I disagree with the guy in the video that said Duke is the king and the most iconic male video game character. Gordon Freeman is the most iconic and Duke is the runner up. End of story.
sorry but i'm pretty sure duke could smash gordon's head in with his bare hands.
Bro, you're a numbnut.
Gordon Freeman can't be iconic, he is supposed to be you in a way. Just a silent pair of eyes and eyes floating in the air.
Pretty much this. The reason valve added no interaction with Gordon and game world was so that you could interact with it. It was a great technique to create a strong feeling of immersion, there was nothing stopping you from being Gordon Freeman.

Stupid
Duke Nukem 3D came first, and Serious Sam is more of an Eastern European version of Duke Nukem, but they are preety diffrent games, although they both have the same style.
And that reminds me that Serious Sam had references to Duke Nukem Forever back in The Second Encounter that came out in 2002.
Yeah same style. I don't really care who came first, it's the style of gameplay. Repetitive monster killing is what I experienced in serious sam, but I saw some shit like drawing on a board and peeing in a toilet in this video, I don't really know how that's gonna help the style of gameplay.
I'm a little picky when it comes to games though, I only like games where I can create and control the world. Such as gmod. I'm more of a modder rather than playing the game.
This game is gonna kick ass.
while i chew bubble gum!
this game looks cool. i will be getting a demo when a demo comes out.
[editline]04:05PM[/editline]
of course, i was expecting a real footagte video. not a few seconds of gameplay and then talking...

They draw dicks. Lots and lots of dicks.
Hail to the dick, baby.
"duke is the most iconic character in video games"
Mario? Who's that?

A plumber.
This is really the only reason I like Duke.

What the hell is that girl's problem.
Randy seems like a nice guy.
Never really understood the importance of this game. And I don't mean that to be an asshole, I just don't know the whole story about the "Duke Nukem" franchise. Just that people like using soundboards of Duke's voice.
To me, this reminds me of serious sam.
Is that's what it's going to be like? I've played serious sam and it was kind of boring.
I'm all out of gum :frown:
Yeah, I don't think anyone whose never played a video game will know who Duke Nukem is. The same cannot be said about Mario.
I wouldn't even call Duke the most iconic character in an FPS, The Doom Guy probably holds that title.
Proceed with Operation Cock Block
Is it me, or do the controls look like they ripped of COD, used the Halo style of melee, and added a beer button...
I mean really, those look like the EXACT same controls...
Effective, yeah, proven, yeah, but...I dunno. I know there's not that many ways to do FPS controls, but that seems a bit too familiar.

How is him and Lora Croft the most iconic people in gaming?
Let's hope this isn't one of the biggest let downs in video game history.

What if you drink the beer while pissing in the urinal
Endless urination.
This looks sort of bad, I mean really it just doesn't bring anything new. Its Duke Nukem and for its time it was an awesome game, it had lots of interaction. Now it is just a generic shooter with a badass character.
How is him and Lora Croft the most iconic people in gaming?
The guy's just saying that because he owns the character now.
But Laura Croft, really where did that come from?
Saving the princess to get some pussy is pretty manly, man.
Except let face it Zelda looks like sightly more manly version of Justin beiber.
Duke is still the king and will always be.

She someone's a mother if you pay close attention someone says I do not think your mom's very happy and another person answers.

:crossarms: I thought her name was Lara Croft. Meh.
Also he seems to be stuck in the 90s.
