It was odd, but I NEVER had acne.
Is it expensive D:?
It's 2 bucks online: http://theconsumerlink.com/listing.asp?BID=WD40&SKW=wdlava&navStart=13& You can find it at wal-mart, grocery stores, etc. I forget how much I bought it for. It also lasts for a long time.
uhh I have always used proactive and it works great, but my gf uses accutane or something like that and thats works well for her. I say just keep trying stuff out till you find something that works.
If your acne is extremely bad, go to a derm and get a prescription for accutane, it works pretty much 100% of the time, but only as a last resort as the side effects can fuck you up.
my girlfriend has the tiniest amount of acne ever and being the weirdo she is asked for accutane. she's on her second week of it and gets a lot of nosebleeds daily and usually vomits too. we were reading the side effects of it and there actually was a part that said 'urge to self harm or commit suicide', crazy shit.
Lava soap. Once a day in the shower. It dries your skin like a motherfucker because it removes most of the oils from your skin. It gets rid of most of my acne. [editline]24th November 2010[/editline] and it leaves a nice scent.
Holy shit, use a finer grit than Lava. You're lucky you still have a face.
All I do is wash my face with some shower gel, works good.
I did nothing, never had it.
I used to have pretty bad acne, but I endured about 2 years of an Accutane prescription and now I've got perfectly clear skin. My last dosage was ~8 months ago.
Sounds neat, can you get this at pharmacies, or is it prescribed from a doctor or such? I have acne here and there, and the only way to lower it is if i wash my face atleast 2, and sometimes 3 times a day.
well I live in Mesa, Arizona, and I don't get really bad acne, but I do wash my face all the time, if that helps at all.
Stop drinking soda. Wash your face. Take Oxytetracyline. Use Clearasil face wash.
I use ginseng creme and it works p. good
Just go to a doctor and get a prescription for whatever he feels best for your level of acne. I got given an antibiotic gel that you apply twice a day and it's cleared mine up a bit, but I think I could probably completely clear it if I bothered with a towel on my pillow each night too.
Never head acne before. Pretty fuckin' awesome. [editline]25th November 2010[/editline]
Herpes is worse, trust me.
Fa-Face herpes?
Never head acne before. Pretty fuckin' awesome.
You must be 10.
Isotretinoin (accutane). Magic drug, gets rid of acne for you permanently. anyone with problems, get it.
Hot water and a flannel, scrub that shit till its gone If a single pimple is your problem, cut that shit off when you shave I slept on a dry towel for about a month, its magic
You must be 10.
Oh shit. You found me out...
LOL at the disagrees, a bit jelous you socially inept nerds?
It's people like you who deserve to be knocked unconscious, and tied to a railway.
Masturbation releases hormones so doing that less will probably help more.
Go to dermatologist, get isotretinoin prescription.
That's a generic for Accutane, isn't it? That shit is for worst case scenario acne. It is like the acne WMD. You really would hate using it, but it works. It dries out your skin and makes you feel all around like shit. It was developed out of an attempt to make a chemo drug, it's powerful. Also my hair comes all the way down my forehead and I don't get acne up there. I used to get it badly up there but not any more.
Shower twice a day, that's what I do. If you sweat, wash your face. [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] Haven't had acne in a long long time.
Don't fill your body with harmful drugs, just wash your face twice a day or wait and grow out of it like most people. No one notices or cares about the acne of other people anyway, unless you want to maintain a certain appearance for someone.
I'm not sure if it's the same deal, but I sometimes get these painful bumps just beneath the skin of my face from time to time. I wash my face religiously, but fuck if that works...
put pepto-bismol on your face. not joking saw it on Ellen. Helped alot when I was a greasy ugly ass 13 year old  [editline]26th November 2010[/editline]
Shower twice a day, that's what I do. If you sweat, wash your face. I'm a medical esthetician, so I could go on endlessly about information on acne but I will just give you the basics. if your acne is as bad as you say it is and you dont want to go on a prescription like acutane for it (which you might not because its super harsh on your body and organs) there are a few things you can do. You can go and get a cosmesudical or pharmesutical grade acne product from a doctor or medical spa, but its usually pretty expensive, these products usually contain retinol which is pure vitamin A. Other than that you could try some procedures such as microderm abrasion or a chemical peel (these are good for acne scarring as well) this works because it takes off your first layer of skin ( stratum corneum layer) it might get worse before it gets better, but it will work. I would be careful using products like proactive because it contains benozyl peroxide which your skin can build up a tolerance to, so it works for a while and then stops, or if you stop using it the acne comes back. Drugstore things are better than nothing, you are going to want to cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day no more or you will actually make it worse. Toning helps rebalance you ph level back to 5.5 after cleansing its suprisingly a very important step. and moisturize with a moisturizer for oily skin. Cetaphil is a pretty good cheap line no added fillers. hope that helped a bit if you have any other skincare questions feel free to ask. [editline]26th November 2010[/editline] oh and if you get acne on your scalp finding a shampoo with zinc in it should help, I think some head and shoulders have it in it. Zinc helps to heal inflammation and is good for balancing the ph of the skin.
I use some alcohol pads called Spectropads, work well at drying out the skin but I usually wash my face afterwords with Dove soap and water.
Isotretinoin (accutane). Magic drug, gets rid of acne for you permanently. anyone with problems, get it.
didn't accutane get recalled because of serious side effects? [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] shit ninja'd
