I'll admit that I read your post wrong and thought[sp]you were going to be sad that he's going to fucking explode.[/sp] :v:

On the contrary, if it means I will never have to hear he's annoying voice ever again I consider it a plus.

[sp] You say that as if Dio was any more likeable begin with. The guy killed a dog by putting him into a fucking furnace when he was only 12 [/sp]
To me they are more or less on the same level of being shitheads.

I would not put Dio and Shigechi on the same level, not at all. One is an inherently evil person that tried taking over the world, the other one is just a lonely kiddo who doesn't realize he's being pretty greedy. Go pick on Hazamada, the little nerd.

What I'm really saying is that Araki liking him more than Dio doesn't really mean a lot. Since Dio is 10x worse then Shigechi is. Is like comparing The Joker with Dennis the Menace. Sure, they are not on the same level when it comes to intentions since Shigechi's crimes are more petty. But they are still assholes even if it's on a different scale.
[sp]I know you're gonna come with the argument that "Oh, he's just a kid he doesn't know any better", but remember that said kid also tried to scam off two people of a large sum of money because "He didn't feel like sharing". Oh also almost sent them to their deaths by dismantling pipes they were standing on in top of a building [/sp]
He had to be taught sympathy. [sp]He started as a complete piece of shit, but was transitioning into becoming a pretty cool guy, with his last moments spent actively trying to do good. That's what makes his death effective for me, and makes his character pretty likable in the end. To me.[/sp]

Eh, I got no argument. I respect your opinion as that's all these are, and I better understand what you were talking about with the Joker/Dennis the Menace comparison.
Though I gotta go with what xalener was talking about with being taught sympathy. Shigechi never really had friends. We don't really know if he ever would have even had experiences growing up with other kids that teachers him what's considered scummy and not. I mean, look at his behavior later on. Josuke and Okuyasu taught him his shit stinks when he tries to be greedy and underhand others. [sp]If he had more time, I'm positive he would have developed even more.[/sp]
In commemoration with one of my favourite antagonists finally getting his screentime I tried something new:

Watching the latest episode and when [sp]Kira and his... um... "girlfriend" were in food shop to buy a sandwich and "she" accidentally ruptured the package and got sauce on "her" fingers the only thing I could think was "please don't lick it off her fingers please don't lick it off her fingers please don't lick it off her fingers"
he licked it off her fingers[/sp]
the manga panel is even worse
I hope I'm not late to the Killer Kittyposting

So, this is gonna be a decade away, but I just thought of something for the Part 7 anime- [sp]Because it is basically a reimagined Part 1, shouldn't there be a high chance they'll reuse Roundabout for the ending song again? Especially since it regained popularity after it was used the first time. I know it's far away, but I bet that's what they'll do.[/sp]
I always thought it would be kinda cool for a SBR anime to have a somber like opening , like Band of Brothers

I still think that they should use [sp]Yes - America[/sp] It would fit right in with the idea and spirit of Part 7.

Or maybe [sp]America - A horse with no name[/sp].
part of me is excited to see 5/6 animated
part of me wants them skipped so I can see part 7
i want to see part 5 animated, even if just to see how they do King Crimson's effect
Part 7 anime would be cgi horses
'' Lesson 5'' is definitely in the top of my list for Jojo moments I want animated.
part 5 and part 6 are probably the least memorable of all of the parts for me
i can remember basically nothing from them except the final battles
Part 5 had a lot of really awesome stand fights that would be amazing to see animated. Only downside will be all the censorship.
The Grateful Dead chapters would be so good animated

if I was in charge I would use datamoshing

I actually discussed this with someone the other day when they said part 4 was 'filler'
I can remember basically every stand and important plot point of part 4 roughly in order, but all I can remember really from part 5 is the fight with the mirror dude, the stuff on the train, the thing with the lighter and the coliseum stuff
oh and the 'steal 100 cars' thing

How can a part be filler when each one is a (mostly) self contained story?
