I was the tall skinny kid who ironically played noseguard. Then in high school I went to linebacker. That shit is so fun
Why can you only pass backwards if you're going forwards?
Why can you only pass backwards if you're going forwards?
cuz its the rules
Why can you only pass backwards if you're going forwards?
cause it'd be p. gay if you were about to tackle a guy and he chucked it 34 yards into the endzone would probably result in a lot of unnecessary injuries too
This just in: The Baltimore Ravens are resting their starters for Sunday's match-up with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Anybody know who's Seattle starting with on Saturday?
Oh hey, Buckeyes won the Sugar Bowl!
Anybody know who's Seattle starting with on Saturday?
The Saints. Also, according to DVOA rankings, this year's Seattle is only the third worst team ever to make it to the playoffs. And those two other teams? They both won their first game.
My pick for the Superbowl? Atlanta Falcons all the way They have the top record in the NFC, are in the top 5 in stats on both sides of the ball and they have the best homefield record over the past few seasons.
Falcons all the way.
Falcons all the way.
Samuel L Jackson agrees
Niners and Raiders are out of it. I'm stuck rooting for whichever team has a star Cal Bears alumni on it, like Philly and DeSean Jackson.
I don't think the Falcons are really good enough to go all the way. If the Saints don't beat them in the divisional round, I think the Packers will in the NFC Championship. The Falcons barely escaped many losses in the Dome, including one that required a bullshit facemask call on Terrell Suggs and two uncalled offensive pass interferences by Roddy White in order to score the game-winning touchdown against the Ravens. You know it's bad when White openly admitted to shoving down the defender in the post-game conference.

The problem is that I honestly don't think their record at home is indicative of their performance at home, I think it's more just coincidental that they manage to come out with wins there.
The problem is that I honestly don't think their record at home is indicative of their performance at home, I think it's more just coincidental that they manage to come out with wins there.
It just shows that in their home environment they can deliver when they need to and I believe that's what is really going to help them.
Raiders! Raiders!! CHAMPIONS!!
I'm not a fan of the NFL, I only watch college football. NFL just doesn't have that charm to it, too professional. Basically everyone is too good and it makes the games boring. More spectacular things happen in college football.
I watch both but i have to agree that College football is much more exciting and unpredictable. ROLL TIDE
I have been a vikings fan since before all this recent crap making them popular. also, let the Brett Favre jokes commence. [editline]5th January 2011[/editline] or am I too late for those?
You forgot about the possibility for 2 points after touchdown if they decide not to kick it and try and run/throw it into the endzone again
I watch both but i have to agree that College football is much more exciting and unpredictable. ROLL TIDE
Kinda see where your coming from. Remember the game where the Boise State kicker missed two easy field goals(both which would have won the game for his team)
It just shows that in their home environment they can deliver when they need to and I believe that's what is really going to help them.
Okay you just ignored the part where I said they're not really delivering when they need to because they are as good as their record says, but it's more of a coincidental and/or much helped drive that saves them.
Australian rugby is far better than this. I'm not trolling, I'm just saying it's better, I don't see how you guys wear padding constantly
stop trolling, otherwise why would you come into an america football thread and post this stupid shit

But I think the Colts could make another Super Bowl appearance if shit gets together. We are going to be playing the Jets, then Pittsburgh, then the Patriots. We can take all those teams, but with 2nd string players playing, it's going to be rough. However, they have had a few weeks of play time now so they are getting better and better. But it's really hard to tell. We might get beat by the Jets next game. Who knows.
Go patssss yeahhhh
College Football is best and my Team Auburn is going to the national Championship
Dallas Cowboys FTW [editline]today[/editline] Did I just say Dallas Cowboys? I ment Denver Broncos
I'll probably go for the underdogs during the Superbowl.
College Football is best and my Team Auburn is going to the national Championship
It's pathetic they're letting cam play though, he's going to get in huge trouble one day soon for what his dad did, but they know it'd hurt tv ratings for the game if the heisman winner couldn't play. I mean, it will be one hell of a game, but the NCAA needs to have less transparent double standards. [editline]5th January 2011[/editline] Although I definitely agree college is the best.
