i dont take shakes, i had a chicken wrap and 2 breasts
i dont take shakes, i had a chicken wrap and 2 breasts
but a chicken breast only has 30-40 g of protein, other chicken parts are like 10g
the breasts are 10-11oz that i eat, 25g per 4oz the chicken i had in my wrap also came from chicken breast, i figure it was ~6oz or maybe a little more of chicken
I was 238 lbs. at 5'7" last winter, I'm 168 lbs. at 5'8" now.
Okay that makes more sense, I thought you were some 6'0 kid trying to cut down to 150lbs, I was about to hire a helicopter to come punch you in the face.
would you say having a can of tuna and 2 cups of milk after a small work out a good idea? its a total of 36g's of protein.

fuckin love milk. Drink 3-5 glasses of chocolate milk everyday. Also, in terms of food consumption, is there any types of meat or other foods that are better to get protein from than others or is protein from anything good enough? The reason I ask is I, at least until mid may, get all my meals from the university dinning hall so I get no choice over what they serve, I just pick from whats there. They always have at least two options for meat, sometimes even fish but idk if it matters where you get your protein from.

So I'm starting the Diet and Exercise regimen up with my dad tomorrow. When I did it last summer, it was either Oatmeal with (2%) Milk or Rice Krispies for breakfast, Sandwich without cheese and either no mayo or miracle whip for lunch, and salad or something small for dinner. I'd snack a bit on some healthy stuff and get around 1700 calories total per day, plus 30-45 minutes of running. Lost 30 pounds in 1.5 months, so I figure it'll work again, however does anyone have suggestions?

Yeah, I've had a lot of trouble with protein intake, but I don't like red meat much. I'm thinking of getting Muscle Milk or some protein powder so I get some mussels faster than last time.
eat chicken or horse. very lean meats, lots of protein (horse is even leaner, i think? just by a lil) in other news my fish oil tablets are 1000mg (1 gram) i took 10 3 days ago by accident im still alive
Chicken's good, but my mom (who is overweight) loves making it deep fried or slathered in BBQ sauce that has 10 grams of sugar per tea spoon. I know it's a crap excuse, but that's why I was so restricted with myself. My parents would make their dinner, which would be loaded in protein.... and everything else, and I'd have a salad. 10? How'd you manage that?
try to get her to just roast it 10 because i heard on here take 10 lol, didn't know they were 1g a piece until i read the box today as we got a new shipment. "1000mg" now i look likethis [editline]21st March 2011[/editline] im kidding. i didnt even notice i took it, as i said, i doubt i was harmed at all (but dont do it, its a blood thinner)

I work out every day, 4 or 5 different exercises. Should I use protein powder? How many calories are in a serving (Trying to lose some fat)?
I work out every day, 4 or 5 different exercises. Should I use protein powder? tbh i would only reccomend 2-3 days of working out. fatloss slowing and water retention can happen p easily
you really shouldt work out so much , but chicken breast is superior to pp in alot of ways . focus on your diet and not the small things like pp
Having to cook chicken breast all the time is very incovenient.
Having to cook chicken breast all the time is very incovenient.
not really but if it makes it easier for you then go ahead and do it, you can find some cheap and tasty stuff at trueprotein
I don't always have the time to get it for lunch, and I doubt the rest of my family want to eat chicken for dinner for the next couple of years. Also, I don't work out on Tuesdays, so I get 1 rest day a week. I'll get 2 from now on.
Should I take the 2 days off in a row or just 2 days per week.
Should I take the 2 days off in a row or just 2 days per week.
Per week.
