Marijuana does dull the natural creation of dopamine
So your doing drugs to be happy just to make yourself depressed.
Hey OP, nice science facts about blood and THC! They were sciency and authoritative, and smelled like weed! I'm sure you got them from somewhere reputable and not from your stoner friend, right?
Anyway, like so many proud users, you forget that mentally ill people use weed too. Mental illness includes anything from depression to schizophrenia, and lots of mental illnesses are relatively common. Those with mental illnesses often tend towards drug use. Lack of impulse control.
Oh, and addiction is not just physical. There's dependence, too. What you call habitual use. Your mind likes being on weed better than being sober, so you seek to be on weed. It gets worse if you have impulse control problems, and thus, emotional dependency, a form of addiction that is very, very real.
Here's something they don't teach you on the street. Mental illness causes drugs to have abnormal affects. Like aggression and sleeplessness. Check in to your local psych ward for some reputable sources, as well as some first-hand accounts of the phenomenon. Schizophrenics have this problem sometimes.
I believe this website is aimed at the general population of teens, not mentally ill people. And dependence is something we have in our everyday life, and can be with almost anything. Some people need coffee every morning or they feel like crap and are tired and crabby if they don't get it, but not because the coffee does its job, but because the people are emotionally dependent on coffee, so it's not like it's only marijuana that is a dependent drug, many other things can be, and are to many people.
And no, i got them from my stoner self.

A lot of respected members of society smoke pot regularly.
I don't smoke to make myself happy. I smoke usually when I paint, or when I write music. It brings out a lot of creativity, and it is just a great way to relax. It's not like popping anti-depressants to make you happy (like YOU think).
How bout you do this. Smoke pot, and THEN come back and argue about how it makes you feel, otherwise you can't really argue its effects. There's this really dumb misconception that EVERYONE smokes pot to make themselves happy; as if that's the ONLY thing they have going for them in life.. It's just a relaxant. It's like having a beer after a hard day's work.

Yeah, i usually smoke because it makes everything better. Like i'll have barely anything in the pantry, then i'll smoke a joint and have everything in the pantry.
No matter your argument
It's illegal.
Piracy can be seen as harmless, but it's illegal.

Does that matter?
Jade Goody was called a respected member of society.

That's a fantastic comparison.
I wish I had a job, it's the only thing from stopping me from buying ounces upon ounces really.

Great...
and yes, it is entirely relevant to the topic of legality. If our own lawyers are smoking it, why shouldn't it be legalized?
Bah, they could have just mentioned that chronic use of marijuana, causes abnormality in the hippocamus and amygdala.

Good use of money.
Charities are totally worthless compared to self indulgence.
Something about stoners make me rage a lot.
All I ever hear from them is "HAR HAR I SMOKED SO MUCH WEED THAT I THREW UP" Its my opinion that most teens just smoke weed to feel like adults because of defiance. I never known a someone who smoked for more than 5 years before they stopped...except my aunt she grows her own stash. I wish those fucking twats stopped buying the shit to stop a lot of money for crime being generated by the drug trade

Proof to back up this claim?
I believe this website is aimed at the general population of teens, not mentally ill people. Well then your science is not science.
The general population of teens includes teens that are mentally ill, both undiagnosed and diagnosed. Whether or not the condition is recognized, it's still there, and so are the predispositions toward drugs that I talked about. I also said that the drugs can react badly. They can react badly in anyone who is mentally ill, young or old.
Of course dependence is something we have in everyday life. The difference is that, while coffee gives a bit of a boost, marijuana inebriates, makes people drunk and high.
A better analogy would be to liken weed to alcohol.
Both get you drunk. The people that use them all the time to get drunk are drunks.
What's going on there is emotional dependence. It is incredibly strong, in some cases as strong as physical addiction. In a damaged person, in someone depressed who wants to escape, in someone who doesn't know anything else, the allure of getting drunk on weed or alcohol is incredibly alluring because it means you don't have to feel. So they become drunks, addicted to the feeling. Their body is not addicted - their mind is addicted.
Do you see how I am not speaking about healthy, well-functioning individuals? In an ideal world you can still drink or smoke and still get on with your life. But a drunk is a drunk and it doesn't matter what's going into your body. It has the same effect, and when you use it all the time, you are a drunk.

Around three tokes makes my skin crawl and burn and I go nearly blind with hallucinations, and I hear voices talking loudly in my ears or music in strange made-up languages and I can barely walk for four hours. It's not the weed, I smoked for four months constantly from several dealers. I know you're probably skeptical but all the horrible shit you can imagine did happen. You cannot generalize the substance's effects when you do not know the condition of the person smoking it.

Give me reasons why it should be legalized besides HAR HAR FEELS GOOD, and half assed chav arguments as to how it could save the economy.

Oh wait.. You could say the same exact thing for potato chips, beer, and gambling.

God damn. I'm talking about the fucking principle of the matter, not specific examples... Are you seriously that naive? Because I seriously can't tell by the way you attempt to refute comments that are either sarcasm, or just examples taken way too seriously by yourself.
I could switch gambling to ANYTHING.
I'll totally trust that non biased argument posted by a highly pro marijuana member who has complained about people criticizing him but then criticizes them.

The core reason is civil liberties. The government has no say in what you can, and cannot put in your body. Not to mention that this DEA centric WAR ON DRUGS is a huge waste of taxpayer money. I'll be sure to continue evading income tax in China, for I sure as hell won't pay for shit like that.
