I have a dream that when david finish adapting jojo they use all their love and care to adapt berserk to the same standard. Jojo is great and its fantastic is has such a great studio working on it. Now if only berserk could get the same treatment instead of the insult that is the 2016 anime.
Quick question: What's David?
[Sp]-I honestly thought Naranica was a little girl several individual times[/sp]
[sp]Narancia's stand is Aerosmith, Aerosmith has a song called "Dude Looks Like a Lady"[/sp] :v:
[sp]Even though he made up for it at the end, I still can't believe Jotaro didn't at least try to stop time and open the door to see Kira's face, I can't help but feel that could've been done quickly and painlessly[/sp]
[sp]Jotaro can stop time for half a second at this point. He could see his face, then die to his stand while his time stop is on cooldown. He'd rather save it for when he's in danger.[/sp]

In part 3 he could stop time/move in stopped time for about 4 seconds, in part 4 its like 1-2 seconds, then in part 6 he's able to stop time for 5 seconds.[/sp]

For all you anime only watchers I'd highly recommend Ariaki's three part miniseries "Dead Man's Questions" which ties into the events of part 4 in ways I won't spoil here. Seriously, don't even look up the premise online, it will spoil all the cool stuff.
A little thing about requiem. I heard a discussion recently about how [sp]using the arrow a second time in order to bring about a requiem stand manifests the stands power in a way that helps the users current situation, in other words creates a new ability based on the requirements of the user. I'll be lumping in Bites the Dust with the other requiems for this argument. Kira needed an autonomous backup plan in order to protect his lifestyle, Polnareff needed to get the arrow away from Diavolo by any means necessary and buy the group some time, and Giorno needed a way to counteract Diavolos "Cause and Effect" fuckery.[/sp] Just something to think about.
IIRC [sp]Jotaro hadn't practiced stopping time after the battle with DIO, so he got rusty with it.[/sp]
[Sp] it also required a huge amount of physical effort from the stand user, which was easy for dio as he was a supercharged vampire. But the second the fight ended and jotaro calmed down it would have been near impossible for him to continue doing it for more than a couple seconds.[/sp]

question: what would be the exact inverse of a time stop?
A time flow?
question: what would be the exact inverse of a time stop?
king crimson
question: what would be the exact inverse of a time stop?
P6:[sp]Made in Heaven[/sp]?
P6:[sp]Made in Heaven[/sp]?
yeah that makes sense btw wouldn't the inverse of king crimson be [sp]adding time?[/sp]
I'm surprised how many voice actors are in JoJo adaptations, even if they don't reprise their exact roles throughout the games/OVAs/etc. IIRC while most of HttF's VAs returned for ASB and the anime, the only one that reprises a role is Vanilla Ice in the anime. Even the mediocre Phantom Blood movie has ASB Kira's voice actor. It's kinda off-putting to hear Kira's voice come from Baron Zeppeli
The movie may have been bad but Voodoo Kingdom is A fucking +
jesus christ
That took me way too long to get the joke.
Watched a few more episodes of the animu tonight, and it has cemented my opinion that the [sp]Blueford and Tarukus[/sp] fight is really a drag that kind of kills the pacing of Part 1. Sure there are some cool bits (with the hair foreshadowing Love Deluxe a bit?) but overall I don't like it because I just don't care about these two medieval assholes and it detracts from the Jonathan/Zeppeli vs Dio/Stone Mask feud. At least now that that's all over with I can look forward to the big ol' Dio fight next! I remember that being a really exciting back-and-forth of oneupsmanship and last resorts that should be really fun animated. I wonder how my friend will react to [sp]Jonathan dying in the finale[/sp], or [sp]Dio coming back in Part 3[/sp] - I had both of those spoiled for me at some point. Honestly I just really want to get to the next parts - 2 has my favorite JoJo, and then 3 and 4 have a lot of fun stand-of-the-week episodes. Although I do enjoy part 1, if I was watching it alone I would skip around a bit to just hit the highlights.
SHEEEEEER
I was actually surprised by how they handled Sheers "Over Here!". I expected it to be more of a shriek or a yell, but instead we get [sp]A scary, threatening voice[/sp]
just started reading ahead in the manga for the first time and i do not regret it. it's fucking great can't wait to see the fight between [sp]jotaro, koichi, and kira[/sp] animated. also the scene with [sp]kira's dad's ghost[/sp] would be neat to see too

It's a lot easier for your victim not to react if it's just a normal voice to be used. Plus it gives that whole "horror movie serial killer" vibe that I think Kira's supposed to represent at times.[/sp]
