I could never do that, Im the asshole who blares drum'n'bass and 90s trance at full volume
I usually rotate between the local 'country' station and my personal music blaring metal and 90s grunge. And I can tell you, that base package is a shit load better than 2015's E-series base trim package. I assume you at least have power mirrors and windows?
I have a friend whos selling a 1986 Ford Bronco XLT 4WD in excellent condition (excluding interior weed smell), Anyone know its pros/cons / Should I buy it? I've kinda been wanting to get a off-roader / truck for the past few weeks, but I don't want to spend $7500 on a Jeep (Which I'd spend even more on afterwords repairing / installing aftermarket parts)

Broncos have been in high demand and difficult to find for a while.
I usually rotate between the local 'country' station and my personal music blaring metal and 90s grunge.
Thanks to people buying EV's, I can continue to daily my 32 year old car. :cat: Also put my shitty meme stickers on. Looks pretty rad!
only aux, i don't have any need to play my personal music. the local country station suits me just fine.
I'm surprised that it doesn't have Bluetooth at all (would think that's standard now because of hands free laws) but they bothered to put in the FCDIM that has a color LCD. But maybe that's for the backup camera, if that's a standard feature.
Hey guys, long time no see (if any of you even remember me) Finally back into cars and I'm trying to sort out my old Sunny RZ-1 which is all rusty and whatever but is such a fun car to drive thanks to it's low weight and suspension. But there's something wrong with the front end and I'm not sure what it could be - if I turn to the left, not much but enough to take a bit of a corner at over 60km/h then it will steer a little bit, then sort of aggresively turn more without the steering wheel actually moving. It only does this turning left. First thoughts would be that something is loose, but I've had it up on the lift and checked the control arms, bushings and anything that could be loose. The bearings are good too. What do?
Power both, automatic windows on both sides which is nice as heck compared to my Sunfire with neither.
Yeah, no. Mine has crank windows, towing mirrors that aren't powered (because, you know, a non-towing package cargo van needs tow mirrors), and no back glass or side door glass. Amazing what two years can do for automotives.
I'm dailying a 46 year old car :v:
I'm dailying a 30 year old Yota because my 9 year old Dodge is a turd. :saddowns: [editline]15th April 2017[/editline] Also, down the street about ten minutes outside of town there's an '80s Balitmore Ambulance for sale.... What...?
There was a pair of gmc box trucks turned to ice cream trucks on sale for my local craiglist a couple years ago for like, 5,500. Still kicking myself for not hopping on it. Coulda run a racket on these bad boiz
Me: Cant wait to sell the blazer for $2000. No more repairs unless needed Me browsing RockAuto: Damn, new hubs for $60, MOOG balljoints for $20/ea, brake pads for $10/axle, OEM shocks for $20/ea....
I had a considerable shopping list for my Blazer, but decided I wasn't going to spend more than necessary to keep it running long enough to sell it. It's got too much that would need to be done to it before I was happy with it. Would not be anywhere near the value for the cost of the parts.
I have a quick question about a certain part. One day I plan to put a turbo on my 1989 Toyota Corolla (base 4 door) with a 4af 1.6l DOHC engine. Just there's one part I have zero idea what the name of it is, and it's basically the one piece that attaches to the top of the Carb so all the forced induction is directed into it. Any help? It's the silver piece as pictured here, not my pic obvs \/
Carb hat or carb plenum theyre always $100-$300 even though its a very uncomplicated part. I built one out of an aluminum carb cover and intake piping for my car with the crutch cheaters housed inside.
I'm actually surprised a car with a V10 under the hood settles on it's rear axle after that jump.
aerodynamics. There's a massive fucking splitter up-front. That paired with a flat bottom makes it lift off. [editline]15th April 2017[/editline] Update on the racecar, now with broken-phone quality pictures Finished building up the engine. Alternator, powersteering, reservoirs etc. Also as earlier mentioned I'll be making the entire front setup from a E46. -E46 lower control arms -E46 steering arms -E46 wheel hubs -E46 330 stiffning bar? -E46 M3 brakes To make the E46 M3 brakes fit on the non-M E46 hubs I had to modify a small bit of the calliper. (Still less work then making it fit for the E36 hub) Had to mill 6.4mm of the brackets. Spend a total of 4 hours to mill the 2 brackets. Most of the time spent on getting the brackets lines up 100% on the milling machine. (It's like absurdly straight now :v:) Result : E46-M3 brakes on a non-m hub. Also installed a short-shifter. Which is developed by a big dutch racing team and isn't usually for sale. All thats left is designing a shifter knob and milling one out from aluminium. Other then that loadsa small stuff, fitting polyester parts and making them ready for painting. Also ordered a bunch of racing bushings. Hopefully the car will be back on it's wheels sometime this month after a small 4-5 month build!
Holy Christ batteries in oddball sizes are ridiculously expensive!
Did you check tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm, and balljoints [editline]15th April 2017[/editline] (if applicable)
I don't know anything about that car. If it has rack and pinion, it could be a warn spot in the rack causing play. If thats the case, it'd happen in the same spot every time. If the pinion is worn, it'd happen every 360 turn of the wheel.
Holy Christ batteries in oddball sizes are ridiculously expensive!
I've actually had good luck out of the Wal-Mart Value Power ones that just came out for 50$ a pop. Try to measure up the Group 65 they have vs your Group 40R? and see if it will work.
You guys got an AA discord or anything?

Finally, for the OP! Very excited to get working on this thing.
I brought my dune buggy back home. luckily the old tarp over it kept it more or less mint for the last two years. Got it running about the same as it used to, then realized the whole time I was working on it we had the 2 and 4 plug wires swapped. dicks.
Any of you boys ever tune a fomoco panther platform car?
Just a couple weeks ago I bought an SCT x4 with a Mo's Speed Shop tune and it's superb. It really woke up the bottom end on my gutless civilian Crown Vic LX. Still tinkering with Marty to get all the shift points where I like them, but once that's sorted out I'm getting an E85 performance tune too.
What are the two holes on the front of the caliper for? Also how does it slide?
A lot of cars have some spring-like support part on the front of the calipers Absolutely no idea how to explain that in english :v:
