Definitely false. If anything it's just providing lights for those involved. The cop was right there anyway
I didn't mean "you aren't allowed to do this" I just meant-- when you say you got pulled over the immediate impression is that you were driving and a cop pulled in behind you and led you to the curb for a traffic stop. When he said he got pulled over I thought he meant he got it started and drove off and then got pulled over for having stalled.
I have literally no problem with an officer stopping to help a stalled vehicle, I just totally misinterpreted the situation and then failed to express myself properly
How bout we break this up with some vintage tiny racecar?
[T]http://i.imgur.com/QBRgH3u.jpg[/t]
Had this little guy for a couple years. I found it in a collection of old, mostly ruined pan cars. All it needed was some electronics and tires. Even with these old cracked tires, it still manages to break 40 easy.
Not bad for a car a little bigger than my hand.
I cried a little, asking 30amps from a 1300mah eflite!?! Oh lordy. Granted that pack is rated for 20C which is 26Amps, I have swole a metric fuckton of those batteries at 75% of their rated load. The best thing that I ever did was switched to turnigy nano tech's...
So does anyone know how to program a keyfob for a 2010 Charger Police Package? Cause the two key thing, and playing with the ignition doesn't work.
I did the whole put one key in, go to on pos (not crank engine), wait, repeat with second key. But no learn mode.

Gotcha gotcha
Man, chasing squeaks is a garunteed adventure.
So the XJ had a strange rattle whenever you closed the doors, and only when you closed the doors. And after much prodding around every corner of the car and much opening and closing of the doors, i finally found the sound at the top of the trunk. So after tearing out the entire interior of the trunk, i found out what it was
[t]https://puu.sh/v6sRj/95a8b6ee6f.JPG[/t] [t]https://puu.sh/v6sRl/babb884058.JPG[/t]
You got a big pan that bolts/seals to the underside of the parcel shelf that equalizes the pressure between the cabin and atmosphere through four simple flaps, and another set of flappers underneath it which does the same for the trunk. Trouble is the vent for the atmosphere pan is also the drain for the valley running around the boot lid, dropping the water through the holes in the sheet metal onto the front part of the pan and out those two hoses you see in the trunk shot. Trouble is, exposure to all that moisture rotted the cloth(?) buffer on the flaps off, which then fell into the tiny little drain hole and plugged it, creating a little reserve of water. This water then broke down all the glue holding on the foam padding, rusting the pan and breaking down the seal around the window for good measure. And the metallic clanging was just the now un padded flaps flopping around whenever you closed the doors or if there was a substantial change in exterior pressure.
Why you'd combine the trunk sill drain and the pressure equalizer flapper valve pan into one part and make all the padding out of cloth and other short lived materials is beyond me. Fuckin' jaguar logic.

Sanded all the metal down, scraped away all the rust and repainted it. The foam cushions are alright but i'm gonna replace the guilty fabric stuff with a rubber sheet tomorrow. Restoring little parts like this is satisfying as hell
Remember kids, if you hear a rattle, fixing it might save you from having to replace the rear window.

I've only had a couple lipo fires under my belt, two of which my plane decided it would fall apart and crash nose down at full throttle and another time I a battery shorted out inside my battery box (Military ammo can) It was inside my truck at the time and I didn't even noticed it until I arrived at the field with one stupidly hot box. They can get hot, just give them time to cool cycle and charge them nice and slowww.
I've thankfully never had a indoor fire.

Dealer wanted 400, for 400 I could buy the fucking hardware and software to do it myself. But I have the hardware, I just need the software.

according to Snap On's 13.2 they might be able to do it... as if I had to take a weirdo guess it would be in the instrument controls or ecu. Other then that I have no idea what factory type scanning can be availible for homebrew obd2 stuff.

I decided to read up on how to replace the clutch and speedo sensor on my E36 just in case there was anything weird I had to know.
After 30 minutes I got to the part where it said "To renew the drive pinion, the transmission must be dismantled and the differential gear removed. This task should therefore be entrusted to a Nissan dealer"
Haha what a funny typo I thought. Turns out I was reading the Haynes for a fugly Nissan Micra.

I would've had everything prepped and then to read that would become quite angry at the amount of work I was about to do
My summers are 175/70/13, should I feel bad?
nah, my summers are off a newer ford and rub.
also if you're the kadett guy i think yours might be even older than mine.
Previous owner must've been a bit dense. He cut the price because of these faults;
ABS didn't work. Because the fuse was blown.
SRS Didn't work. Because he didn't connect the steering wheel airbag.
Sentral lock didn't work. Because the fuse was blown.
The speedometer didn't work. Because he didn't connect the differential speed sensor.
The heating didn't always work. Because coolant was at minimum.
This guy somehow has an M5 for a daily driver tho.
First things first, Installed a front air dam, and TIEN springs to my Miata.

A Fiat X1/9!
Which for a Minnesota car, which has been outside for the better part of a decade, has VERY little rust. Checked underneath pretty thoroughly and the frame is perfect. And even the body looks to be 95% free of rust, which includes no significant holes of any kind. The problem with the car is that the drive train is fucked. Engine hemorrhages oil, clutch it stuck fully engaged, and there is a leak in the brake system.
All of this basically equates to, I want to do the ever-so-popular K20 swap to this thing.
It will be a long process, learning nearly everything from scratch as I go, with a very limited amount of money going into it. But I'll be damned if I give up. Wish me luck.
When I get them together in a few weeks, I'll get a picture for the OP.
Bruhs, I have found gods gift to man

Hey guys, my verano just popped a p219a code. Gm says to check the injectors as it could be a faulty or clogged injector. What do? Car doesn't sputter or run rough.

Could be injectors not closing 100% after injecting, I guess they say it's the injectors since it might be a common problem.
I got most of the winter grime off the Golf this afternoon. Clay bars work really well.

I need to do a bit of polishing on my car the next time the wax wears off. The paint isn't in too bad condition but it does need doing, since I've not done it once in the 2 years I've owned the car.
Wanna clay the X but I'm not sure the paint is good enough to justify it, it'd take forever.

1.I always hear consistently how TEIN and Raceland (nicknamed Riceland) are the worst Springs/shocks/etc for a Miata. They are too soft for the drop, and just have poorly balanced spring rates to begin with. I guess they have QC issues too. But, if they work great for you, that's all that matters. Cheers!
2. I totally thought that was a Fiero, took a good 20s to see it is a Fiat!

Did a thing yesterday.
Here's the rest of the pics, not sure how to post Imgur albums.

I had to make a ghetto spring compressor. Giant ratchet strap with the hook undone and a bolt through the strut.
Mother fucker stops good now. PowerStop front and back with Evolution pads. :buckteeth:
tien springs are every bit as good as oem, don't drive like an ass and they're a more comfortable ride than other brands while still giving you the same look. they're just not ideal for track use

Don't drive like an ass saves a lot in maintenance costs
