oorah pwned
It took this to make us realise that nukes are bad. Lets hope the bombs of the future aren't tested like this.
People died 65 years ago from a nuclear bomb. Okay.
...go away, this was the single most devastating act of mass murder in war, and one of the worst acts of wankey-prethinking ever, it took a terrifying number of deaths to make us realise the true force a nuke commands, no wonder they're not being used left, right and centre.

Cool.
i heard they're going to celebrate this by having a fireworks show in nagasaki
ITT: Ridiculous American who think that genocide can be justified.
And what do you think they should of done?
That makes no sense, and also if it were the U.S. Army shooting my family I'm pretty sure me and all the other gun owners would be exercising our 2nd Amendment rights and be overthrowing a tyranical government.
please tell me youre just trolling
I didn't mind the 1st bomb, sure they could have picked a smaller target and not a huge city to keep the casualties down, but was the second one REALLY necessary? They barely knew what hit them the first time, dropping another was like using dynamite to put out a bon fire.
i'm not kidding guys, the celebration's going to be a blast [editline]11:35PM[/editline] bomb ass food too

R.i.p [editline]07:48PM[/editline]
So because I could care less about a bunch of people died almost 100 years that makes me heartless? lol
Being apathetic to men, women, and children losing their lives does indeed make you heartless.
The dropping of the bomb was completley justified. If we hadn't then it would have cost millions of more lives. And yea war sucks people die it's been that way ever since we started killing eachother, which killing eachother is just human nature anyways and will happen no matter what.
Correction: We did not use nuclear bombs against them. We used atomic bombs. Filled with hydrogen. If we would have used two nuclear bombs on Japan, the whole country would have been blasted to dust. Or, at least, a very large portion of it. Technically, we didn't nuke them. We bombed them. Pretty f:fsmug:king hard. Edited: Gee. Sure is smug in here.
nice, one of the biggest war crimes... and its justified of course.
lol japan [editline]02:01AM[/editline] :smith:
Japan deserved it. And your late.
All the radiation must have got to their heads and caused them to draw anime. :smug:
Cool, let's bomb it again.

War does not need to happen. Peace can be achieved through many ways, people just need to SHARE and THINK. Oh look at the two unfunny dickheads above me. Don't give up your day job fellas
I like how the Japanese are so vocal about this part of the war but try to remove the Rape of Nanking from their history books.
bataan death march anyone [editline]12:22AM[/editline]
Kay. This is actually kinda scary. Who know how many "Tsar Bomba" size bombs we have today.
The bombings where justified, to save millions of American and Japanese life's. If they invaded the Japaneses home land it would have been D-day again, x100. Even after both of the bombs where dropped on Japan, several military commanders wanted to continue the war in till they pushed the Americans back back or they all died. It was a necessary evil. Please stop going, "Herp derp, America is evil." Look up some of the shit Japan did during WW2, Nanking Massarce and their treatment of Allied P.O.Ws
I bet they can't wait to celebrate
The bombs were a fucking neccessary evil, invading Japan would have cost so many more lives both American and Japanese.
I know what war is, but I know what death is too, your crystal ball of "the alternative is worse" doesn't mean that the choice was any better, what is the lesser of two evils?
... the nukes were the lesser evil. making the choice was better than not making the choice.
