The city put on an event today called "Touch a Truck" where they parked a bunch of municipal, city, work, tractors, etc in a huge church parking lot and let kids run rampant and jump in them, push buttons, attempt to pull air brake knobs, turn on sirens in police cars and ambulances, whatever. It was super cool. My 4 and 6 year old liked it. I never remember anything cool like that happening when i was a kid. They let em jump in the cab of the garbage truck and pull all the levers. Btw garbage men may as well be pilots. Theres a lot of stuff going on in those cabs.
My town's done that for years with cop cars, fire crews, ambulances, and some SWAT vehicles. It really is a pretty cool event for kids. It's part of DARE here, if I remember correctly.
Are we posting model cars now? I bought this for my desk at work, just haven't actually been in the office yet to leave it [t]http://i.imgur.com/BD71WhX.jpg[/t]
We're talking like 50k-60k miles, nothing excessive like 100k+
my worst one had 11k on the clock when I bought it

drove an audi r8 v10+ today the interior is amazing tbqh.
Last ones I promise
Oh god it has a spark plug ohh god Slowly remove its cloths. I wish to see more of it. Or just tell me what motor is in it. A older OS? I have afew little 30's OS's and they seem to be unkillable unlike a lot of the knock-off DA/DLE products (here recently) that they use cheap bearings, fake walbro's and piston rings that might as well be fucking cardboard. Its an hpi engine, 15cc fuelie. As far as I know its an original design. I run really high quality 2 stroke oil in it, klotz, so it gives me no problems whatsoever, with the added benefit of having an amazing smell. I also fly, but a lot of my poor planes didn't survive my move. I only have one umx habu left. Its my favorite plane though. Fantastic little jet.
Installed an oversized (wrong part) muffler on the Sunfire and it already sounds better, but the jack stand slipped at some point and took out a brake line. The fun never ends.
Brake line almost repaired, just have to pick a proportioning valve at the u-pull-it. It was the farthest end brake line, the right rear, but I kinda winged it and didn't bother to pull the entire old line out. Also, this is my custom muffler intake / pipe fitting: [t]http://i.imgur.com/oUUnSFN.jpg?1[/t]

These engines are pretty strong so I really don't fear any issue. Trust in the foamie to survive lol. On another note I rekt my 100$ flashlight sent it into them and they sent me a new head for free! Fucking amazing! Only took 11 business days but I'm also very impatient. [t]http://i.imgur.com/W6IQdIj.jpg[/t]

RIP Galaxy S6. Died today at work when it slid out of my bag and on to the concrete. Made it almost exactly 640 days. The best part is that I'm not even stressed out about it. Just going to get a new phone tomorrow.

Have to weld everything together of course but it feels so good to be going forwards with shit!

Still waiting on a motor for the Civic, on a reserved list though and a shipment that might have a few came in yesterday. I just want to drive my shitbox again...
I'm at the 24 hours of lemons in Sonoma.
I wanna get a parts car XJ6 and take it down to the Lemons in washington. The Wosley hornet people brought it to Van Dusen last year and they were pretty cool. I'd need to get a welder and all that heavier stuff though. Electricity in the garage would also help

All sorts of kooky things. I'll post pictures but I don't have very good ones. Can someone tell me how to embed an imgur album?
Would anyone suggest buying an OBDII scanner, rather than going to the mechanic for engine lights?
Pretty much everyone would. Don't need to get a really expensive one, I've even had luck with really cheap Ebay readers. It won't actually fix your problem most of the time though, so you might have to hand it over to your mechanic anyways.
fucking cocksucker caravans driving down this fun as fuck road [t]http://i.imgur.com/Js44uxM.jpg[/t] taking turns at 50-60km/h, 80km/h on straights and then caravan 20-30km/h at turns, 60km/h on straights and there are plenty of spots provided for slow drivers to pull over and let others pass but of course the dickhead didn't want to do that.
As a person who has been in a caravan on that very road I would like to apologize. I wasn't driving though, but still I can't forget the guilt when I looked back onto all of the cars behind us.
Probably the Pixel
Got a Pixel after I screwed up my S6. Would only arrive next month tho, wait time on the non-US 128gb is long as fuck. Anyway, hello everyone. I posted here few years ago when I lived in Australia had my EK Civic and asking for general advice in basic maintenance and modding. I don't know why but I've been craving a Honda lately (I mean literally, while I was here I've been driving and renting different cars to get around but my mind is still stuck on the ideal late 90's early 2000 Honda), and recently, I found this. I'm not sure if its still available because the site doesn't mention the posting date so it could be a really old ad. €1500 seems super attractive, I find that a little bit hard to believe but I have no experience in appraising cars in Europe. But before I take jump on the gun and take out the cash and go test drive this thing, is this car any good? Will it be as fun as the Civic or is it a more refined bore. I believe the engine is an F20B.
Would anyone suggest buying an OBDII scanner, rather than going to the mechanic for engine lights?
There's no excuse not to have one. They're anywhere from $3-5 on Aliexpress but don't expect it for a week or two. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/R1B1-Mini-ELM327-Bluetooth-V2-1-OBD2-OBDII-Car-Auto-Diagnostic-Scanne-For-ODB2-OBDII-Protocols/32649579942.html I've always had the best luck with my cheap one I bought 5-6 years ago, everyone always has some shitty scanner that fails to pull codes on something or completely doesn't even read certain ones somehow. My buddy with a Duramax has some stupid shitty tuner that doesn't even clear his codes or read his codes properly despite it having one single job of working on the LLY Duramax and absolutely nothing else.
Would anyone suggest buying an OBDII scanner, rather than going to the mechanic for engine lights?
Honestly just a ELM android one is fine. You can do quite a few things with them, But actually working on things and needing a REAL scanner there is no contest against a Snapon.
Unfortunately I have an iPhone and most of the readers Im seeing dont work with IOS.
