is that speaker grille thing in the back part of the actual design or part of the anti-photography thing
because if it is I really hate it for some reason
I think that's the backup camera location.
Hopefully it's just like that for testing purposes because it looks pretty terrible.
What is wrong with it's nose.
It's ugly
Lol it's not even close to what the final production model will look like. People say the same shit every time new spy shots come out. It literally has fake body panels stapled to it and the lights and everything are not final.

Look inside the cowls up front, it's obvious that they have extra panels covering almost the entire front end. I'm reserving judgment for what they show at either Frankfurt Auto Show or Tokyo Motor Show later this year.

You can see the backup camera just above the number plate. The speaker grille thing is where the rear fog light/lower brake light is underneath that fake panel.
you're commenting about the looks of a test mule covered in stuff to make you not be able to see the actual shape of the body
from what I can see it's very faithful to the old supra design. some of those lines are very distinct even with a bunch of crap riveted to it
looking closer at the pic i posted, you can actually see the rivets from where they've just riveted extra panels on. almost the entire front of the car is covered in false panels.
I'm kinda wondering if I should buy a used DeLorean or just get a Honda Hatchback or something.
I'd rather the DeLorean, they're pretty cool, cheap when pre-owned, and the V6 PRV could do some long running. Anyone have any DeLoreans here and could tell me how it's like to have one?
Having owned a V6 PRV, never get a V6 PRV. Although I had the B280F Volvo variation...dunno much about the Renault in the DeLorean for maintenance and recalls. Mine notoriously had a biodegradable wiring harness and by the time I replaced it, the damage had already been done.
I now want to buy an old shitbox, beat it up. Then put that vinyl wrap on it and see what they make of it :v:

Oh shit, so replace?
Diagnosed the issue with the Charger. P06DD, which relates to one of a few things. Low oil (Which it was, because it was leaking), the dual stage oil pressure switch (which it appears to be leaking from) and sometimes having an incorrect filter installed. Should be taking it back in tomorrow and having that fixed.
Other than this issue, I'm in love with the car. I hope it doesn't end up being a lemon.

I wish i could afford an old corolla, plus some.
Put some turbo on that bitch, slap some god damn WRC Castrol livery on that and just drive around in that for the rest of my life, with the biggest childhood grin on my face ... Sigh.

I looked under the hood of an e golf at an auto show last year and it was pretty much just a big box
If the new supra actually decently resembles the old one and goes for a half decent price, I may actually be interested in buying a base model stripper and 2JZ swapping it.
Always loved the cars but not the 20-40k price tag for a LHD model

I'm in just about the same boat If it's relatively affordable I'll snap one up in a heartbeat but if it's a similar price to an MK4 i'd rather have that

don't get a delorian it'll run you
My Mobil 1 oil filter started leaking from the gasket, every Mobil 1 product I have tried has been a PITA. Luckily, it was a small drip. Plan to stockpile Purolator filters. Was stuck using this as Walmart stopped carrying Bosch and Purolator.
Anyone know any chain shops that shave tires?
One tire is cupped severely from the bad struts, it is just low enough to need shaving.
Just replace the tire, Not many places shave normal tires. At least to my knowledge.
The cupping won't get worse due to the strut being replaced, it'll just wear till it looks normal.
Whew it's day 8 since I got the flu.. just barely back to being a person but still weak and can't work in the garage on the Celica or my truck that still needs the rear axle fixed. I close on my house next Monday and have a week to regain strength to move and remodel.. wish me luck.
On that note I hope none of you have gotten whatever is going around this winter because holy fuck it was horrible. I don't think I've been this sick for as long as I can remember.

shaving tires doesn't cost any less than a set of used tires does. the only reason to do it these days is to cut out tread on track rubber in cases like spec miata where you have to use a certain tire or in cases where class rules require you to use a street tire
more importantly good luck finding someone who will do it. shaving tires generally hasn't been necessary since bias ply got phased out
I caught it one time in the very beginning. So far ALL of my co workers have caught it easily 8 times in a row. Entire schools have been shut down, offices shut down, and so on because of it. My entire family has caught it around 2 or 3 times now.

I got my flu shot so
Pretty sure I caught some of that noro virus that's going around over here though.
I can't remember the last time I threw up from being sick.
I'll get a nasal infection every year, but nothing worse than that.
I also thought my heater stopped working in my car, but when I looked at the know I realized that I had just turned it off. Doh
my brother had norovirus either early this year or late last year. I had bronchitis around the middle of january
no flu though thank god. I fucking hate the flu
[editline]20th March 2017[/editline]
I think every time I've thrown up in the past decade or so has been from overindulging in rum
So I've got an Astra 1.7 Cdti, 2011. Car started having issues on my way home from work end of last week. At low-medium revs the engine would struggle and judder. To move from stationary I'd have to rev really hard otherwise it would stall, and i had to put my foot down on the accelerator when I was stationary other wise the engine would die. Car died and wouldn't start on the way to the garage (Baylis, vauxhall dealer)
Garage have finally had a look at it, diagnostics have told them that the 3rd and 4th cylinders have no compression. They rang me without taking the top of the engine off, and said "from my experience, you will need to replace the entire engine" .
Told them to wait on taking the engine top off, as dad and I are sceptical they're jumping straight to replacing the entire engine, when everything online points to needing to only replace various bits of the engine.
Oh, also the car is only 6 years old with a full service history and just under 80000 miles on the clock (was literally just about to be due a service).
If anybody has any experience or knowledge they can share, is what they are saying sounding right? The car ran perfect before this and this just came out the blue.

Haven't had the flu shot in five years. I've never gotten the flu. I normally get sick once a year which is always at the start of winter for some reason. I am blessed
