You know, I used to have really bad acne. After cutting my hair short, sleeping with a towel on my face, and taking Minocycline, my face is clean as can be.
But most importantly, don't give up  Trust me, it gets better after awhile.
go to sauna once a week
This summer when I was on vacation in Greece I just lay in the sun for about 1 hour almost each day(2 weeks), and by the end, all the acne/pimples on my back were gone.
never had acne :D
I use the Clean & Clear stuff, it's worked for me so far. I rarely use the moisturizer though, because when I do, my skin starts like, flaking off for the next three days or so.
I never had real acne. Just blackheads every now and then. They're fucking annoying.
I used to use Proactive, that was great. I live in Phoenix, Arizona too. The dryness and heat doesn't help at all, but it's better than humidity with acne. Don't take showers twice a day, either.

My mom tried Clinique on me, Proactiv, and some other cream that I forget the name of. I washed my face twice a day, for about two months with each, nothing works.
She's thinking of putting me on Acutane, I'll see if Apricot scrub works first though.
I do this ever morning
1. Put on swimming goggles
2. Close Mouth very tight (so that nothing gets on my lips
3. I scrub my entire face with alcohol vigerously. It stings my nose like a bitch and makes me light headed but I have skin thats as clean as a whistle and dry as the Mojave desert, so I then put on a moisturizer.
Oh god Jiyoon, that sounds painful.

lol yeah it is
got pills from doctor, took them for a year with this facewash stuff, its been gone ever since
Put a clean shirt or towel (or something) on your pillow before you go to bed, because your pillow is usually pretty dirty.
all that acne and oil and sweat soaks into your pillow so with cleaning and this you should be ok
I use Acutane.
clean pillow, every night
My acne is like, small little unseeable bumps.
you can only see them in the light.
Put a towel on your pillow each night, make sure you sleep on a patch that you haven't slept on. The towel wipes up the oil off your face while you sleep.
Yeah but who is gonna bother putting a CLEAN towel onto their pillow everynight.
Too much washing to do.
I had acne all the way up until I started high school. It's usually caused by having oily skin - which means you just need to shower daily. But then I only shower 2 or 3 times a week, so I guess I'm just lucky.
It'll go away eventually.
Accutane. Has a habit of not failing. Used to have a habit of destroying you internally.
Drink a lot of water, and cut out most or all of your soda consumption
clean towel on a pillow seriously works wonders
if the towel is a decent size, you can get 4-6 uses out of it by folding it and then flipping it over
It's cleared my face better than any acne product has
I went through acne very early in puberty, and now all I get is a single pimple every couple weeks or so. It doesn't really interfere with anything.
Herpes is worse, trust me.
Proactive blows dick. Don't waste your time on any cheap antibiotic your doctor recommends to try either, they don't work. Accutane is probably your best option.

It's pricy though.
Lava soap. Once a day in the shower. It dries your skin like a motherfucker because it removes most of the oils from your skin. It gets rid of most of my acne.

and it leaves a nice scent.

Is it expensive D:?
Don't dry out your face with soap or shampoo, that is just moronic. Just wash your face every day with water, or use a acne-preventative that moisten your skin as well.
you open up your pores when you dry it out thus making it more vulnerable to exposing making you get even more pimples/worse acne.

I've never tried wet towel on pillow method, but will try it out in the future now.
Hot ass water to wash rag, apply to face, scrub like fuck.
I just cut off my facial skin and put it in a jar. Once puberty is over I'll put it back on.
In hindsight, I've realised what the best cure for my skin is; the beach.
When I was down on the Sunshine Coast, going swimming every morning, my skin cleared up like never before in just a few days.
