i finished part 6, and i'm pretty fucking confused
[sp]does the part 1-6 universe no longer exist?[/sp]
[sp]Yes. What's more the souls of people killed by Pucci are gone forever. And no, Part 7 is not set in the Ireneverse.[/sp]
Fuck it. I'm reading the manga. I'm tired of waiting for new episodes.

You have made a wise decision.
[sp]Anyone directly killed by Pucci are reincarnated as different people but Emporio appears to be the only one with memory of Part 6[/sp]
[sp]Giornio is still alive I think because of GER[/sp]
Savage Garden will release a singles album with Josuke on the cover (Link)

I believe only the people [sp]killed by Pucci were replaced. Josuke, Giorno, etc.[/sp] would be okay. The only place where it says [sp]Giorno made some kind of universal transition is Jorge Joestar,[/sp] and the canon status of that is very murky.

[sp]If he wasn't killed by Pucci he'd still be alive in the Ireneverse[/sp]
these localizations literally went from bad to worse
Considering how accurate the anime is to the manga, it kind makes the manga irrelevant.
But nevertheless, I'm going to read it too, after this season ends. The wait for the next season would kill me.
Do both. Manga has more consistent and better looking art and is also miles ahead of the animation, which may not end up adapting everything. The anime has whatever an anime has over a manga including the amazing censorship!
My original plan was to watch the part 4 anime completely, than start reading the manga starting with part 5.
But man the weekly wait is killing me.
Man, the next episode is gonna get interesting.

Remember, the retranslation of part 5 is still unfinished. It's about halfway done. Go ahead and read the first 4 parts in manga, though.
I'm glad I decided to read the manga.
I don't know why, but I can't stop laughing at Koichi's facial expressions.
If you like Jojo, you will not regret reading the manga while waiting for new episodes.
The manga and anime may be the same story, but both are equally enjoyable. You will not regret it.

Only manga has Steel Ball Run, all arguments for manga not being better than anime are irrelevant until it's adapted.
SBR is the shit

I was referring to part 4. Reading the manga and watching the anime are both enjoyable experiences that can be done in together.
You can do both and still have a great time.

the end of an era
Can't wait for [really spicy chili pepper] and [dangerous queen]

I think they'll just use their ASB battle names.
personally looking forward to [lost feline], [expensive romance] and [jewel conserve]
Wonder how they'll do [Rodent]
What would happen if you were being effected by Sethan and Grateful Dead at the same time?
What would happen if you were being effected by Sethan and Grateful Dead at the same time?
Grateful Dead just physically ages you whereas Sethan deages you physically and mentally. You can see a kid during the fight on the train who looks like Benjamin Button at the beginning of the movie.

I'd still reccomend the manga because the story flows really well in the manga form.
I want them to somehow screw up [sp]Hermit Purple[/sp] even though that makes no sense

I waited until the first 4 episodes came out so I could binge watch it a little bit.
Part 4 is shaping up nicely.
[sp]I can't tell if Koichi is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome or what[/sp]
