It goes away if you choose a Mountaineer. [t]http://i.imgur.com/hsBX9Ee.jpg[/t]
from what i can tell, unibody explorers can rent from uhaul, but body on frame can't
from what i can tell, unibody explorers can rent from uhaul, but body on frame can't
Yeah, looks like I was mistaken about "all mode years." The sources I listed said current explorers are banned but checking the website now says anything over 2011 is fair game.
wow i full on retarded out and didnt even notice was meant to ask about cleaning
depends how bad it is. first wash after I got my car was the full deal, 2 bucket wash, clay, pre-wax and wax. most of the time all I need to do is a 2 bucket wash and a top up of the wax. I need to polish the next time the wax wears off, some swirls are starting to show, and I accidentally reversed into my manager's car not long ago and got a couple of scratches on my rear bumper. occasionally I use some trim restorer for the black plastics. windows get a coat of rain x every time the car is washed. tyre gel on the tyres after every wash as well. generally for brands, I've been using auto finesse shampoo, trim restorer and spray wax, meguiars clay and ultimate quik detailer for lubricant and paste wax, auto glym spray wax and various wheel cleaners, at the moment I'm finishing off some auto finesse stuff, and I have some powermaxed fallout remover to use next.
My car hasn't been washed in almost a year :v:
My car hasn't been washed in almost a year :v:
My car is on a strict two washes a year plus whatever mother nature contributes
I'm horrible to my truck. Everytime I wash it I use Purple Power, but I swear my roof keeps growing this fucking mold bullshit sap shit and it's fucking annoying and nothing will take it off except purple power. I only wash it when i need it to look pretty or after I went mudding.
I'm probably gonna take the 85 to the local pro wash and give it the full on $300 happy birthday sometime soon to see what it's got left in it before I decide if it needs repainting or not
my truck has a protective layer of road grime at all times
Wash Xterra and work on it's interior detailing a bit every weekend. I like seeing it clean, and I legitimately enjoy giving it a wash.
Damn, you guys need to take better care of your hoopties. Wash once a week, detail once a month. What's the point in having a tool that provides you with so many things; fun, freedom, a hobby if desired, and most importantly, the only thing that can get you from point A to point B in a reasonable amount of time. Respect it, take care of it, and it'll take care of you. When I see people with dirty cars I can't help but imagine what else they don't bother to wash...

So fuckit. I only care about interior cleanliness now. One day I will paint the exterior when I get lowering shackles and spindles. [t]http://i.imgur.com/o9c9Nnr.jpg[/t]
I don't wash my car that often, but it's definitely not caked in filth. Interiors clean(vinyl floor yoo) exterior just has a little bit of winter dirt behind the wheels but it's rainy season here for another month or so.
You guys want laff? Was dicking around with my fusebox looking for the WIN (wireless ignition node) fuse, maybe it was blown which might be why my keyfobs don't work. Found this in the box [t]http://i.imgur.com/l1ZWAdX.jpg[/t] This was on my AUX Outlet fuse, which is different from the power outlet (cigarette lighter). But this is still what was powering my cigarette lighter, which worked for the first 20 minutes of me owning the car. [t]http://i.imgur.com/cdWEoT1.jpg[/t] The WCM (wireless control module) is the one missing the fuse to the left most, directly to the right, next to it is the WIN fuse. So, I might have to tear apart my fusebox to fix my keyless entry problem. But yeah, if you ever buy a cop car, expect really shitty electrical work. Also this isn't the worst of it, there's open cable harnesses everywhere on this car, and cut harnesses. Which is basically why I've been procrastinating doing any electrical work on it.
Can my whip's OP photo get updated? I took a better pic of it. [t]http://i.imgur.com/EUJKTIb.jpg[/t]
I guess since you asked so nicely.
The Sunfire has paint damage but the engine bay looks crazy good for a beat-to-shit '02. [t]http://i.imgur.com/SyUxH1z.jpg[/t] I'm aware that a photo directly after washing is cheating
No cheating here. Not bad for a 94. :zoid: [t]http://i.imgur.com/pG6oz3F.jpg[/t]

At work when we have to work on someones vehicle, and it's falling apart, full of stains/trash/fluids/ash/etc. It only makes me imagine the worst about how the rest of their life must be put together. The amount of cars we get in that smell like literal, 100% unwiped, fresh off the shitter ass is staggering. These people deserve execution, tbh.

That's honestly about it. I let rain do the rest all year long.. :v:
Spent 3 hours today trying to get a bolt off. Couldn't. Tried every trick available. Was flexing the wrench it was on so tight. Cant get a socket + breaker on it. Hoping the soaking of penetrating fluid will loosen that bitch right up for when I go back at it in 48 hours
First wreck on my bike today. I was making a turn and nearly got turned into road pizza by a guy in a Camaro flying up behind me. Ended up slamming the throttle it and laid it down on the side of the road. Tried going after him but he just kept on flying down the road. What a great birthday present.
It's driver's like these that make my future-bike-riding-self want to mainly track a bike as oppose to try and enjoy the open road.
Glad your ok dude, happy b-day by the way. My day isn't as bad but I am super fucking furious. Took both of my TRAP rotors off to get them turned at O Wronglys because they were a little warped and would make braking a bit tricky, only a tiny bit but its annoying as fuck. So now both rotors are SEVERELY warped and need to be turned again or replaced. I can not believe they did such a shit job.... I better be fucking compensated for this shit.:suicide:
What state you live in? I know zero people that turn rotors around here in New England/NH. It works out to almost not be financially worth it to the majority of people here, so that is part of why it doesn't seem to exist anywhere.
I edited my post, try the offer a six pack method, it's always worked for me
I'm determined to not be beat by a seized rusty bolt. But God damn a low profile 11/16 socket would be awesome
My car hasn't been washed in almost a year :v:
That's how it was with my Escort. After it started getting rust and peeling paint, I stopped caring. Felt bad for it, but it there isn't much you can do at that point. When your poor in high school and college there ain't no money for car washes in the winter. I'm making good on that with my Fusion though and actually trying to keep it clean. The splash guards work surprisingly well stopping mud from getting sprayed. Thank fuck spring and summer are here so I can finally hand wash and it will actually stay clean for longer than a day.
I'm determined to not be beat by a seized rusty bolt. But God damn a low profile 11/16 socket would be awesome
I have a big ass piece of quarter inch flat bar with a cut down half inch drive extension welded on for this purpose. maybe you can do the same thing
