American Football (Don't talk about rugby for the love of god) - General

Anyone here a fan of 8-man football? It's the variant played in the Arena Football League, and in my area of Kansas my high school is so small that it's part of the Kansas 8-man league. I prefer it to 11 man because it's a lot more run-based and the game as a whole is more intense. Oh and I played D-End until I jacked up my shoulder and I'm currently sitting this season out. So yeah

New York Giant fan here. Disappointed by the Redskins game, but we've had worse. Also, fuck the Jets, can't stand any of the people on that team. Lions will have a "feel-good" season. As long as Stafford stays healthy, he could lead the Lions to a winning record. Bengals fans should abandon ship right now. You'll be lucky to win a wild card this year. The Colts are done. Kerry Collins, while a reasonable replacement, cannot replace what Manning is for the team. Manning IS the team. He will probably become a back up under Peyton and become the new franchise qb when Manning retires.

Someone who has an appendix burst generally dies because the appendix is full of harmful diseases that, more often than not, are fatal. Probably just appendicitis and you'll be able to play within a month assuming you don't get stressed out.

Mine had already burst for like a week before I went in, somehow it didn't hurt that bad, thought I pulled a muscle. Anyways it was 3 hours in surgery and they cut my abdomen in half. I cant do shit for like 6 weeks or risk it tearing apart.
