JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: You can't escape now! You super retard!

I'm really looking forward to the RHCP episodes because that's pretty much the turning point of things starting to get real.
Just got my first SAS Jojo figures in the mail.

I really liked the look of Silver Chariot's OVA colors so I had to get him first, and I couldn't not get the Polnareff figure. What's the point of getting a stand with no stand user?
Do they have a figure of Polnareff doing the " Depths of despair" pose? The one he does during the speech to J.Geil with him pointing he's finger and Chariot he's sword?
Couldn't really find it anywhere.
Of all the stands I've read up to so far, Echoes is probably my favorite.
I just love all of the unexpected and/or wacky applications it has.
I can only hope they perfectly capture LETS KILL DA HOE
I forget that the Medicos Jojo figures have replaceable parts.
Also kudos for posting the manga image of the pose. Best pose troughout Stardust Crusaders.
I enjoy the fact that Yukako's stand breaks literally all of the rules of stands

How so?

Can be seen by regular people, doesn't reflect any damage back onto the owner, and was slightly damaged by non-stand means

all those also apply to Anubis

Don't forget that some stands can posses, or even be inanimate objects. Toth, Strength, Super Fly, Bohemian Rhapsody (and more) all have this feature.

Hell, even Judgement is probably made of sand (which is why it got damaged but it user was fine)- interesting how stands are both fucking out there yet restrained to certain rules.

Also the fool since it's made of sand. And I think Judgement was automatic, which wouldn't damage the user
EoH is pretty fun but I need to practice with it more because I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing.

conspiracy and conjecture: it's not actually a stand but rather a separate power entirely. the bow doesn't awaken stands, but rather innate power, which usually takes the form of a stand. the same rules apply to anubis which may just be a cursed sword and I think strength as well

IIRC, aren't stands described as manifestations of spiritual power? It makes sense that if that's the case there'd be other ways of manifesting it as well.

Stands bound to physical objects abide by different rules.

Anubis may just be one of those stands that doesn't die when its users does, like [sp]cheap trick[/sp]. AFAIK, if there is a seperate power to be known, Araki will hapilly explain it.
Also, aren't stands in themselves just innate power awakened?
There's a mini-chapter in Part 7 that just takes the time to explain Stands, and Hamon and Spin to a lesser extent, as well. It's a good read and would've been nice to have at the beginning of Part 3, but I'm sure Araki wasn't 100% sure on the absolute details at the time.
so here's a little trivia for you guys:
[sp] During the tension surface bet on D'arby the gambler's chapter. Why didn't Joseph just use hamon to make the water stand still like Zeppeli and Jonathan did with the wine chalices during Phantom Blood?[/sp]
[sp]There's no way D'arby would have been able to tell he was using some kind of unknown power to control the water and he would have won no matter how many coins he would put in the cup.[/sp]

[sp]He was very ill-practiced with Hamon by the time part 3 rolled around- sure, he could pull out an overdrive, but most of the specifics were unfortunately forgotten. Kinda sad, really- I'd hope that someone in that universe remembered and practiced The Ripple.[/sp]

[sp]I think the whole wine thing was just Zeppeli using a metaphor of some sorts, hence the story of bravery and shit[/sp]

[sp]d'arby's a smart guy, he'd definitely know joseph's pulling some bullshit if he refused to let go of the glass[/sp]
Has anyone heard about this Stardust crusaders movie rumor? I'm a bit pissed.
Not because it's gonna be crap, but because I wanted to do it.

he'd probably have to be asked. as is, I don't think he's thought much about it

more importantly [sp]by the events of part 3 joseph is super out of practice with hamon and possibly can't do that anymore[/sp]
