It's still "only" a $60,000 car. If I got a slight pay bump at work I could afford one.
must be nice Edit: Unrelated note, but if you drive one of those 'rolling coal' trucks that blow thick black smoke all over everyone's car, sit in the driver's seat and idle in an enclosed garage.
Steam cleaning is even better. You blow down the whole engine and you can pracically see all the dirt, grease and shit falling off from places you'd never be able to get into otherwise.
How does this work with the electronics. I always wondered
How does this work with the electronics. I always wondered
I mean if you get any water into the engine bay it's going to turn to steam when it hits the block anyway. Anything under the hood is already designed to endure that sort of climate by nature. Also, anyone here got experience with technical drawings? I've finalized a few parts on the Wyvern and was cranking out some of the prints for them since i'll need to send out for patterns and machining on a few things i can't do. Want to run some other eyes over it [T]https://puu.sh/vnSD2/aa32f707ba.png[/T] Is this fully readable and featured? I don't wanna send this off for work and have the phone ring with an irate machinist saying "Oi, fix yer shit" Units are inches because i'm secretly american
I almost bought a Challenger. I wanted a R/T 392 with a manual transmission. Local giant Dodge dealership said they had two, so I went to look. Neither was what they said they were. one was a T/A, the other had the shaker package and was sitting right in the middle of the showroom. I started looking over the one in the showroom to find that they never painted the block at the factory, which was bright rust orange, and lots of aluminum corrosion everywhere on all of the accessories/brackets, and coolant wetness seeping from the outer water pump bearing already... with less than 10 miles on it. that was shortly after being blown off by the sales staff and not being able to test drive anything, because the only other manual ones were SRTs and "we don't let anyone test drive those". :fap: So I went directly to the Ford dealership and bought a 2017 Mustang GT Performance Package instead. I still think the Challenger is a really good looking car though. Also: 4 decimal places and no tolerances? Also where is the data on the internal features?

I've just place a bid on a oversees E36 M3 GT.....seems like interest is low. And because you need a special licence to buy it there aren't many people who can make a bid. I've placed a 1800 gpb bid. If I in this ill be the happiest person ever. I mean a fucking original M3 GT.....
My dad found a Saab 900 (2nd gen) with either a 2.0t or 2.3t engine for sale for only $300-400 I fucking love Saabs and I want to get it but its an auto :v:

Hey quick question guys. I just got a 2014 Ford STX 4X4. I really do love the truck and was thinking about maybe getting some sort of brush guard for it. But being honest with myself I don't think I have any practical use for it. I hardly take it off road and mainly use it for commuting to work. They are pretty expensive too. Basically what I am asking is there any practical use for a brush guard other than off road purposes? I am leaning towards just getting a bull bar if I do get one. I have heard these protect against minor collisions but also that they can damage the frame of your truck if you do actually collide with something. Here is what I was aiming for http://www.americanmuscle.com/barricade-35in-bullbar-black-0915.html?utm_content=AT%20Armor%20-%20Bull%20Bars%7CBarricade&utm_campaign=AT%2009-14%20Years&utm_source=Google-pla&utm_medium=Shopping&utm_term=%7Bkeyword%7D&AMID=barricade-35in-bullbar-black-0915-GSBasicFitmentV1&year=2014&T5_Var3=orange&GID=T527543&T5_Var4=T527543 [editline]18th April 2017[/editline] Also is there a good site for decent but cheap rims? I want some black rims but I cant spend 800 on a full set.

Other than that it strictly does what it's designed to do: protect your vehicle while off road. It offers no on-road benefits. Also worse fuel economy due to messing with aerodynamics etc.
Yea, that's what I figured. I just see so many totally non off road vehicles sporting them I figured I was missing something.
It's purely for looks in 95% of cases, and to be fair they do look pretty bitchin, but that's all they do on street trucks.

Besides, your new car being such a monster that its sort of unbelievable that you have one... well, there are probably worse ways to be talked about. :v:
Fitted the entire front of the e36 again. Had to customize the (polyester) bumper and fenders to make it all fit. I'm going to finish building the car first, then as final step I'll take off the panels and paint them. This is because I still need to modify lots of stuff when I receive the polyester hood, doors, etc. Not to mention fuck with the front and rear fenders to make my wide-track fit.
Hurry up, I can't wait to see it all together :v:
Well at this point it's a matter of funds. The past 6 months and coming months about 95% of my paycheck has been dedicated to this car. I've set aside some bigger goals for, either the winter. Or near future. Including -Individual throttle bodies -GTR kit -Rebuild of the wheel-wells to allow for lower ride-height -Replacing entire rear quarter panels for polyester

They look angry.
I'm dumb for this? Not everyday a autistic facepunch user has a 20k $+ vehicle.... just double checking you know.
Uh, 20k is a very affordable price to a lot of people. [editline]18th April 2017[/editline] I didn't realize the vehicle in question is 60k+. I can see you skepticism, but the autistic thing is a bit too much.
So my check engine light is on, and I checked the fault codes, Ive got 9 of them. Are any of these in dire need of fixing? P0122 - Powertrain (Throtte/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A circuit low input) P0351 - Powertrain (Ignition Coil "A" Primary/Secondary Circuit) P0352 - Powertrain (Ignition Coil "B" Primary/Secondary Circuit) P0420 - Powertrain (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)) P0552 - Powertrain (Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input) P0505 - Powertrain (Idle Control System) How serious are these?

Sounds like a couple sensors and some coils. Not particularly difficult to fix.

So is it really 840HP on 100+ octane race fuel? Because I thought that was the power at 93 octane. Could've sworn somewhere it was going to be 1040HP on the racing fuel. Also, remember how I posted thinking it was going to be a $100k+ car? Well I guess they're saying now it will be under $100k. Maybe $90k?
Man... Tires get expensive, even if they're cheap. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1vSn5QW.png[/t] It's almost like the ticket vendors for concerts. About 1/3 of the checkout price is bullshit convenience fees and other nonsense. I literally didn't go to a concert that looked amazing simply because 50% of the checkout price was convenience fees.
Fuck, that's almost as much as the 200TW Hankook RS4 tires I'm planning to buy within the next week or so. They are $115 a pop, but only other fee from tire rack is about $56 for shipping. Course, I gotta pay about another $80-$95 for mounting and road force balancing. I think the total will run me close to $640. Maybe I can make close to $150 back selling the Yokohama S.Drives still on there, not many miles...like 2k I think.
