually in my price range. I think I got a pretty good deal at 16k (~50k miles) for this one.
Really? Huh. That's a chunk cheaper than I thought.
I mean, I guess it is a 6 year old luxury car, so depreciation and etc. But still, I really like them carz.

Never saw that, neet. What model?
Really? Huh. That's a chunk cheaper than I thought.

Not gonna lie, that's a big part of what sold me on it. There's not very many around and everyone assumes it's way more expensive than it actually is.
I need to hear your guys' opinion about whether the following is responsible or not.
I'm close to getting my drivers license and I would love to get my own car that I can use to go to places in the weekend, have fun with and gain experience with.
However: I'm still going to be a full-time student for the coming four years. I will have to get a loan to pay for school and I'm not quite yet sure whether I can take a job next to school.
I will have the money to pay for the car itself. However, the taxes and insurance will mean I don't have much cash to spend on other things. I can take a bigger loan but after 4 years of ownership this will add up at least 3-4k to my final debt. Thinking about it now it doesn't seem too much when paying it back in terms when also having a job.

I think it was an XF, had a real nice blue colour

This post is now believed to be fake. I mean, c'mon, that's a VERY eccentric collection. And this would have been a mailed letter, yet the paper doesn't have any folds in it. It's EXTREMELY unlikely they would send a full size envelope for a single page, which this appears to be. And the poster deleted his account shortly after this thread was made.
Ugh I'm a petty showoff cunt.
Don't forget my Jap Ferrari :v:
Hmm. I thought you had an electric trans? I was thinking about changing my Daytona over to a RMVB but then I'd need to figure out how to lock it up. It'd be kind of stupid to hook it up to the relay. Hit it at a dead stop and stall the engine, heh.
Well it did have a big clunky 5 speed, but Im going with a 48RE which is an electric trans, but the RMVB bypasses all the computers and leaves all the shifting to you. All it is for the lockup is a positive and ground wire, once they complete a circuit I think its a solenoid that opens and that locks it up, same for the OD.
For this I dont think it allows lockup in first gear (depends on the valvebody specs) but you just have to remember what you're doing or you can stall it :v:
Its certainly different to drive, but unlike anything I've rode in.
Bradley's buddy, who's name I can't remember, had the s2k, and an ~84 supra
[editline]14th March 2017[/editline]
There was a other guy with a 1jz swapped mk3 supra too, but I can't remember his name either. :v:
I almost bought a Mark II Supra a few weeks ago but it lacked tires and I desperately needed a semi-ready car, which wound up being the Sunfire GT. Got bought before I could look at it anyway, even if I had managed to find a friend with a trailer.
Fedex: We cant ship that box because it has a grease stain on it
Me: You shipped it with a grease stain to my front step.
Still paid $8 for a box to put the box in

I love the looks of mk2 and mk3 Supras, even more so than the last gen.
But that's always what I hear about them, that the aftermarket is very sparse for them.

It's more worth my time to just swap in a 1j or 2j and mk3 running gear just so parts are easier to come by. :v:
Can't afford that shit though.
One of the really big shops that made parts for them shut down like 2 years ago too. :\

I've got a 2015 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew that is the most luxurious thing I've ever ridden in, I just haven't done anything with it yet. Still paying off that ~$50k note.

I would have said "alright well I guess I'll take all of my business over to UPS because they don't give me shit for a grease stain, even when I cause the grease stain, have a nice day. Hope this was worth it to your bottom line"

I promise like most places they won't give a shit because they're so huge taking business away is an eyeroll affair at best

It was a prepaid shipping label... I normally ship with UPS because FederalExpress can suck my dick
[editline]15th March 2017[/editline]
It also took me 30 minutes to ship this despite only needing them to put a box in a box unexpectedly. Some old guy didnt have a label, or box, or packaging, or anything. Just the item.
And then was surprised when it cost $85 to ship it to the Canary Islands.
well, i bought this thing a few weeks ago, as my first car
