Do I fix the 33k mile deville and have a really factory fresh car that could last me like 3 years or so or do I just part it out and make potentially up to 2k? So spend 3ish k or make 2 ish k...... It would be a great vehicle if I convert the front seats to captins. [editline]28th May 2017[/editline] As I heavily dislike bench fronts
bench seats are great also chrome glove boxes
Ahhhhhh . I forgot to lock the hood after checking a sound. RIP windshield, hood and fenders. People saw.
That happened to me with my first car. I was looking down at my stereo to mute because of a rattling noise. When I looked up, it was just black. Then the sunroof exploded. I was picking glass out of my hair for a couple days after. Looking down probably saved my eyes because my shirt and my seats were peppered with little mini shards from the windshield.
Ahhhhhh . I forgot to lock the hood after checking a sound. RIP windshield, hood and fenders. People saw.
I want to laugh, but I feel bad for laughing
Had the hood fly open on one of my old dodges... on my way to a date. Drove over to my buddys place, robbed the hood off a truck he had and rocked a black hood on a red truck for a while
The lock from my hood was busted for a while, luckily I have a tilt hood so it only got lifted up a bit instead of opening all the way
Thanks guys. All we could do was laugh and drive home. I started looking for parts. Only hood I found was 250$ because rust free were "rare". Fuck that noise. I found some other guy with a Polish 328 that was selling everything but the drivetrain and got twice as many parts I needed for 150$. So much for rare.
yeah pretty sure e36 hoods are still floating everywhere in decent condition
So I have to step down a 6/8 gauge wire down to the 16 gauge fusible link. And I can't find anywhere how Toyota did it from factory. Electrical really isn't my thing.
why wont my car start
why wont my car start
Check the fluid in your electrinator
why wont my car start
bad exhaust bearing i bet

Front benches are great for terrifying the shit out of your passengers because they have nothing to hold on to.
why wont my car start
have you checked the blinker fluid
have you tried unplugging the triple cam overflow bondage and dusting your shift knob
But bench fronts make road head easier.
they also give you the ability to in theory fit 6 in a sedan it's great
have you checked the blinker fluid
headlight fluid is also essential, don't forget that
headlight fluid is also essential, don't forget that
i dont think he has a volkswagen
If you're not a strong swimmer wear a fucking life jacket. Also don't be a dumbass when boating
Like 3 people drowned in the last week [editline]28th May 2017[/editline] All the rivers are pure snow melt so they're like 40ish degrees
did he verify his key was being ran as administrator? [editline]29th May 2017[/editline]
If you're not a strong swimmer wear a fucking life jacket. Chasing a short on my truck fucking sucks, when power goes to the cluster somewhere theres a wire contacting the body that puts power to it. I can put a test light between the engine block and the frame and it'll light up. When I put the fuse in for the cluster, even when the cluster isnt in, the frame/engine block has power and it shorts everything out. I removed the ECM harness so its nothing to do with that end, I pulled all the fuses and relays in the box except for one, 50AMP Battery, which leads into the cab. Then I went to the interior fuse box and pulled fuses until I got to Fuse 14 10AMP Cluster B (gives power to the cluster when the key is off I think, so you can read the odometer and I think some power to the headunit so it keeps the time) So what Im thinking is the cluster sends some sort of signal that goes back into the engine bay, and that wire is the one fucking things up, because I didnt touch anything for the interior, but I did spliced out all the ABS doodads
Fitted 18x10s onto my friend's eclipse.. changes the whole look of the car! That's a big ass oil leak...
That's a big ass oil leak...
you should see the vic I bashed the oil pan on a few years back. kept running not losing significant oil til it was shut off, then it dumped the whole 6 quarts on the ground al gore woulda cried
Man I want security cams now.... In other news, I FINALY received all of my suspension parts back from the sandblaster/powdercoater. Finished installing the front sway bar, complete with custom hard inserts (holy fuck that took ages to get into position) and custom short sway bar links. Excuse the shitty fish eye cam but my phone is still fubar [editline]29th May 2017[/editline] Still not sure if the sway bar will work, as it's NOT designed for this car
Replaced the bad door pin on my drivers side. Turns out its been replaced before. This is raising my suspicion that my vehicle was involved in an accident before I bought it. The entire front suspension had been replaced before and then I had to do it again, the right way. Contacting a buddy to get some easy welds done that have deteriorated over the years. Maybe he'll even weld a small hole in my exhaust.
I don't see why it wouldn't work aside from any possible clearance issues, adjustable endlinks might help so you could adjust the length and angles better but I'd assume those aren't allowed by your class or something since you went for custom made endlinks instead. As long as it doesn't bind up somehow, if everything mounts like stock and fits snug just like it's meant to you should be okay functionally. My Type-R rear on my Integra has what I guess to be different swaybar mount back spacing and has solid flip down mounts which bolt onto the front of the rear lower control arms. It makes some popping noises as it loads up but as the bushings have worn in it's finally quieted down over 15-20k miles and some fresh shocks/lcas. I imagine that ASR designed their rear subframe brace for their own adjustable bars and the ability to run a OEM bar wasn't their primary intent despite being a selling point. Honda switched to the balljoint style endlinks in later years and cars which seems much more forgiving in design. I'll have to post how janky my DA Integra swaybar fits on a EF Civic at the endlinks, it ruins endlinks in a few thousand miles because the angle is off and it's a straight bolt through design. I've tried installing them at ride height and all that but now I just tighten them down every oil change since the bushings get super tweaked out of shape anyways. Everyone on the internet insists these are direct bolt on with an OEM fit despite much of the front suspension being different on the DA Integra.
That's a big ass oil leak...
Lmao it had rained earlier that day.
