They told my mum she needed a blood transfusion or she'd die and she survived perfectly fine as have alot of people I know.

Hang on, are you saying that because your mom didn't need a blood transfusion that no one does? That's great for your mom, but blood transfusions ARE often medically necessary.
I'm not religious, but I think people are having sex at too young of an age. If you're not old enough to deal with an accidental pregnancy, you shouldn't be taking the risk. However, I don't agree with not having sex until marriage, because I feel like that encourages people to get married for the wrong reasons (because they want sex). I totally support masturbation though. I don't understand why anyone would discourage that, besides their religion/society telling them it's wrong.
