Her face kind of reminds me of Bill Cosby.
People always get so creative with their ramen, I love it.
no more black bars ! and today were making egg rolls with aunt fee
It's finally in the right orientation! Hoorah!
im starting to think this is one of those stupid fake things
I thought you shouldn't add water to sizzling oil or risk getting splattered and/or causing a small scale explosion (although I guess that is the least of her worries, seeing how she was scraping the bottom of that teflon pan with all sorts of metal things). Also that was quite informative and actually not too bad up until she added cheese then it just seemed like a horrible mess.. Honestly I might be a minority here though.
its fine to throw a lot of water into a little oil
Teflon is some serious ghetto seasoning for your food tho.
Somethings got to make them kids more resistant to bullets
you upper-class motherfuckers sittin here in your armchairs eating caviar or some shit acting like this shit's nasty but let me tell you that you have not lived until you've eaten something cooked by a black lady like seriously some of the best meals I've ever eaten in my life were made outta garbage bought at aldi for less than five bucks poor folks know how to make low-quality ingredients taste good I guarantee you 90% of the fancy cuisine you eat for twenty dollars was probably first made by a poor person for insanely cheap. that said though, that kitchen is fucking huge and spotless and their house seems really nice all things considered so they're probably not poor at all, they're just cheap-asses and the momma probably used to be poor. same difference though. good tasting food for like three bucks. I don't care if you think she's "ghetto" or "trashy," lady's got more sense than someone that spends three bucks on a bag of chips

Prisoners would beg them to stop serving it. Most "elite" food used to to peasant food at one point, fixed up to seem fancy. [editline]3rd August 2014[/editline]
is that a teflon pan ??
Why do you say that as if it's shocking? [editline]3rd August 2014[/editline] I mean fuck, I'm pretty sure I've seen even Alton Brown use Teflon before, they're fine when used at lower temperatures like she is.
yeah heating oil until it smokes is totally low temp they're shocked because she's using metal utensils with it which you're not supposed to do
I'd be more worried when she starts promoting the idea of scraping the teflon off into your food. For now, it doesn't matter.
yeah heating oil until it smokes is totally low temp they're shocked because she's using metal utensils with it which you're not supposed to do
Lard has a low smoke point compared to olive oil, peanut oil, etc. She still has several hundred degrees to go before it starts breaking down terribly. And yeah, metal utensils still isn't great but using nonstick in itself isn't going to kill you. Stainless steel and cast iron will be better for a lot of things but using Teflon isn't the end of the world
its not lard, lard isn't liquid at room temp
wtf is "grease" if its not bacon grease, duck grease, etc.? [editline]3rd August 2014[/editline] What, is she using this shit? Do you fuckers live in mansions, what the fuck? How is this ghetto to you?
I do wonder how it tastes
It probably tastes fine, if not incredibly unhealthy.
Ah this lady.. Black as the devil, sweet as a stolen kiss.
Ah this lady.. Black as the devil, sweet as a stolen kiss.
She followed the footsteps of Robert Johnson and sold her soul to the devil at a crossroads in exchange for unsurpassed cooking skills
Mother fuckers, Sista Girl said: "use some grease (animal fat / lard)". You read 2 pages of posts here and still think she used "oil"? Wow...
Using leftovers ain't ghetto, that's just thrifty.
Fried Rice is pretty much always made of leftovers when home cooked.
Mother fuckers, Sista Girl said: "use some grease (animal fat / lard)". You read 2 pages of posts here and still think she used "oil"? Wow...
oil is often referred to as grease, and judging from the fact that it's liquid at room temperature and looks like regular used vegetable or canola i think it's safe to say it's oil
I'm guessing this is only viral because 'heh sassy black woman'
Using leftovers ain't ghetto, that's just thrifty.
be that as it may, using leftovers is only one of two facets i explained
be that as it may, using leftovers is only one of two facets i explained
Having a local vernacular and accent ain't ghetto either!
then nothing is ghetto
then nothing is ghetto
Clearly you must see ghetto firsthand to have an eye for it.
She is ghetto, but she's not a hood rat Probably the best way to describe it. It's funny as shit. What surprises me is Jimmy Kimmel went for her so quickly
