Its a honda. You cant go wrong for a eco-machine. But I bet there are better eco machines over there across the pond. [editline]26th March 2017[/editline] We can fix this really cheaply and easily. Find a android phone collecting dust in a drawer. Perferbibly Android 5+
Ive only ever had iPhones, although I do have a samsung note 10 that I can use.
Finally got around to finishing my front lighting. [vid]https://w3axl.com/skywarn/lights.webm[/vid] [sp]stupid chinese lights can't sync with each other[/sp]
[del]ah yes hondas, known worldwide for police service[/del] the flare looked like blues on the visor, nevermind
no wig wag, 2/10, unimpressive
I don't want to push things with the county. Their emergency manager asked us to have some form of emergency lighting within reason so this is pretty much all I'm going to do. Plus you start to look like a wacker the more lights you start to add.
[del]ah yes hondas, known worldwide for police service[/del] the flare looked like blues on the visor, nevermind
iirc pretty much every department uses honda bikes so yes honda is known for their police service ;)
iirc pretty much every department uses honda bikes so yes honda is known for their police service ;)
lapd strictly uses BMW iirc ;)
Finally got around to finishing my front lighting. My local PD uses Harleys. Having worked around them and seen inside them, I can tell you those fucking things can run your shit down. BTW I work at a Harley dealer, ama.
A local department uses Harleys. They're leased for $1 a year
Brake line on the Sunfire was a total success, spent relatively little on it too. And now the exhaust is super quiet but still sounds beefy, very proud of the car so far. Probably still won't pass inspection but it won't attract attention either.
Yeah, RCP and RoCo as well as Salem's chapter of VA ST all use Harleys. And they're damn nice - coming from a non-bike person.
A local department uses Harleys. They're leased for $1 a year
I really hope your joking. Cant believe Harley would sent out bikes for the PD to thrash on and have to fix them too. I guess it would be perfect in a R&D perspective.

At first glance it seems pointless, but the old cab mount is upside down in the photo. This new mount was fabbed up in order to allow more upwards clearance for the control arms. Had I not cut the old mount off the control arm bracket would have had to been mounted further down on the frame, wrecking ground clearance.
Valon you really need to NSFW that first photo. :nsfw:
got new (to me) shoes for the back end of my truck [t]https://imgkk.com/i/v4ve.jpg[/t] there was a like new set of 285/75-17s too but unfortunately they were only selling them as a set of 4 and 285s rub in the front.
Keeping track of new new racecar's expenses was a realy bad (read : depressing) idea.
Keeping track of new new racecar's expenses was a realy bad (read : depressing) idea. http://i.imgur.com/sPOEAqV.png
Nothing says "IT'S TOO LATE TO STOP NOW!!" like looking at how much you've already spent :v:
My dad might have found an 84 Porsche 944 that hasn't run in 8 years for $500. Anyone around north California got a trailer truck I can borrow?
Keeping track of new new racecar's expenses was a realy bad (read : depressing) idea.
what is this, a picture for ants? Looks like 4248? 9292?
Soooo... Got the CV joint boots back on on the Saab, so that's good. But since the car's in the shop I've been riding the YBR. Went to fill some air in the tyres on Sunday and saw this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/3JKIcLy.jpg[/t] Yup, that's a crack in my 1,5 year old tyre. And after I sent a mail to the dealer where I bought it from I went to check the age of the tyre, and found this one as well: [t]http://i.imgur.com/P56L3ca.jpg[/t] So that's just fucking magnificent. And I have to ride it as well 'cause I gotta get to work and the car's still in the shop. I'm rather surprised it's holding air. But that's not the worst part. My mechanic had a look while he was under the Saab and found a couple of nice holes in the pinch weld. $1200-$2400++ job according to him. Hasn't seen under the side skirts which are known to hide rust as well. :( So now I'm trying to decide on a chassis swap, E36/E39, or a HiLux. Neither option are really appealing.
a $500 944 is a $15000 project
Guy says it ran and drove around the block about a year ago. Its a good start for a Lemons car. There were half a dozen 944s at the race last Saturday. I might buy it this Sunday if things go well. Im vibrating with excitement. [editline]tits[/editline] I just reserved my uhaul. Indications are all great.
944 is actually a pretty good racecar. There are multiple big 944 racing cups

Go for it.
Mmmm cheap Chinese tires. [editline]27th March 2017[/editline] nevermind they are made in amercia fuck.
