I broke a bumper on a 2009 chevy with my single axle trailer hauling furniture and stuff. Granted the axle is.... 8klbs rated, the trailer has a 700lbs tongue, the floor is C perlin with I beam runners while its only 14ft? long. Shes a tank.
That's basically what I was thinking. I fully intend on replacing the bumper with a proper hitch when I can, but it's not a priority at the moment. I still need to wire in a trailer harness first since it doesn't even have one, and I really don't see the point of even having a step bumper on the truck when the side of the bed is the height of my knee.
Lol what seal did they break? Change oil on chargers basically everyday and it is simpler than hell.
That's basically what he was saying. Apparently their fuck up was completely baffling.
Apologies, that is what I meant when I said "Various bits" cause it was easier to type that then a list of different things when on my phone. The guy in the garage has basically implied that the cylinders are fucked beyond repair - this is all without even having a look beyond diagnostics. I've told them to wait because they will charge to start taking the engine apart, and once that's done I am committed to them fixing the entire thing.
Jeez, it doesnt take a rocket surgeon to stick a borescope down the spark plug hole and see if the cylinders are fucked. I think youre shops dumb if they didnt include that in the "diagnostics".
Might be getting a 2011 Jeep Patriot soon. Base trim, automatic transmission. [editline]pic[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/CYdV111.jpg[/t]

[editline]20th March 2017[/editline] 4.5 hours from home. Cant take the trailer off because the jack is fucked, was gonna fix it when I got home...
This is you falling back to the mean from all the good karma you've had
This is you falling back to the mean from all the good karma you've had
No one to point fingers at but myself :/ I mean, I was totally pushing my luck taking this trailer out to grab one of these trucks so far out, the truck pushes the trailer to the limits. Plus the tires were more than 5 years old, I should've changed them out but I couldnt pass up on this truck. I've been so busy I didnt have a chance to fix the jack and I was in a rush because I got the word to grab this truck at 12, should've taken more time to pack a jack and maybe spare. Shoulda coulda woulda, at least the trailer didnt buck and launch the truck, the back ratchet strap was loose as well.
cant go wrong with a vw beetle
Are you the right person to say that? :v:
Are you the right person to say that? :v:
It's the one car I actually did not lose money on. I would have liked to have rebuilt the engine once more and got a 1776cc kit. She was a fun little thing. Couldn't keep up with our roads here as I kept it planted 24/7.
Got a new fuel injector for my golf holy fucking fuck it pulls so much better and is so much smoother now would recommend
Is that on the KTM? No experience of the SMC, but the Freeride my mate has to dick about on has a horrendous clutch because the plates have warped and drags (you have to stall it to stop lol), but even before it was shagged the actual engagement distance was very very short. Shuffle the adjustment until it is closer to the middle of the lever action and hope you get better with practice?
Nope, it's the YBR. The KTM has a hydraulic clutch and as far as I could tell had great feel to it. I didn't really think the YBR was off until I rode the KTM.

Am I going to kill myself this way?
Is the switch to your fuse box your ignition switch? Looks good to me if so
Yep! As far as eletrics go, I've got the following items. All of them have a seperate rocker switch (except brake light for obvious reasons :v:) -Fuel pump -Instrument cluster -Wiper motor -Driving lights -Brake lights That's it!
use relays
use relays
Except for the kill switch, unless you put a master disconnect/kill somewhere else.
Might be getting a 2011 Jeep Patriot soon. Base trim, automatic transmission.
Don't buy a cheap Jeep. They're built with bargain bin FCA parts.
use relays
The engine ECU and engine itself it already behind a relay. Does the rest really need a relay?
I'm keeping an open mind since well... my dad insists on buying it for me. Finally for reals got a piece of cash set aside to improve my car. I'm starting with the intake with a police air box and a 70mm throttle body because it's easy and relatively cheap and should give me a little bit more butt dyno. I'd like to get a tune too but I'm having trouble getting to Blue Oval Chips.

Is the fusebox switch a switch to give power to the fusebox, or does the power come from the fusebox?

Ive been mildly interested in a tune from them for a while, but not enough to sift through their shitty site.
The engine ECU and engine itself it already behind a relay. Does the rest really need a relay?
the starter and wiper motors definitely do. the headlights could use one but it's not totally necessary
